Objective To investigate the clinical value of blood recovery in the heart valve replacement surgery of adults. Methods Selected 556 patients accepted cardiac valve replacement surgery from May 2008 to April 2012 in our hospital, and divid-ed into control group(278 cases)and observation group(278 cases)according to the way of intraoperative blood transfusion patients in observation group underwent autologous blood recovery and patients in control group underwent without autologous blood recov-ery,the clinical parameters were observed and statistically analyzed. Results The differences of blood routine after 24 h(such as he-moglobin,hematocrit,platelets,etc.)and blood gas analysis(such as pH,potassium ions, lactic acid, etc.)between two groups were not significantly different, which is statistically insignificant(P >0.05);the postoperative chest drainage of patients in observation group was not significantly different from that of patients in control group, which was statistically insignificant(P >0.05);the a-mount of banked blood in observation group(263.83 ± 19.23)mL was significantly lower than that in control group(615.24 ± 20.34)mL,the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion In heart valve replacement sur-gery of adults, blood recovery can effectively add blood volume, reduce autologous blood loss, and significantly reduce the amount of banked blood input, which is worthy of promotion.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2017;16(4):392-396
Standardized training of residents in the department of orthodontics is an important learn-ing stage for stomatology students before carrying out clinical orthodontic diagnosis and treatment work. At present, there are some deficiencies in the standardized training system of the residents in the Department of Orthodontics, such as the single teaching mode, imperfect training items, and unclear evaluation criteria. The department of orthodontics of Stomatology Hospital of Southern Medical University carried on a prelim-inary study on the training pattern of resident doctors in the refinement of the training content, optimizing curriculum design, implementation of tutorial teaching mode, the combination of theoretical study and clini-cal training, regular training evaluation and quantitative assessment indicators. The results showed that the trainees' acceptance and satisfaction were higher, which was beneficial to the improvement of clinical com-prehensive ability of orthodontics.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 2016;37(9):116-119
Objective To investigate effects of multimodal analgesia on cytokines and cortisol levels in patients received surgical treatment for radical colon cancer. Methods Eighty-six patients with radical colon cancer treated with surgery were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group only received routine epidural anesthesia and the observation group received multimodal analgesia.Preoperative and postoperative VAS scores, cytokines and cortisol levels were measured. Results Compared with those of the control group, the following 5 indicators decreased significantly in the observation group including VAS scores of after 24 h,48 h,72 h,IL-8 and TNF-α after 24 h,IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α after 48 h,Cor after 24h,and Cor and ACTH after 48 h (P<0.05).Conclusion Perioperative multi-mode analgesia helps relieve pain, stress and inflammatory cytokines among patients after the surgery for radical colon cancer.

China Pharmacy 2007;0(32):-
OBJECTIVE:To investigate medical staff’s awareness and knowledge level on the rational use and management of antibacterials in our hospital.METHODS:A questionnaire survey was conducted on the spot among medical staff in our hospital, and the results of survey were recorded in Excel electronic form and subjected to data analysis and processing.RESU-LTS & CONCLUSION:The medical staff had a good mastering about the general knowledge about antibacterials(such as definitions, classifications and so on). However, their answers to the questions such as reasonable antibacterial drug use, bacterial resistance, safety and expertise were relatively concentrated(tended to tick the same answer). Therefore,it is advisable to develop different forms of training through different ways among hospital medical staff to enhance their knowledge level on antibacterials and strengthen their awareness of correct and rational use of antibacterials meanwhile setting related measures and management norms.

International Eye Science 2017;17(6):1063-1065
The precise measurement in lens thickness in vivo, provides great application value for intraocular accommodation and ametropia development mechanism research. And it has great clinical significance for the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and cataract.Currently, many ultrasonic methods and optical methods are used in measuring lens thickness. The measurement principles, advantages, disadvantages and the accuracy of the instruments are summarized in this paper.Among these methods, Orbscan II, Pentacam, Lenstar and AS-OCT can be used to measure lens thickness instead of A-scan.More important is the fact that UL-OCT can dynamically monitor the change of the lens thickness with intraocular accommodation.Choosing an instrument with higher measuring accuracy to examine the lens thickness, can provide more accurate and convincing lens thickness data for clinical and scientific research.

A quail-origin subtype of the influenza virus was isolated from a human-infecting H7N9 subtype of the avian influenza virus found in a live poultry market and was given the name A/Quail/Hangzhou/1/ 2013 (H9N2). We analyzed the whole genome of this virus and its biologic characteristics. Sequence analyses suggested that the: HA and NS genes belonged to a CK/BJ/1/94-like lineage; NA, NP, PA and PB1 genes belonged to a SH/F/98-like lineage; M and PB2 genes belonged to a G1-like lineage. Analyses of key amino acids showed that the cleavage site in HA protein was PSRSSR ↓ GL, and that the HA protein had a human receptor-binding site with Leu226. Deletion of amino acids 69 - 73 was detected in the stalk of NA protein, the M2 protein had an Asn31 mutation, and the NS1 protein had two mutations at Ser42, Ala149. The intravenous pathogenicity of this virus was 0.36. A study in chickens suggested that all inoculated birds shed the virus from the trachea and cloaca on the third day post-infection (p. i. ) until 11 days. All chickens that had direct contact shed the virus on the second day p. i. until 8 days. Results of virus reisolation suggested that lung and tracheal tissues could shed the virus in 5 days, whereas the other organs could shed the virus in 3 days. These results suggest that this virus strain is H9N2 subtype LPAIV, whose lineage is prevalent in mainland China. This research provides evidence on how to monitor and prevent the H9N2 subtype of the avian influenza virus.
