Objective To investigate the effects of Kinesio taping on function of knees in girls. Methods 20 female students were tested the peak torque of centripedal and eccentric contraction of knee flexion and extension with Biodex isokinetic testing at 60°/s angular velocity, with Kinesio taping, placebo taping and without taping. Their amplitude root of mean square (RMS) of surface electromyography of vastus medialis (VM), rectus femoris (RM) and vastus lateralis (VL) were also recorded. Results For centripedal isokinetic contraction, the relative extensors peak torque was the most as Kinesio taping (P<0.01). There was no significant difference in relative flexor peak torque (P> 0.05). Standardized RMS of VM and VL were the least as Kinesio taping (P<0.01), but not significantly different of RF among all the conditions (P>0.05). For eccentric isokinetic contraction, the relative extensor peak torque of both extensors and flexors were the most as Kinesio taping (P<0.01), while the Standardized RMS of VM and VL were the least (P<0.01), but no significant difference was observed in RF (P> 0.05). Conclusion Kinesio taping may enhance the strength of centripedal, eccentric contractions of quadriceps and eccentric contractions of hamstring, and increase the muscle fibers recruitment of VM and VL.

Objective To investigate the cognitive dificiency characteristics and the neuro electrophysiological mechanism of sleep disordered breathing(SDB) in school-age children.Methods20 cases of SDB children and 20 cases of normal group at 6-8 years old participated in the continue performance test(CPT-AX).The amplitude and latency of N2,P3 of event related potentials(ERPs) were measured and analysed at Fz leads,and the behavioral results were recorded at the same time.ResultsThere were no significant differences between SDB group and normal group in behavioral correct number (36.10±4.69 vs 35.05±3.49),the reaction time ((523.77±68.73)ms vs (496.59±78.65)ms) and false alarm number (1.0 (0.25,3.75) vs 0.5 (0.00,3.00))(all P>0.05).The SDB group showed significant increase in Go-P3 amplitudes compared with the normal group((10.25±6.46)μV vs (6.56±4.63)μV,P<0.05).The Go-P3 latency in SDB group was significantly prolonged than that in the normal group((438.80±59.72)ms vs (406±36.30)ms,P<0.05),and the Nogo-N2 amplitude in SDB group significantly decreased compared with the normal group ((-12.46±4.75)μV vs (-15.50±3.82)μV,P<0.05).ConclusionThe children aged 6 to 8 years old with sleep disordered breathing consume more resources and time to complete the attention process,like a compensatory response.And during the monitoring process there is a resource shortage that results in obvious defect in process of inhibition.

