Bacterial disinfectant resistance is the phenomenon that minimal inhibitory concentration or minimal bactericidal concentration of a certain disinfectant increases after a certain bacterium contacts with it many times. It exists widespread. Many species of bacteria are may resistant to a certain disinfectant, and a species of bacterium is may resistant to many disinfectant Disinfectant selectivity pressure is the extrinsic agent of bacterial disinfectant resistance. Resistance mechanisms include bacterial biochemistry structure, genetics pathway and enzymology pathway. There is relationship in disinfectant resistance and drug resistance. We should strengthen study and monitoring, enact unified standard and application specification to reduce bacterial disinfectant resistance.

5.Effect of acupoint-injection of oxymatrine on experimental hepatic carcinoma and study on the mechanism.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of acupoint injection of oxymatrine (OM) on experimental hepatocellular carcinoma and the mechanism.
METHODSThe rats of hepatocellular carcinoma induced by 2-acetoaminoflurence (2-AAF) were randomly divided into a normal control group (group N), a model group (group M), a control group of oxymatrine intraperitoneal injection (OM ip group) and a treatment group of small dose oxymatrine injection into Zusanli (OM ZSL group). At the end of 12h week, the serum levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and gamma-glutamyl transferase (gamma-GT) were determined. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to detect the expressions of cyclin D1 and cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) mRNA in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues.
RESULTSThe number of cancer nodes on the surface of liver in th Om ip group and the Om ZSL group was lower than in the group M, with the serum ALT, AST, and gamma-GT levels significantly decreased (P<0. 01), and significantly inhibited expressions of cyclin D1, CDK4 mRNA (P<0. 01).
CONCLUSIONOM ip and small dose oxymatrine injection into ZSL can treat or delay hepatocarcinogenisis of hepatocellular carcinoma induced by 2-AAF. Partial mechanism of this anti-carcinoma is protecting hepatocytes possibly through improving hepatic functions, and inhibiting excessive proliferation of liver cancer cells via inhibiting the expressions of cyclin Dl, CDK4 mRNA.

6.Effect of hydrogen-saline on lung injury and heme oxygenase-1 expression in the lung tissue of acute paraquat-intoxicated mice.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effect of Hydrogen-saline on Lung Injury and HO-1 Expression in The Lung Tissue of Acute Paraquat-intoxicated mice.
METHODS108 male clean-grade mice were divided randomly into 3 groups: normal control group (n = 8), PQ group (n = 50) and PQ HN group (n = 50), PQ group were lavaged with 20% PQ (50 mg/kg). PQ+Hyclrogen saline group were intxaperitoneal injected with 5 ml/kg saturated hydragen saline after lavaged, 2 times/d. We observe its performance after the poisoning, The lung tissue were taken to HE stained, MDA and SOD activity of lung tissue homogenate were detected, HO-1 activity were observed by immunohistochemistry and western method at 6 h, 1 d, 3 d, 7 d and 14 d.
RESULTSmice came to shortness of breath, exhaustion and death after poisoned. PQ+hydrogen saline group was more alleviative than PQ group. The lung MDA of PQ group was markedly increased at 6 h and 24 h and SOD was decreased at 6 h, 24 h, 3 d, 7 d, 14 d than normal control group. In Comparison with PQ group, the lung MDA was decreased at 24 h and SOD was increased at 24 h and 3 d (P < 0.05). HO-1 expression trend and distribution in PQ+hydrogen saline group are similar with PQ group, but were significantly higher than that of PQ group and the control group each time point (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONOxidative stress plays important roles in lung injury caused by paraquat. Hydrogen-saline may increase expression of HO-1 and alleviate oxidative stress damage in lung.

7.Proliferation and differentiation of endogenous neural stem cells in subventricular zone in rats after traumatic craniocerebral injury.

OBJECTIVETo observe the time course of proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells (NSCs) in the subventricular zone (SVZ) of rats following traumatic craniocerebral injury (TBI).
METHODSForty-eight SD rats were randomized into 3 groups, namely the control group without any treatment, the sham-operated group with scalp incision and preparation of a cranial window, and TBI group with craniocerebral injury induced by Feeney's method. With nestin and BrdU as two cell markers, NSE as the neuron-specific marker and GFAP as the glial cell marker, immunofluorescence assay with double labeled antibodies was performed to examine the proliferation and differentiation of endogenous NSCs in the SVZ at different time points after TBI.
RESULTSs The numbers of cells positive for nestin/NSE, nestin/GFAP, BrdU/NSE, and BrdU/GFAP in the SVZ of the rats increased significantly after TBI. The positive cells began to increase at 1 day after TBI, reached the peak level at day 3 and became normal at day 14, showing significant differences between the time points of measurement following TBI and from the cell numbers in the control group measured at the same time points. The cells positive for nestin/ GFAP showed the most distinct increase in the SVZ of the rats with TBI.
CONCLUSIONTBI results in mobilization of the NSCs in the SVZ on the injured side to cause the proliferation and differentiation of the endogenous NSCs. The SVZ is one of the most important germinal centers of NSC proliferation and differentiation.

