1.SALL4 and hematologic neoplasms
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(1):64-66
SALL4 gene is closely related to body malformations related diseases, embryonic stem cell development, and hematopoietic malignancies. SALL4 can activate hematopoietic stem cell through Wnt signaling pathways, and promote continued proliferation of leukemia stem cells, leading to leukemia. In-depth study of SALL4 gene and its protein function will help clarify the pathogenesis of leukemia, providing a new target for the treatment of leukemia.

Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(06):-
Currently, medical ethics education is well popularized, yet not popular among medical students, interns or clinical doctors, for which its formalistic teaching content and mode are to blame. To realize its real educative effects, infiltrating medical ethics into the ideological perception among medical students, interns and clinical doctors, besides horizontal expansion in education popularity, more emphasis should be put to grasping and instructing the essence of medical ethics on a vertical level in order to make the recognition of medical ethics education as common sense among medical professionals.
5.Screening and preliminary research of an actinomyces strain with antitumor effect
Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(02):-
The apoptosis was observed under a fluoroscope when the tested tumor cells were treated with the supernatant derived from the liquid culture of an actinomyces strain AK 11, which had showed cell toxicity by means of MTT assay, and was further confirmed by the correspondent band of ”DNA ladder” in the agarose gel electrophoresis. In a bioassay employed nude mouse, the pure compound produced by the strain AK 11 showed tumor inhibition in rates of 52.01% and 33.64% corresponding to the dosages of 0.016 ?g?kg -1 and 0.008 ?g?kg -1 ip, respectively. According to the indexes IC 50 of human hepatocarcinoma SMMC7721 and stomach cancer MGC 803 cells, it was estimated that the inhibition effect of the pure compound was slightly stronger than that of Adriamycin. The results showed high antitumor effect of the tested compound from the strain AK 11. When the cells were treated with AK 11, it was found by flow cytometry analysis that cell division was ceased at S phase due to the DNA synthesis block .

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2010;26(23):54-56
Objective To identify the influencing factors for pediatric nursese' reporting of adverse events at 3A hospitals in Beijing. Methods Adopting the random sampling of ten 3A hospitals with pediatric wards in Beijing and conducting an questionnaire survey of some nurses in those hospitals. Results The possibility of adverse events reporting increased with the awareness of adverse events which was related with their severity. Except for title, educational background, length of service, position and past experiences were not associated with the barriers. The major perceived barrier was fear of colleague relationship brokenup and some other undesirable consequence. Conclusions Better training of awareness of adverse events and changes of the punitive culture by the roots as well as some regulation or policy were the major solutions to improve incident reporting.

Objective To assess examinational methods of Multi-slice CT(MSCT)in diagnosis of palatine lesions. Methods 28 cases were performed MSCT examination with the conventional method, extending -tongue method,colliding-tongue method and pronouncing method. All images were reconstructed by means of multiplana reconstruction (MPR) and CT virtual endoscope (CTVE). Results Correct diagnosis were obtained through the complementarity of the methods. Conclusion Reasonable examination methods of MSCT is apt to display palatine lesions.
9. Protective effects of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Carthamus tinctorius active ingredients in different compatibility on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2018;49(16):3875-3881
Objective To explore the protective effects of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Carthamus tinctorius active ingredients in different compatibility on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. Methods Adult male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were selected to establish a cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury model by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) method. The rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, model group, and positive control group (Danhong Injection 2 mL/kg); And orthogonal test method L9(34) was adopted to compose nine compatibility groups from main active ingredients of S. miltiorrhiza and C. tinctorius (trashinol, salvianolic acid A, salvianolic acid B, and HYSA). Rats were tail iv administrated once daily for continuous 3 d. Score neurological deficit was evaluated after 3 d; qRT-PCR was used to detect mRNA expression of glucose regulated protein 78 (GRP-78), nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interleukin-6 (IL-6); HE staining was used to detect the pathological changes of cerebral cortex, and the expression of NF-κB p65 protein in cerebral cortex was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results Compared to the model group, Danhong Injection group and orthogonal compatibility nine groups significantly reduced the neurological deficit scores of rats with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion; increased the mRNA expression of GRP-78 in the cerebral cortex; decrease the mRNA expression of NF-κB, CHOP, TNF-α, and IL-6, and decrease the protein expression of NF-κB p65 in the cerebral cortex. The results also showed that the protective effects of the 4th group (danshensu 30 mg/kg, salvianolic acid A 2.5 mg/kg, salvianolic acid B 16 mg/kg, and HYSA 8 mg/kg), 6th group (trashinol 30 mg/kg, salvianolic acid A 10 mg/kg, salvianolic acid B 8 mg/kg, and HYSA 4 mg/kg) in the 9th group were more significant for cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury in rats. Conclusion The active components of S. miltiorrhiza and C. tinctorius can play a good protective role in endoplasmic reticulum stress and inflammation in rats with cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(17):2397-2399
OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of paclitaxel or 5-fluorouracil combined with nadaplatin in the treatment of advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC). METHODS:42 patients with advanced NPC were randomly divided into observation group and control group(n=21). 2 groups of patients were treated with radiotherapy. Observation group received che-motherapy of paclitaxel(135 mg/m2,d1)and nedaplatin(80 mg/m2,d 2-4);control group received chemotherapy of 5-fluoroura-cil(500 mg/m2,d1-5)and nedaplatin(80 mg/m2,d1-3);a treatment course lasted for 3 weeks, and both groups received 2 courses of treatment. Clinical efficacy, survival rate and ADR were observed in 2 groups. RESULTS:The overall response rate was 95.2%in observation group and 90.5% in control group, with no significant difference between 2 groups (P>0.05). The 3-year overall survival rate and progression-free survival rate were 81.0% and 71.4% in observation group and 76.2% and 66.6% in control group, with no significant difference(P>0.05). The incidence of nausea and vomiting in observation group were lower than in con-trol group, while the incidence of oral mucosa inflammation was higher than control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The chemoradiotherapy of paclitaxel or 5-fluorouracil combined with nadaplatin have similar therapeutic efficacy for advanced NPC. ADR by chemoradiotherapy should be monitored closely and treated timely.