Objective To observe the effects of ursolic acid (UA) on the activation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase (NOX) and the downstream signaling pathways in platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) activated rat hepatic stellate cell (HSC-T6).Methods Rat HSC-T6 cells were divided into blank control group (no treatment),UA control group (50 μmol/L UA),PDGF group (10 μg/L PDGF),UA intervention group (50 μmol/L UA + 10 μg/L PDGF),diphenyleneiodonium intervention(DPI) group (20 μmol/L DPI+ 10 μg/L PDGF),SB203580 (p38 mitogen-activated protein kirase(p38MAPK) inhibitor) intervention group (10 μmol/L SB203580 + 10 μg/LPDGF),LY294002 (phosphatidylinositop 3 kinase(PI3K) inhibitor) intervention group (10 μmol/L LY294002 + 10 μg/L PDGF) and rosup positive control group (5 μg/mL rosup).Except rosup positive control group,the expression of type Ⅰ collagen at mRNA level of each group was detected by fluorescence quantitavepolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).The expression of membrane protein p47phox (except rosup positive control group),PI3K(except rosup positive control group and SB203580 intervention group),p-protein kinase B (p-AKT,except rosup positive control group and SB203580 intervention group) and phosphorylated p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p-p38MAPK,except rosup positive control group and LY294002 intervention group) were tested by Western blot.Except SB203580 intervention group and LY294002 intervention group,the fluorescence intensity in the cells of each group was analyzed with active oxygen detection kit and fluorescence microplate reader.Single factor analysis of variance and LSD test were performed for comparison between groups.Results Type Ⅰ collagen at the mRNA level of PDGF group (3.74±0.32) was higher than that of blank control group (1.00±0.00) ; Type Ⅰ collagen at the mRNA level of UA group (0.21 ±0.02) was lower than that of blank control group,UA intervention group (1.02 ± 0.12),DPI intervention group (1.09±0.21),SB203580 intervention group (1.18± 0.27),and LY294002 intervention group (1.15 ± 0.26) were all lower than PDGF group,and the differences were statistically significant (t =15.667,-4.501,-15.553,-15.154,-14.642 and -14.813,all P＜0.05).p47phox at the protein expression level of PDGF group (1.98±0.53) was higher than that of blank control group (1.00±0.00) ; that of UA group (0.48±0.10) was lower than blank control group; those of UA intervention group (0.95 ± 0.26),DPI intervention group (0.99 ± 0.28),SB203580 intervention group (0.93±0.31),and LY294002 intervention group (1.07±0.19) were all lower than PDGF group (t=4.209,-2.234,4.424,-4.252,-4.510 and-3.909,all P＜0.05).The protein expression level of PI3K of PDGF group (2.27±0.46) was higher than that of blank control group (1.00±0.00); that of UA intervention group (0.14 ± 0.07) was lower than PDGF group and blank control group; that of UA group (0.14±0.07) was lower than blank control group; those of DPI intervention group (0.53±0.25) and LY294002 intervention group (0.35±0.14) were all lower than PDGFgroup (t 6.205,8.208,-2.003,4.202,-8.502 and-9.831,all P＜0.05).The protein expression level of p-Akt of PDGF group (2.54±0.49) was higher than that of blank control group (1.00± 0.00); those of UA intervention group (0.74± 0.20),DPI intervention group (0.94 ± 0.37) and LY294002 intervention group (1.17±0.41) were all lower than PDGF group; that of UA group (0.59± 0.15) was lower than blank control group (t=5.927,-6.928,-6.158,-5.273 and-1.578,all P＜ 0.05).The protein expression level of p-p38MAPK of PDGF group (1.98±0.35) was higher than that of blank control group (1.00±0.00); those of UA intervention group (0.68±0.28),DPI intervention group (0.63±0.27) and SB203580 intervention group (0.67 ± 0.29) was all lower than PDGF group; that of UAgroup (0.28±0.13) was lower than blank control group (t=4.897,-6.479,-6.727,-6.529 and-3.561,all P＜0.05).The level of active oxygen of PDGF group (105.57±7.51) was higher than that of blank control group (69.60±8.63) ; those of UA intervention group (64.56±9.11),DPI intervention group (65.75 ± 6.62) was lower than PDGF group,UA group (29.84 ±3.19) was lower than blank control group (t=6.368,-7.288,-7.071 and-7.255,all P＜0.05).Conclusion UA could inhibit membrane displacement of NOX subunit p47phox and reduce active oxygen production in PDGF induced rat HSC-T6 cells,and then block phosphorylation of PI3K Akt,p 38MAPK signal pathways and inhibited the expression of type Ⅰ collagen at mRNA level.

Linezolid is the first oxazolidinone antibacterial drug approved by the FDA, which can effectively treat various gram-positive bacterial infections, including blood infections, skin and soft tissue infections, community and hospital-acquired pneumonia. It has become one of the most commonly used antibiotics in clinical. In addition to the recently launched tedizolid phosphate (TR701) and contezolid (MRX-I), several oxazolidinone anti-infective candidates are currently under clinical research. This review briefly introduces the oxazolidinone antibiotics that have been marketed and are in clinical trials, and recent progress on the structure optimization of oxazolidinone drugs is also summarized.

