Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(01):-
In this paper, intelligent control of ultrasonic power during the process of thrombus ablation is realized through the combination of BP Neural Network and the expert system of ultrasonic thrombus ablation. One proper real-time power can be output correspondingly to different treatment circumstance according to expert ruler during the process of treatment.
2.SITE-DIRECTED MUTAGENESIS OF TSR1 GENE IN YEAST YARROWIA LIPOLYTICA
Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
The TSR1(thermosensitive rescued)gene associated with the secretion of proteins of the yeast Yarrowia lipolytica was site-directed mutagenesis, restricted and spliced to obtain a series of deletion mutants. These mutants would be useful for studing the function of different domains of TSR1 gene in yeast Yarrowia lipolytica

Objective: To investigate the effect of chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) on liver injury and the expression of fractalkine in rats and explore its possible mechanism.
Methods: A CIH murine model was established to mimic the pathophysiology of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) in humans. Thirty healthy male Spraque-Dawley rats were randomly assigned to 3 groups: a 5% CIH group, a 5% CIH+RH (removal of hypoxia) group and a control group ( 10 rats in each group). The 5% CIH and 5% CIH+RH groups were exposed to CIH for 3 weeks, 8 h/d, and the frequency of hypoxia was 20 times/h. The 5% CIH+RH group was then exposed to normal gaseous environment for another 3 weeks. After the experiment, liver sections were stained with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) and the liver pathology was observed. The expression of fractalkine in the liver tissues was detected by immunohistochemical method.
Results: 1) Compared with the control group, the hepatic steatosis and inflammatory activities in the 5% CIH and 5% CIH+RH groups were more severe (allP<0.01 ); compared with the 5% CIH group, the hepatic steatosis and inflammatory activity in the 5% CIH+RH group were dramatically reduced (P<0.01 ). 2) Compared with the control group, the fractalkine expression in the 5%CIH and 5% CIH+RH groups was increased (bothP<0.01). The fractalkine expression in the 5% CIH+RH group was dramatically downregulated compared with that in the 5% CIH group (P<0.01).
Conclusion: CIH can induce liver injury and high fractalkine expression in rat liver tissues.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
A novel nucleic acid amplification method, termed loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP),which amplifies DNA with high specificity, efficiency, and rapidity under isothermal conditions, may be a valuable tool for the rapid detection of infectious diseases. This method employs a DNA polymerase that have activity of strand displacement DNA synthesis and a set of four specially designed primers that recognize a total of six distinct sequences on the target DNA.LAMP can amplify a few copies of DNA to 109 in less than an hour. The final products are stem-loop DNA with several inverted repeats of the target and cauliflower-like structures with multiple loops.A positive reaction would be shown as a ladder-like pattern in a gel electrophoresis analysis.Because of the advantage, the LAMP method will be widely applied to research of nucleic acid, clinical diagnosis of infectious diseases and detection of genetically modified organisms etc.

Microbiology 2008;0(11):-
Antimicrobial peptides are a class of small peptides with anti-extrogenous pathogen activities. They are derived from organism and possess antibacterial, antifungus, antiviruses and anticancer cell actions. In recent years,it’s found that some microbial pathogens are able to resist antimicrobial peptides. The constitutive and inducible mechanism of a pathogen resists a given peptide were reviewed in this paper.

Objective:To explore the effects of cysteine-rich 6 1 (Cyr6 1 )on biological behavior of human adenoid cystic carcinoma ACC-LM and ACC2 cells. Methods:The chemically synthesized Cyr6 1-siRNA was transfected into ACC-LM and ACC2 cells.Cell proliferation was measured by the MTT method, the invasive ability was evaluated by Transwell chamber assay, and cell apoptosis was analyzed using flow cytometry by double staining with Annexin V and propidium iodide.Results:Cyr61-siRNA significantly down-regu-lated Cyr61 protein expression in ACC-LMand ACC2 cells.Cyr61-siRNA markedly inhibited the proliferation and invasion of the cells, however, there was no significant difference in cell apoptosis between Cyr6 1-siRNA and control groups.Conclusion:Cyr6 1 promote the proliferation and invasion of adenoid cystic cancer cells.

Objective:To explore the effect of siRNA targeting myeloid cell leukemia-1(Mcl-1)on the biological behavior of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cells. Methods:The chemically synthesized Mcl-1-siRNA was transfected into salivary adenoid cystic carci-noma SACC-2 cells. The expression levels of Mcl-1-mRNA and Mcl-1protein were examined by Real-time PCR and western blotting respectively.MTT assay, transwell chamber and flow cytometry were used to determine the effect of Mcl-1-siRNA on SACC-2 cell pro-liferation,migration and apoptosis. Results:Compared with the control group, liposome group and NC-siRNA group,SACC-2 cell proliferation rate of Mcl-1-siRNA group was obviously slowed down.48 h after transfection, the migration of SACC-2 cells in Mcl-1-siRNA group(39 ±9.0)were lower than that in control group(69 ±6.0).The apoptosis rate of Mcl-1-siRNA group(8.6%)was sig-nificantly higher than that in control group(1.9%).Conclusion:Silence Mcl-1 can inhibit cell proliferation and migration and pro-mote apoptosis of salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cells.
