orrect knowledge about the benign biological behavior of the ovarian GTS and reasonable therapeutic regimen can have the disease ends with good prognosis.

Objective To investigate the role of Glial cells missing 2 (Gcm2) in pathogenesis of hypoparathyroidism by knocking out Gcm2 gene in adult mice.Methods Tamoxifen was used to induce conditional knock-out of Gcm2 gene in Gcm2E2fl/flCre-ER mice.Genotypes of knock-out mice were identified by PCR.The protein expression level of Gcm2 was measured by Western blotting.The serum calcium and phosphorus were detected by the calcium and phosphorus assay kits, and the serum parathyroid hormone (PTH) level was detected by ELISA.Parathyroid cell proliferation was tested by Ki-67 immunohistochemical assay.The mRNA expression levels of PTH and calcium sensing receptor (CaSR) were detected by Real-time PCR.Bone mineral density was detected by micro CT.Results Gcm2 gene of parathyroid was confirmed to be knocked out by PCR.Compared with wild type and solvent control groups, Gcm2 knock-out group showed markedly lower protein expression of Gcm2, notably higher serum phosphorus and lower serum calcium and PTH concentrations (all P<0.01).The proliferation of parathyroid cells in Gcm2 knock-out mice were significantly higher(both P<0.01).The mRNA levels of PTH and CaSR in parathyroid gland of the knock-out group were significantly reduced (all P<0.01).Bone mineral density was significantly higher in Gcm2 knock-out group (all P<0.01).Conclusion Knockout of Gcm2 can lead to hypoparathyroidism in adult mice, indicating that Gcm2 is probably a therapeutic target for hypoparathyroidism.

ObjectiveTo explore the clinical and pathological characteristics in diagnosing the renal diseases with diffuse glomerular nodular changes. MethodsThe clinical and pathological data of 127 patients whose renal pathological feature was mainly diffuse glomerular nodular changes were retrospectively analyzed. ResultsThe most common diagnosis was diabetic nephropathy and renal amyloidosis, and sometimes light chain deposit diseases and Mix cryoglobulinemia. ConclusionDiffuse glomerular nodular changes occurred in many diseases. We should make differential diagnosis based on the clinical symptoms, the results of laboratory examinations and the renal pathological characteristics.

Objective To observe the impact of transplant nephrectomy on panel reactive antibodies and a secondary renal transplantation.Methods Panel reactive antibodies in 15 patients with a failed renal transplant admitted in our hospital between 2004 to 2007 were measured before transplantation,before and 1 month,6 months,12 months after transplant nephrectomy,and the pathological changes were observed after transplant nephrectomy.Results Panel reactive antibodies was increasing after renal transplantation,and reached the highest level one month after transplant nephrectomy,then grandually got down.New HLA allosensitization sites were discovered after transplant nephrectomy.Large amount of C4d was stained in failed transplant.Conclusion Serum PRA increased after transplant nephrectomy.New HLA allosensitization sites were found,which may be useful in HLA matching.

To observe the curative effect of treating small -incision cataract extraction by intraocular lens implantation combined with trabeculectomy for primary angle-closure glaucoma with cataract.
●METHODS: Totally 44 cases (52 eyes) of primary angle-closure glaucoma combined with cataract were selected to undergo the combined surgery, in order to observe the patients' pre - and postoperative eyesights, intraocular pressures and the postoperative complications.
●RESULTS: The postoperative eyesight was improved significantly as compared with the preoperative eyesight. The intraocular pressure was declined dramatically. The result was of statistical significance (P<0. 05). All the 52 cases' surgeries were performed by the same surgeon. The surgeries were processed smoothly, with 6 postoperative eyes of anterior chamber inflammation cell response, 3 eyes of anterior chamber fibrinoid exudate, 2 eyes of shallow anterior chamber through mydriasis and treatment with glucocorticoids and non - steroidal eyedrops before absorption, and no complications like malignant glaucoma, cyclodialysis, etc. were reported through mydriasis and pressure bandaging before recovery.
● CONCLUSlON: Treating the primary angle - closure glaucoma combined with cataract through the combined surgery has high reliability and desirable curative effect. The surgical method is simple to learn and applicable for promotion on the basic level.

Colorectal cancer is a common malignant tumor in the gastrointestinal tract, with the characteristics of high morbidity and mortality. Studies have shown that the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer is closely related to the abnormal activation of Wnt signaling pathway. Abnormal expression of β-catenin in Wnt pathway is found both in the cytoplasm and nucleus of tumor cells. Different drugs can target the Wnt signaling pathway and its upstream and downstream related factors to inhibit or suppress the development of colorectal cancer. We review the components of Wnt signaling pathway, and the correlation between Wnt signaling pathway and colorectal cancer. Then, we summarize the current status of drug research targeting the Wnt signaling pathway in colorectal cancer. Finally, the challenges and prospects of these methods and drugs were briefly summarized.

