The evolution and different functions of central health administrative organs in different historical periods of China was described in order to fill the gaps in research of their history.

Objective To investigate the correlation of serum levels of soluble intercellular adhe-sion molecule-1(slCAM-1) and high-sensitivity C reactive protein (hs-CRP) in newborn infants with hypoxic-ischemie encephalopathy(HIE),as well as the clinical significance of the above two indicators in evaluating prognosis and pathogenetic condition, Methods Immunoturbidimetry(ITM) was applied to measuring hs-CRP,and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) was used to detect slCAM-1. Results As compared with those of healthy control group,the serum levels of hs-CRP and slCAM-1 were significantly increased in acute phase group(P＜0.01). However, the serum levels of hs-CRP and sICAM-1 were declined in recovery phase group. No statistical difference was found between recovery phase group and healthy control group(P>0.05). Conclusion Serum slCAM-1 and hs-CRP may be used as useful indicators of prognosis and pathogenetic condition.

Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of BudesonideNasal Spray plus Gelomyrtol Forte for acute secretory otitis media.Methods 80 Patients (108ears) and 60 patients (74ears) were treated by BudesonideNasal Spray be bound to Gelomyrtol Forte and Cefaclor Dispersible Tablets res pectively. After 10 days, observe the two groups’s clinical curative effect for acute secretory otitis media.Results The of treatment’s group efficient rate is 99.07, Cefaclor Dispersible Tablets 87.84, and the difference is (?2 =10.68 P0.05), and mild adverse reactions will be disappeared after stoping drugs. Conclusion The of BudesonideNasal Spray puls Gelomyrtol Forte is better than that of Cefaclor Dispersible Tablets for acute secretory otitis media. The mild adverse reaction is the same between the two groups.

Objective:To develop and study the properties of ion-exchange polyvinyl alcohol-acrylic acid microspheres(PVA-AA-Ms) for embolization.Methods:The PVA-AA-Ms were produced by the method of inverse suspension polymerization.The morphology and particle size were determined by optical microscope;FT-IR was used to investigate the special functional groups of PVA-AA-Ms;the carboxyl content of PVA-AA-Ms was measured by chemical titration;the compression elasticity was examined by texture analyzer(TA-plus).Pingyangmycin(bleomycin A5) was used as model drug to prepare drug-loaded PVA-AA-Ms.Drug loading and entrapment efficiency were measured through UV-spectrophotometer;in vitro drug release characteristic was detected by constant temperature vibration dialysis assay.Results:The PVA-AA-Ms were round and integrated.The average diameter of PVA-AA-Ms was 500 ?m with a range of 150-1 000 ?m.The carboxyl vibration was demonstrated by FT-IR and the content of carboxyl was 8.905 mmol/g.PVA-AA-Ms were mechanically stable with appropriate elasticity.Drug loading and entrapment efficiency were 30 g/L and 99.4%,respectively.The drug release rate was slow in phosphate buffer solution(PBS),88.3% of the drug was released after 24 h and the t50 was 2.19 h.Conclusion:PVA-AA-Ms prepared in this study were supposed to be suitable for clinical embolization according to the physicochemical properties.The high carboxyl content of PVA-AA-Ms which allowed them to load cationic drugs(e.g.,drug with amino group) through ion-exchange mechanism brought broad prospects for combination of embolization and chemotherapy.

Objective To study on the drug-resistance mechanism of Brucella resistance to Quinolone antibiotics to guide the selection and use of antimicrobial agents in clinical practice. Methods Six strains of Brucella melitensis(Bru1, Bru2, Bru3, Bru4, Bru5, Bru6) were selected to be induced resistance to levofloxacin in vitro respectively. The MICs of the 6 strains of Brucella melitensis and induced resistant strains were measured by agar dilution method. The sensitivity to Quinolone antibiotics (Levofloxacin, Ciprofloxacin, Lomefloxacin, Norfloxacin, Fleroxacin, Ofloxaein) of 6 strains of Brucella melitensis and induced resistant strains was measured by K-B method. The gyrA of the 6 strains of Brucella melitensis and induced resistant strains was amplified by PCR, then the nucleotide sequence of the genes were analyzed. Results The MICs of Bru1,Bru2,Bru3,Bru4, Bru6 were 0.50 μg/ml and Bru5 was 0.25 μg/ml. The strains Bin3, Bru4 were induced into drug-resistant strains by Levofloxacin, then were named LEVR3 and LEVR4 respectively. The MICs of LEVR3 and LEVR4 were 64,128 μg/ml with 128 and 256 times higher than that of the parental strains. The 6 strains of Brucella melitensis were sensitive to Quinolone antibiotics, LEVR3 and LEVR4 were resistant to Quinolone antibiotics. Neucleotide sequence analysis and comparison of the derived amino acid sequence revealed that Quinolone resistance-determing region of GyrA had a substitution at position Ala87 and Asp91 in laboratory resistant strains. Conclusion The results of in vitro experiments show that acquired resistance of Brucella melitensis strains to Levofloxacin could beinduced when exposed to high level of some antibacterial agents for short term. Two drug-resistant strains occur mutations in gyrA and have cross-resistance to other Quinolones.