Mean platelet volume (MPV) is an early marker of platelet activation.Larger platelets,compared to small ones,increase platelet adhesion and aggregation,and present a higher thrombotic activity.Some studies have explored the association between MPV and the morbidity of portal vein thrombosis (PVT).The aim of this study was to evaluate the predictive effect of MPV in patients with PVT by a meta-analysis.We searched Pubmed,Web of Science,SCOPUS,OVID,CNKI and CBMD from database inception to September 13,2017.Seven studies in accordance with selection criteria were included.The extraction of basic data was independently conducted by two reviewers.The mean difference in MPV between PVT patients and controls were pooled with weighted mean difference (WMD)and 95％ confidence interval of 0.88 fl (95％ CI:0.61-1.15).A random-effect model was chosen for an obvious heterogeneity in the pooling (Chi-square=27.12,df=6,P＜0.0001,I2=77.9％).The sources of heterogeneity were from the difference of primary disease of participants and portal vein diameter.Taken together,our results reveal that MPV is a predictive indicator in patients with PVT.

Objective To evaluate the role of imaging diagnosis in surgical treatment of primary aldosteronism(PA). MethodsFrom Jan 1995 to Dec 2004,245 patients with PA were hospitalized in our hospital.Before the operations,all the patients underwent B-ultrasonography and CT scaning,240 received intravenous pyelography and 75 MRI.The preoperative imaging diagnosis were compared with the findings during the operations and postoperative pathologic results. Results Compared with the findings during the operations,the accuracy rates of localized diagnosis for PA with B-ultrasonography,CT scanning and MRI were 92.7%,98.2% and 90.4%,respectively.Compared with the postoperative pathologic results,the accuracy rates of qualitative diagnosis for aldosterone-producing adenoma(APA) with B-ultrasonography,CT scanning and MRI were 83.0%,90.7% and 72.2%,respectively. Conclusion The comprehensive imaging data are helpful in the localized diagnosis of PA.Correct preoperative qualitative diagnosis of APA is the key step for the surgical treatment for PA.

Objective To investigate the effects of different standard cross sections and angles on the measurement accuracy of induced postnatal fetal long bones. Methods Fetal long bones (femori and humeri) in 30 cases with induced abortion were measured utilizing ultrasound from different angles and /or at different directions. The values measured from different sections and angles with vernier calipers were compared prenatally and postnatally. Results There was no apparent difference between the pre-induced abortion and those of the post-induced abortion. The results in the 30 cases showed that: (1) the values measured from anterior 90 degree, the long bone length would best match with the bare long bone length up to 96.7%, the match rate of other angles and/or directions was up to 80%; (2) no apparent statistical difference was between the length of left and right bone and no difference was found using 4 different directions and 3 different angles; (3)there was no difference between the left and right femuri and humeri.Conclusions Though the measured value from anterior 90 degree direction was the most accurate one, the statistical analtical results showed no difference among 12 values measured from 3 different angles and/or 4 different directions.

Objective To investigate the status of diabetes in fasting state on different therapies.Methods 244 type 2 diabetic patients were divided into four groups according to different insulins:60 for insulin pump group(A),64 cases for insulin glargine group(B),59 cases for microinjection pump group(C),61 cases for isophane insulin suspension group.Then the time when blood glucose was up to standard,the usage of insulin and the rate of hypoglycemia were abserved.Results A group was(2.89 ± 1.32)d on the time when blood glucose was up to standard,B group was(3.14 ±1.25)d,C group was(4.91 ±2.81)d and D group was(5.62 ±2.52)d.There were significant differences between A and other groups( P ＜ 0.05 ) on time.There were significant differences between B and C group,B and D group,but there was no difference between C and D group.A group was(30.61 ±2.21) IU/don the usage of insulin,B group was ( 31.12 ± 3.38 ) IU/d,C group was ( 42.25 ± 4.01 ) IU/d and D group was (44.31 ±3.22)IU/d.There were significant differences between A and C group,A and D group,B and C group,B and D group(P ＜0.05)on usage of insulin,but there were no differences between A and B group,C and D group.A group was 3.3％ on the rate of hypoglycemia,B group was 4.7％,C group was 15.2％ and D group was 16.4％.There were significant differences between A and C group,A and D group,B and C group,B and D group ( all P ＜ 0.05 ) on usage of insulin,but there were no differences between A and B group,C and D group.Conclusion Compared to other insulin therapies,insulin pump had obviously superiority,which could be generalized to diabetics in fasting state.
