Objective To study the clinicopathological characteristics of complicated Kaposi's sarcoma after renal transplantation. Methods Five cases of complicated Kaposi's sarcoma after kidney transplantation were studied by histopathological immunohistochemical and ultrastructural observations. Results Of the 5 Kaposi's sarcoma patients,2 had multiple amaranthine dermal plaques starting on the legs, one had lymph node hypertrophy all over the body, and others had inguinal lymph node and adenoid hypertrophy. Histopathologically, these angiomatous lesions had characteristic areas of spindle cells within which erythrocytes were enmeshed.Admixed in these lesions were hyaline bodies and hemosider-laden,phagocytic cells.Immunohistochemical and ultrastructural studies revealed that this tumor was derived from vasofomative mesenchyme with multipotential capabilities. It was found that the epithelia and spindle cells were positive for Vimentin,CD-31,CD-34 and Ⅷ-RAg.Conclusion Complicated Kaposi's sarcoma after kidney transplantation can be diagnosed by combination of clinical manifestations and histopathological examinations with immunohistochemical and ultrastructural observations.

Microbiology 1992;0(01):-
Lipopeptides produced by Bacillus subtilis JA antagonized a broad spectrum of fungal pathogens. Crude lipopeptides were extracted with methanol from the precipitate which was obtained by adding 6 mol/L HCl to the cell-free culture broth. The crude extract was run on Diamonsil C_(18)column(5?m,250 mm?4.6 mm) in reverse phase HPLC system to purify the lipopeptides.Inhibitory ability and IC_(50)values of lipopeptides towards various microorganisms were determined by agar diffusion method. The results showed lipopeptides exhibited strong inhibitory activity against some important plant pathogenic fungi, including R.solani and F.oxysporum.The ability of B.subtilis JA to antagonize against the growth of the post-harvest pathogen -B,cinerea was tested in vitro.Spore germination of B.cinerea was strongly inhibited in the presence of JA cell suspension.Furthermore,B.subtilis JA can produce antifungal volatiles which strongly inhibited the spore germination and mycelial growth of B.cinerea.As a biocontrol agent, the synergic effect of lipopeptides and volatiles may play a major role in controlling the pathogens by B.subtilis JA.

Objective To reveal evolution characteristics and antigenic epitope variabilities of hemagglutinin (HA) gene of H3N2 viruses in Guangdong during 2014-2015.Methods The HA gene nucleotide sequence of influenza H3N2 virus isolated during 2014-2015 in Guangdong Province was selected by spatial-temporal distribution. The HA gene nucleotide sequences were compared with global HA genes downloaded from GenBank and GISAID and the gene nucleotide mutations were analyzed. The phylogenetic tree and the entropy chart were conducted. Results Compared with HA gene of vaccine strain A/Texas/50/2012,the substitutions of 25 amino acid sites occurred in the HA gene of the 17 Guangdong strains during 2014 to 2015.The epitope A,B,D and E of the HA1 gene developed mutations, which involved 11 amino acid sites. One glycosylation site deletion occurred in A/Guangdong/ 55/2015 in virtue of the N38K site mutation. The high mutation site was at 175 with entropy value of 1.16.The 363 site might be the positive selection while the 368 and 425 sites might be the negative selection sites by comprehensive evaluation of the screening results of the single likelihood ancestor countincy (SLAC),fixed effects likelihood (FEL) and internal fixed-effects likelihood (IFEL) model. Conclusions The mutations emerge in the epitopes A,B,D and E of HA gene of the Guangdong H3N2 stains.Evolution at 363 site is positive selection while those at 368 and 425 sites are negative selection. The mutation accumulation might lead to the epidemic of influenza H3N2.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(6):561-564
The modern literatures on the diseases treated with acupuncture at Shenmen (HT 7) were collected. Using literature statistical analysis in bibliometrics, the common compatibility of Shenmen (HT 7) and the disease spectrum were analyzed so as to provide the references of the diseases that can be treated with acupuncture at Shenmen (HT 7). It was found that 39 kinds of diseases and symptoms, mainly nerve system disedses, could be treated with acupuncture at Shenmen (HT 7), including insomnia, depression, anxiety and dementia. Shenmen (HT 7) was seldom used alone. Instead, it was commonly used along with Baihui (GV 20), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Neiguan (PC 6), Sishencong (EX-HN 1) and Taicong (LR 3).

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2002;27(1):60-62
OBJECTIVETo study the scientific evidence of the traditional preparation of Dachengqi: "Boiling Aurantii Immaturus and Magnoliae Officinalis first, and then adding Rhei to decoct together. Discarding the dregs, adding Natrii Sulfas into the decoction and drinking the upper solution when the Natrii Sulfas has dissolved completely".
METHODThe concentrations of free and combined anthraquinonoids(emodin, rhein, chrysophanol, physcion) in different decoctions were determined with HPLC method respectively.
RESULTWhen Natrii Sulfas, Aurantii Immaturus and Magnolias Officinalis are decocted with Rhei in different schemes, the concentrations of anthraquinonoids were changed regularly.
CONCLUSIONThe scientific evidence of traditional preparation method greatly increased the concentrations of the active components in Dachengqi.

Objective To analyze the clinicopathologic features of mucinous cervical adenocarcinoma (ADC) and supply some reference for its diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. Methods Totally 88 cases with primary mucinous ADC diagnosed between January 2003 and December 2007 in Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital were retrieved.Their clinical and pathological data were reviewed and analyzed. Results Among 88 patients,70 cases of them were endocervical ADC,11 cases were minimal deviation adenocarcinoma (MDA),2 cases were intestinal subtype and 5 cases were villoglandular ADC.The positive rate of cervical Pap smear cytology was only 28% (10/36).There were 10 cases were performed several times of cervical Pap smear cytology test and biopsies, while still no abnormality was found.Finally,7 cases of them were diagnosed by cervical excisional biopsy and endocervical curettage, including 5 cases with endocervical ADC and 2 cases with MDA; 2 cases (1 case with stage Ⅰ b1 endocervical ADC and 1 case with Ⅰ b1 MDA) were diagnosed by cold knife conization, and 1 case with stage Ⅰ b1 endocervical were diagnosed by uteroscopically directed biopsy. The overall 5-year survival rate was 60.0%.Using univariate analysis results showed that age (P =0.046),stage (P =0.007),tumor size (P =0.007) and therapeutic methods (P =0.009) were significant prognostic factors.Multivariate analysis showed that therapeutic methods was an independent predictor for survival (P =0.013).Stage Ⅱ b-Ⅲ b MDA patients occupied 7/11 of all MDA patient, while there was only one such patient of 5 cases with villoglandular ADC.The overall HPV infection rate was 65% (57/88),and there was no obvious differences about the HPV infection rates among different types of mucinous ADC.Conclusions Cervical smear cytology is of little significance to the diagnosis of mucinous cervical adenocarcinoma.Early stage mucinous ADC is difficult to be detected, especially for MDA.Cervical excisional biopsy, endocervical curettage, cold knife conization, uteroscope are beneficial to its diagnosis.Therapeutic methods is an important prognostic factor for mucinous ADC and comprehensive treatment should be given to those patients with risky postsurgical factors.