Objective To evaluate the correlation between serum procalcitonin concentration and systemic inflam-matory response syndrome (SIRS)score in patients with bacterial bloodstream infection.Methods In January-De-cember,2012,96 patients with bacterial bloodstream infection in a hospital were selected as trial group,and these patients were divided into three groups(group A,B and C)according to SIRS score;84 patients without bacterial in-fection was as control group,PCT concentration of all patients were detected,and the correlation between PCT con-centration and SIRS score was analyzed.Results Among 96 patients with bacterial bloodstream infection,7 (7.29%)died (4 were in group B and 3 in group C);there was no death case in control group.PCT concentration in control group,group A,B and C of trial group were (0.28±0.09)ng/mL,(0.63±0.13)ng/mL,(3.68±1.01)ng/mL,and(7.45±1.53)ng/mL,respectively,the difference between each group was significant(P<0.01).Pairwise comparison of four groups showed statistical difference (P<0.001).Spearman correlation analysis on PCT concen-tration and SIRS score was conducted,correlation coefficient r=0.874(P<0.001)suggested positive correlation be-tween serum PCT concentration and SIRS score.Conclusion PCT concentration in patients with bacterial blood-stream infection and SIRS score is positively correlated,PCT concentration and SIRS score can be used as two mark-ers for assessing the extent and prognosis of bacterial bloodstream infection.

Dengue virus (DENV) nonstructural protein 1 (NS1) is a highly conserved 46-kDa protein that contains 2 glycosylation sites (Asn-130 and Asn-207) and 12 conserved cysteine (Cys) residues. Here, we performed site-directed mutagenesis to generate systematic mutants of viral strain TSV01. The results of the subsequent analysis showed that an alanine substitution at the second N-linked glycan Asn-207 in NS1 delayed viral RNA synthesis, reduced virus plaque size, and weakened the cytopathic effect. Three mutants at Cys sites (Cys-4, Cys-55, Cys-291) and a C-terminal deletion (ΔC) mutant signiifcantly impaired RNA synthesis, and consequently abolished viral growth, whereas alanine mutations at Asn-130 and Glu-173 resulted in phenotypes that were similar to the wild-type (WT) virus. Further analysis showed that the Asn-207 mutation slightly delayed viral replication. These results suggest that the three conserved disulifde bonds and the second N-linked glycan in NS1 are required for DENV-2 replication.

OBJECTIVETo compare clinical outcomes of locking plate for proximal humeral fracture whether application of inferomedial screws.

METHODSFrom January 2012 to July 2013, 46 patients with proximal humeral fracture underwent locking plates were retrospectively analyzed. There were 25 males and 21 females aged from 29 to 80 years old with an average of 55.1 years old. Among them, 25 patients were treated with inferomedial screws (support group), including 13 males and 12 females aged from 38 to 80 years old with an average of (55.8 ± 11.8) years old; 8 cases were part two fracture,10 cases were part three fracture and 7 cases were part four fracture according to Neer classification. Twenty-one patients were treated without inferomedial screws (non-support group), including 12 males and 9 females aged from 29 to 79 years old with an average of (54.2 ± 14.8)years old; 6 cases were part two fracture, 9 cases were part three fracture and 6 cases were part four fracture according to Neer classification. Operative time, fracture healing time and complications were observed and compared, Neer scoring of shoulder joint were used to evaluate clinical effect.

RESULTSAll patients were followed up from 12 to 41 months with an average of 15.6 months. Operative time and fracture healing time in support group was (1.6 ± 0.4) h and (3.0 ± 0.6) months, and (1.5 ± 0.4) h and (3.1 ± 0.6) months in non-support group, while there was no statistical difference in operative time and fracture healing time between two groups. There was significant differences in Neer score between support group (89.7± 4.9) and non-support group (83.1 ± 7.1). No complication occurred in support group,while 4 cases occurred complications in non-support group.

CONCLUSIONLocking plate with inferomedial screws for proximal humeral fracture has advantages of stable fixation, less complications, quick recovery of function and satisfied clinical effect.
