Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(04):-
Objective To properly choose and employ an air disinfect-purifying machine in ICU. Method This paper analyses the principle of air disinfect-purifying machine and put forward some attention-deserved problems such as the value of CADR in clinical application. Conclusion. The disinfect-purifying machine with different CADR value should be chosen according to the area of air disinfect-purifying district, thus can really bring the machine into full play.
2.Effects of trauma and infection stresses on protein metabolism
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(03):-
Trauma and infection may cause a stress reaction to the body, which leads to the metabolic imbalance of organs and tissues, but some treatment methods can effectively reduce the negative effects of undesirable stress on body metabolism. This article focuses on the effects of trauma and infection stress on the protein metabolism, furthermore, introduces some related treatment methods.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(04):-
Objective To study changes of?-glutamyltransferase(GGT)and its isoenzyme in urine and renal cortex of rats with subacute cadmium exposure. Methods Sixty healthy SD male rats were chosen and divided randomly into control group, middle dose group and high dose group, which were orally dosed daily with feed containing0,5and10mg cadmium per kg for six weeks. The activities of GGT and its isoenzyme in urine and renal cortex of the rats were determined in the3rd and6th week respectively.Re sults During the whole experimental period, the body weights and kidney to body weight ratios of control group, middle dose group and high dose group showed no significant differences. The GGT activities of middle dose group and high dose group increased significantly with the prolongation of exposure to cadmium and the increase of cumulative exposure compared with those in the control group.Unusual bands of GGT isoenzyme in the urine and renal cortex homogenate were found in the3rd week and the incidence of unusual bands of GGT isoenzyme was100percent in the6th week in the cadmium-treated rats of middle dose group and high dose group.Con clusion The GGT activities and the unusual bands of GGT isoen-zymes in the urine and renal cortex could be used as sensitive indexes to identify the renal toxic effects induced by cadmium.

Chinese Journal of Nephrology 1997;0(05):-
Objective To evaluate the renal involvement and therapeutic effect on ANCA-associated vasculitis(ASV) . Methods Fifty-six cases were diagnosed as ASV from Oct 1997 to Mar 2001. Among them, 21 cases received renal biopsies. According to disease activity and severity, Use following treatment protocols were choosed: (1) double pulse therapy; (2) single pulse therapy; (3) oral prednisone and/or low dose of CTX; (4) blood purification technique and/or immunosuppressive therapy. Remission rate was also analyzed. Results 96. 4% of case suffered with renal involvement. 91. 1% with acute renal failure, 96.4% with severe renal failure, 98. 2% with multiple organs involvement. The mortality was 19. 6% and the remission rate 67. 9%. 12. 5% of cases lost follow-up. ConclusionsRenal involvement is common and serious in ASV patients. Individualized and early therapy, as well as valuable urgent renal biopsy are necessary. To those who have entered ESRD, immunosuppressive agents could be used to decrease the extra-renal complication.

International Eye Science 2015;(2):292-294
AlM: To compare the effects of external approach microsurgery and conventional external approach surgery for retinal detachment ( RD) .METHODS: From January 2010 to January 2013, 60 patients (60 eyes) in our hospital were randomly divided into experimental group (29 cases, 29 eyes) and control group ( 31 cases, 31 eyes ) , the external approach microsurgery and conventional external approach surgery were performed respectively ( by the same skilled doctor ) . Retinal reattachment rate, visual acuity improvement rate and operative time were compared between two groups.RESULTS:lt cost shorter time for the external approach microsurgery than that of conventional external approach surgery ( P = 0. 0087 ). The once successful retinal reattachment rate in experimental group was 93% ( 27 cases ) , which was higher than that in control group (90%, 28 cases), there was no statistical difference. The vision improvement rate in control group was 86% ( 25 cases ) , compare to 90% ( 28 cases ) in experimental group, there was no statistical differences. CONCLUSlON: No statistical differences showed in visual acuity improvement and the once retinal reattachment rate between the two groups for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. However, it is believed that external approach microsurgery could be faster, easier to learn with satisfactory effect.

Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the biosynthesis of arbutin by suspension culture of crown gall of transgenic Panax quinquefolium. Methods Hydroquinone in methanol(60 mg/mL) was added to the medium of the crown gall of P.quinquefolium after precultured for 20 d,then they were co-cultured for another 60 h.The product was isolated and purified by column chromatography and its structure was identified by physicochemical properties and spectroscopic data. The dynamic curve of biotransformation was investigated by quantative analysis of arbutin with HPLC.Results The product could be obtained from both of the culture and medium, which was isolated and elucidated as 4-hydroxyphenyl-?-D-glucopyranoside(arbutin).After co-cultured for 60 h,the mole conversion ratio of hydroquinone is 88.4%,the product contents in culture and medium are 63.69 mg/flask and 1.86 mg/flask,respectively,and the excretion ratio of arbutin reaches the highest(2.92%).Conclusion It's the first time around the world that the crown gall of transgenic P.quinquefolium is used as a biotransformation system and arbutin which shows varied pharmacological activites have been got successfully.

Objective To investigate the difference of the protein expression in serum of rats with acute edematous pancreatitis (AEP) and acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP),and to investigate serum marker for acute pancreatitis severity. Methods The model of AEP and ANP was induced by retrograde injection of 4% or 5% sodium taurocholate into the biliopancreatic duct.Weak cation exchange (WCX2) and surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry ( SELDI TOF MS) was used to investigate the difference of the protein expression in serum of rats with AEP and ANP.Results Thirty-eight spectral peak clusters which had significantly different signal intensities between AEP and ANP sera at mass charge ratio between 1000-50 000(P <0.05) were detected. The peak clusters at 9500 and 9700 in the sera of AEP were higher than that in ANP rata. Conclusions Serum analysis with SELDI-TOF MS can detect the difference of the protein expression in rats with AEP and ANP.The decreased expression of the protein of molecular weight of 9500 and 9700 may be a signal of AEP transition into ANP.

Objective To investigate the underlying mutation in a late-onset Chinese patient with classic Bartter syndrome. Methods The mutation analysis of CLCNKB gene was performed by the PCR direct sequencing. The patient's parents and siblings were studied as well. Fifty normal volunteers were analyzed as control group. Results The heterozygous deletion mutation cDNA 753delG and heterozygous missense mutation G433E were detected in the patient. Her father was found to carry heterozygous G433E and her mother to carry cDNA 753delG mutation respectively. Her brother carried heterozygous G433E and her sister was normal. Conclusions Two mutations of the CLCNKB gene in this Chinese patient with late-onset classic Bartter syndrome are identified. The cDNA 753delG mutation has not been reported previously.
