Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the changes of plasma vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) and glucagon (Glu) in congestive heart failure and its clinical significance. Methods The levels of plasma VIP and Glu were measured with radioimmunoassay in 40 patients with congestive heart failure, including 15 patients with cardiac function in degree Ⅰ, 25 cases with cardiac function in degree ⅡⅣ, and 23 normal children who were served as controls. Results The levels of plasma VIP and Glu increased than that in normal control group[(43.22?5 48) ng/L vs(32.24?4.46) ng/L, P

To study the quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) between the stuctures of 29 flavonoids and the inhibitory activity of their multidrug resistance-associated protein (MRP) 1 and 2 by using the comparative molecular similarity index analysis (CoMSIA). By studying the impact of the combination of different molecular force fields, researchers obtained the molecular force fields that played an important role in inhibiting the activity of MRP1 and MRP2, built the optimized QSAR model, and discussed the structural modification method for flavonoids' multidrug resistance-associated protein inhibitor. The results of the study could not only provide the guidance for new drug R&D, but also help partially discuss the synergy mechanism between MRP1 and MRP2 receptors and traditional Chinese medicines containing flavonoids.

Objective To establish a multiple regression equation of long delayed recall of the amnestic mild cognitive impairment,in order to predict the scores. Methods 248 old people were investigated by convenience sampling.Auditory verbal learning test (AVLT) was used to evaluate the ability of memory of the old people, and their general demographic data were collected.Multivariate linear regression analysis was conducted, the regression model was established and AVLT-long delayed recall scores (N5) to the predicted value got from the 3 times scores of study stage scores (N1,N2,N3) and short delayed recall (N4) of Auditory Verbal Learning Test were compared. Results The multiple linear regression equation between the variables was established. There was no significant difference between N5 and the predicted value. Conclusions N2,N3,N4 could be used to predict N5 during screening of amnestic mild cognitive impairment to make the screening process faster and briefer. When the score ≤4 points, the screening continues,if the score >5 points, the screening ceases in order to improve the efficiency of screening.

Objective To study the feasibility and results of laparoscopic anatomical liver resection for hepatolithiasis. Methods A retrospective study was conducted based on the clinical data of 103 patients who underwent laparoscopic anatomical liver resection from June 2007 to July 2013.Results Total laparoscopic anatomical liver resection was successfully carried out in 97 patients. The mean operation time was 225.5 minutes, the blood loss was 50 ~ 1 000 ml and the mean postoperative hospital stay was 11.4 days.Postoperative complications included bile leakage (n =18),abdominal cavity infection (n =3),pulmonary infection (n =4),wound seroma (n =3),right hepatic duct injury (n =1).There was no perioperative death. Conclusion Laparoscopic anatomical liver resection for hepatolithiasis is a feasible, practical, and minimally invasive procedure.

Objective To evaluate the safety and feasibility of laparoscopic right hemi-hepatectomy for hepatolithiasis. Methods The clinical data of 3 patients who underwent laparoscopic right hemi-hepatectomy were analyzed retrospectively. Results In 2 patients the operation was performed successfully. The operative time was 340 min and 300 min,and the intraoperative blood loss was 800 ml and 400 ml.There was no need for blood transfusion. There was a small amount of bile leakage (30-60 ml/day) in these 2 patients. The postoperative hospital stay was 9 d and 11 d.The third patient was converted to open surgery because of profuse bleeding. All the 3 patients recovered well from surgery. Conclusions Total laparoscopic right hemi-hepatectomy for hepatolithiasis was safe and feasible.