Objective:To evaluate the surgical corrective results of maxillary hypoplasia in patients with cleft lip and palate withtranspalatal modified Le Fort Ⅰ osteotomy.Methods:In the study,1 1 patients (4 women,and 7 men)with maxillary hypoplasia secondary to cleft lip and palate underwent transpalatal modified Le Fort Ⅰ osteotomy at Peking University School of Stomatology from Jan.201 2 to Dec.201 3, with the mean age of 21 years (from 1 8 to 27 years),Bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO) and genioplasty were performed simultaneously in 9 of them for better appearance and functional occlu-sion.Lateral cephalometric radiographs were taken and traced before surgery,immediately after surgery and 6 months after surgery.The position of subspinale (A)on horizontal direction,the angle of sella-na-sion-subsipmale (SNA)and the angle of sella-nasion-supramental (SNB)were collected and analyzed to evaluate the results.Results:All the patients were uneventful with transpalatal modified Le Fort Ⅰosteotomy.All of them had a better profile and a satisfactory occlusionafter operation.The position of A was moved forward (6.6 ±1 .1 )mm on average in horizontal direction when surgery was completed,and maintained (6.0 ±1 .2)mm on average 6 months after surgery.The average of SNA was 75.9°±2.8° before surgery,81 .6°±8.6°immediately after surgery,and maintained 81 .0°±2.6°6 months after sur-gery.The average of SNB was 82.6°±3.7°before surgery,78.0°±2.4°immediately after surgery,and maintained 78.5°±2.4°6 months after surgery.Conclusion:The maxillary hypoplasia in cleft lip and palate patients can be successfully corrected with transpalatal modified Le Fort Ⅰ osteotomy and the func-tional occlusion can be achieved simultaneously.The effect of deformity correction was satisfactory. Transpalatal modified Le Fort Ⅰ osteotomy can move maxilla more sufficiently,especially applicable for the patient with severe palatal scars preoperatively.

Lycii Cortex, a popular herb medicine in traditional Chinese medicine, is used to treat different inflammation-related diseases. The aim of our work is to find the key constituents inhibiting NF-kappaB, a key regulator of inflammation. In the investigations of cell-based in vitro assays of extracts, we found that both ethyl acetate extract and methanol extract of Lycii Cortex inhibited the TNF-alpha-induced activation of NF-kappaB. Through bioassay-guided fractionation, we identified 4 phenolic amides including trans-N-(p-coumaroyl) tyramine (1), trans-N-feruloyltyramine (2), trans-N-caffeoyltyramine (3), and dihydro-N-caffeoyltyramine (4). Four phenolic amides showed differently inhibitory activities on TNF-alpha-induced NF-kappaB activation. Trans-N-caffeoyltyramine (3) was identified as the key component with an IC50 of 18.41 micromol x L(-1). It was suggested that the hydroxyl group at C-3 in trans-N-caffeoyltyramine might be a key binding site and its C-7,8-double bond might play an important role on NF-kappaB inhibitory activities as the link of the conjugation of pi electrons leading to a partial planar conformation. It might be inferred that the biological activity of compound 3 is attributed to the structure of Michael reaction acceptor containing alpha, beta-unsaturated ketones and benzene along with hydroxyl group in o-diphenol.

Objective To study the value of MR diffusion tensor imaging(DTI) in the staging of chronic kidney disease(CKD).Method MR diffusion tensor imaging was used on 26 CKD patients.All patients were diagnosed as CKD according to the criteria of clinical diagnostic.All MR images achieved diagnostic requirements.Diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid(99mTc-DTPA) renal dynamic imaging was used to determine the unilateral renal function.CKD patients were determined as mildly renal impairment group and moderately to severely renal impairment group based on the glomerular filtration rate(GFR).Twenty healthy volunteers underwent DTI at the same time.The cortical and medullary ADC value and FA value were measured in all subjects who underwent conventional MRI and DTI.The paired Student's t test was used to compare the cortico-medullary difference of the mean ADC and FA values in all subjects.The oneway analysis of variance(ANOVA) was carried out to assess the difference among the medullary and cortical diffusion parameters(ADC,FA) of all the three groups,and LSD was used to assess multiple comparisons.The correlation of GFR and ADC value of the patients,and FA value of the patients were tested by Pearson correlation analysis.Results The cortical and medullary ADC values of 46 subjects were(2.25±0.25) × 10-3 and(2.10±0.20) × 10-3 mm2/s respectively,FA of them were(3.48±0.61) and(4.27±0.75) respectively(t =6.754,10.043 respectively; P＜0.01).The cortical ADC values of volunteers,mild renal impairment group,severely renal impairment group were(2.25±0.22) ×10-3,(2.31±0.19) ×103,(2.18±0.32) ×10-3mm2/s respectively.The medullary ADC value of the three groups were(2.09±0.19) × 10-3,(2.17±0.17) × 10-3,(2.06±0.24) × 10-3mm2/s respectively(F=0.968,0.882 respectively; P＞0.05).The cortical FA values of the three groups were 3.85± 0.47,3.18±0.62,3.20±0.52 respectively.The medullary FA of the three groups were 4.92±0.38,3.93±0.57,3.62 ± 0.53(F=8.725,33.705 respectively; P＜0.01).There was no correlation between cortical ADC,medullary ADC,cortical FA of the patients and GFR [(30.14±15.79) ml· min-1 · 1.73 m-2](r =0.243,0.197,0.196 respectively; P＞0.05).There was a positive correlation between medullary FA of the patients and GFR (r=0.556,P=0.003).Conclusion FA value has certain value in evaluating CKD early diagnosis and renal function.
