Objective To investigate the effect of Fangjifulingtang on preventing proliferation of glomerular mesangial cells and the expression of PAI-1, so as to provide experimental evidence for Fangjifulingtang to cure chronic kidney disease. Method Glomerular mesangial cells were cultured and TNF-? was used as a stimulation to make the cells proliferate. Then Fangjifulingtang was incubated together at different doses. Cell vitality were evaluated and qualified by MTT. Cell period were analysed by Flow CytoMeter (FCM). Secretion of PAI-1 expression was measured by ELISA. Results The proliferation of Glomerular mesangial cells was inhibited (P

All patients received combination chemotherapy of abdomen and vein with CAP regime and TP regime after sections.Results:Total five year survival rates were 11% in epithelial ovarian carcinoma in stage Ⅲ. The 1-.3-.5-year survival rates of the cases which had less than 4 cycles of chemotherapy were lower than those ≥6 cycles, and the recurrent rates were higher than those ≥6 cycles. The 1-.3-.5-year survival rates of TP regime were higher than those of CAP regime,and the recurrent rates were lower than those CAP regime.Conclusions:There are many relationships between prognosis and residual tumor, nucmber of chemotherapy cycles or regime after resection,which influence results of recurrent ovarian cancer after repeated tumorectomy.

Objective:To observe the difference of results of treadmill exercise test (TET) between male smokers and non-smokers .Methods:A total of 200 men with long-term smoking ≥20 cigarette per day were screened from outpatients and treated as smoking group .Another 200 men with similar age ,who didn’ t smoke at all ,were regarded as non-smoking control group (control group) .There were no medical history for hypertension ,hyperlipidemia ,diabetes ,and were nega-tive for electrocardiography and color echocardiography (exclude left ventricular hypertrophy etc .organic heart disease) in two groups .TET results and incidence rate of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) within two years were compared between two groups .Results:Compared with control group ,there were significant rise in TET positive rate (37. 5% vs .57. 5% , P<0.001) and incidence rate of AMI (8.5% vs .17.5% ,P=0.007) within two years in smoking group .Conclusion:Risk of suffering from coronary artery disease is more high in smokers among men .

Objective To evaluate the test-retest reliability and validity of the 3-dimensional Digital Goniometer for Cervical (3DDGC) in measurement of cervical range of motion. Methods 39 healthy participants were measured of cervical range of motion 2 times in 1 hour with 3DDGC by one observer, and with cervical range of motion (CROM) device once. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) of test-retest and the Pearson correlation coefficient between devices were caculated. The measurement errors were evaluated with standard er-ror of mean (SEM). Results The ICC was 0.89 of 3DDGC as the cervical rotation to the left, and it was 0.90-0.98 of the other directions, with the SEM of 2.07-3.85° . The Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.73-0.92, with the SEM of 1.66-3.17° . Conclusion 3DDGC is valid and reliable in test-retest in measuring cervical range of motion, which need more research clinically.

Objective Using 16S rRNA gene sequencing as the gold standard method,to compare the performance of two matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry system (MALDI Biotyper and VITEK MS) for identifying clinical isolates of Streptococcus spp.Methods One hundred and sixty two clinical Streptococcus isolates were collected at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University,from April to June,2014,and confirmed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis.MALDI Biotyper and VITEK MS mass spectrometry system were used for identification and further evaluated by performance respectively.Results Of all the isolates tested,155 (155/162,95.68％) Streptococcus isolates were accurately identified to species level by MALDI Biotyper.Besides,MALDI Biotyper identified three Streptococcus mitis group as S.pneumoniae and one S.parasanguinis as S.australis.Another three S.pneumonia isolates were not identified accurately (values ＜ 1.7).Although 156 (156/162,96.30％) isolates were accurately identified to species level (including subspecies) by VITEK MS system,two S.pneumoniae as S.mitis/S.oralis and one S.euinus as S.infantarius ssp.infantarius were misidentified.The two systems showed a 100％ (51/51) accuracy in identifying all S.pyogenes and S.agalactiae isolates,and an accuracy higher than 85％ for S.pneumoniae.Conclusions Both systems showed potent identification ability for Streptococcus spp.,VITEK MS system showed more clinical significance in accurately identifying some subspecies.Mass spectrometry system can be used as a rapid identification method for Streptococcs spp.in clinical practice.

OBJECTIVE: To develop a column-switching high-performance liquid chromatographic method for the determination of morphine and O6-monoacetylmorphine in urine. METHODS: Urine samples (1.0 ml) were spiked with 1.0 ml borate buffer, after centrifugation, 1.0 ml of supernate were injected directly into an extraction column (YWG C18 33 mm x 5.0 mm, 10 microns). After a washing step with the extraction mobile phase, the retained morphine and O6-monoacetylmorphine were flushed into the analytical column (Lichrospher 100 CN 125 mm x 4.0 mm, 5 microns) with the mobile phase CH3OH-H2O (60:40). The analytical mobile phase is CH3OH-phosphate buffer (pH6.86) (22:78). The UV detector was set at lambda 286 nm. RESULTS: The method shows excellent linearity from 50 to 1,600 ng/ml for morphine and from 100 to 1,600 ng/ml for O6-monoacetylmorphine. The linear correlation coefficients were > 0.999. The relative standard deviations were < 4%. The limits of detection were 40 ng/ml for both morphine and O6-monoacetylmorphine. CONCLUSION The method described is sensitive, rapid, reproducible, and simple.
