BACKGROUND:Studies have found that peripheral blood stem cel s can highly differentiate into vascular endothelial cel s to promote blood vessel regeneration, and improve col ateral circulation, thereby achieving satisfactory outcomes in the treatment of limb ischemia. OBJECTIVE:To observe the clinical effect in diabetic lower extremity vascular disease patients undergoing percutaneous transluminal angioplasty combined with autologous peripheral blood stem cel transplantation. METHODS:Fifty patients hospitalized for diabetic lower extremity vascular disease from March in 2011 to December in 2014 were col ected:25 cases underwent percutaneous transluminal angioplasty as control group;another 25 underwent percutaneous transluminal angioplasty combined with autologous peripheral blood stem cel transplantation as combination group. At 1, 6, 12 months after surgery, subjective scores of affected limb pain and cold sensation were recorded, additional y, objective indicators, including ankle-brachial index, transcutaneous oxygen partial pressure, and claudication distance were detected. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Ankle-brachial index scores of the two groups were significantly increased, especial y at 1 month after surgery, but decreased at 6, 12 months, and there was a significant difference compared with that before treatment (P<0.05);at 1, 6, and 12 months, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). At 1, 6, and 12 months after surgery, both of transcutaneous oxygen partial pressure and claudication distance in the two groups were significantly increased compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). Furthermore, compared with the control group, these two indicators in the combination group were significantly increased (P<0.05). Within 12-month follow-up, affected limb pain and cold sensation were improved in the two groups, especial y in the combination group. Inevitably, three cases had hypocalcemia during the col ection of peripheral blood stem cel s, and two cases developed fever and 3 cases appeared to have local exudation after surgery. All these symptoms were released by symptomatic treatments, respectively. In conclusion, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty combined with autologous peripheral blood stem cel transplantation for diabetic lower extremity vascular lesions can promote the establishment of affected limb col ateral circulation, to decrease the risk of limb ischemia, which achieves significant outcomes than percutaneous transluminal angioplasty used alone.

Background:Cytapheresis has been used gradually in the treatment of ulcerative colitis( UC),however, its efficacy is still controversial. Aims:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of cytapheresis on UC. Methods:PubMed, Embase,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wanfang and VIP database were retrieved to collect the randomized controlled trials( RCTs)using cytapheresis for UC. Article selection, data extraction and quality evaluation were conducted independently by two reviewers. Meta-analysis was conducted by using RevMan 5. 3 software. Results:A total of 20 RCTs involving 1 354 UC patients were included. The results of the meta-analysis showed that cytapheresis was superior to conventional therapy or sham procedure in inducing clinical response(RR=1. 36,95% CI:1. 20-1. 55,P﹤0. 000 01), clinical remission(RR=1. 38,95% CI:1. 15-1. 66,P=0. 000 5)and maintenance of remission(RR=2. 92,95% CI:1. 40-6. 08,P=0. 004 ),and no differences in adverse events were found( RR =0. 37,95% CI:0. 11-1. 24,P =0. 110). Conclusions:Cytapheresis has porfound effect on induction of clinical response, clinical remission and maintenance of remission, and is safe as well. However, the conclusion should be verified by more large-scale and multi-center RCTs.

The effect of addition nucleotides on heparinase production by Flavobacterium heparinum was reseached. The result indicated that addition of nucleotides cause different effects on heparinase production depend on its addi ng mode, single kind of nucleotide would restrain, but multiplex promote. The s trongest promotion happened when the propotion of nucleotides was consistent wit h the nucleic acids of heparinase mRNA. HPLC result confined the entrance of nu cleoides to the bactera cell. And it also suggested the synthesis metabolic of nucleic acids in F.heparinum was imbalance, there always be higher lever of purin nucleoides. L-Asp was added to medium culture to enhance pyridine nucle oides thynesis in order to improve the enzyme production ,which has been affecte d by the imbalance of nucleoides.

An experiment was conducted using cultivated Glycyrrhiza uralensis in age of one year to study the effects of abscisic acid (ABA) on chemical components content and color of G. uralensis. By using different concentrations of ABA spraying on leaves, the change of the chemical component content was analyzed within 45 d after ABA stimulation, and the effects on quality were studied combined with colorimetric analysis data. It turned out that in some sense the content of glycyrrhizic acid and liquiritin had increased within 45 d, especially for liquiritin. After high concentrations of ABA (3.96 mg · L(-1)) stimulating, the content of glycyrrhizic acid rose 52% while liquiritin up 392% within 30 d. Then they both showed a decline in the content of glycyrrhizic acid and liquiritin on 45 d. Color index values of a* and b* were all significantly higher than that of the control group within 45 d, which meant the color of powders turned toward red and yellow. The conclusion was that ABA (3.96 mg · L(-1)) stimulating could not only improve the quality in the traditional sense through the color of G. uralensis, but also in the modern sense by improving the content of glycyrrhizic acid and liquiritin.