8.Diagnostic utility of S100A1, GLUT-1 and Caveolin-1 in renal tumors with oncocytic features: a comparative study.

OBJECTIVETo study the immunohistochemical expression of S100A1, GLUT-1 and Cavolin-1 and its diagnostic significance in renal tumors with oncocytic features.
METHODSTissue microarray and immunohistochemical staining for S100A1, GLUT-1 and Cavolin-1 were carried out in 59 cases of renal tumors with oncocytic features, including 19 cases of renal oncocytoma, 15 cases of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC) with eosinophilic cells, 11 cases of eosinophilic variant of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, 7 cases of oncocytic papillary renal cell carcinoma and 7 cases of epithelioid angiomyolipoma.
RESULTSS100A1 was expressed in renal oncocytoma, with a positive propotion of 16/19 (including 14 cases showing widespread and strong positivity). On the other hand, the rate of expression of S100A1 was 2/11 in eosinophilic variant of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, 10/15 in CCRCC with eosinophilic cells, 3/7 in oncocytic papillary renal cell carcinoma and 6/7 in epithelioid angiomyolipoma (P>0.05). The difference of S100A1 expression between renal oncocytoma and eosinophilic variant of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma was statistically significant. GLUT-1 was located in cell membrane, with a positive rate of 13/15 in CCRCC with eosinophilic cells, 7/19 in renal oncocytoma, 4/7 (weak) in oncocytic papillary renal cell carcinoma, 1/11 in eosinophilic variant of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma and 0/7 in epithelioid angiomyolipoma. The rate of expression of Cav-1 was 6/15 in CCRCC with eosinophilic cells, 2/7 in oncocytic papillary renal cell carcinoma, 5/7 in epithelioid angiomyolipoma, 2/11 (weak) in eosinophilic variant of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma and 0/19 in renal oncocytoma. S100A1 showed high sensitivity and 50% specificity in the diagnosis of renal oncocytoma. GLUT-1 and Cav-1 showed high specificity and sensitivity in the diagnosis of CCRCC and epithelioid angiomyolipoma.
CONCLUSIONSS100A1 is widely expressed in various oncocytic renal neoplasms and helpful in differential diagnosis of renal oncocytoma from eosinophilic variant of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma, but not from other 3 oncocytic renal tumors. Overexpression of GLUT-1 can be used in distinction between CCRCC and renal oncocytoma. Cav-1 is widely expressed in CCRCC and epithelioid angiomyolipoma but not in renal oncocytoma. Cav-1 expression thus rules out renal oncocytoma.

9.Correlation of quality of life of Children with type 1 diabetes between their patents′coping and parenting style

Objective To analyze the correlation of quality of life of children with type 1 diabetes and their patents′coping and parenting style.Methods A total of 67 children with type 1 diabetes and their parents were recruited from 6 Third Class A hospitals and 2 Third Class-B hospitals in Fujian province by convenience sampling method. Diabetes specific quality of life scale, coping style questionnaire and EMBU were used. Results The total score of diabetes specific quality of life was(54.64±14.21). The sorting of each dimension′s ratio was psychology, therapy, society, physiology from high to low. All parents adopted coping style of solving problem. Mothers′rationalization in coping style was positively correlated with overall quality of life and therapy dimension in children ( r=2. 191-2. 319, P<0. 05 ) . Fathers′ overprotection in parenting style was negatively correlated with therapy dimension in quality of life in children(r=-2.282,P<0.05). Mathers′ rationalization in coping style had predicted effect to overall quality of life and therapy dimension in children.Conclusions Parents should be sensible to accept and face the fact that children have type 1 diabetes. Reasonable coping style and avoiding overprotection positively impacted on quality of life of children with type 1 diabetes.
10.Prevalence of hypertension among " three minority ethnic groups" residents in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Objective To survey the current situation of hypertension among "three minority ethnic groups" in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.Methods Hypertension epidemiological survey among Three Minority Ethnic Groups and Han nationality aged ≥ 18 years was performed from June to December 2010.Results The prevalence rate of hypertension among the surveyed population was 29.4% (630/2 146) (standardized prevalence was 34.6%).The prevalence rate of hypertension in male was 33.8% (359/1 062) (standardized prevalence was 39.9%),and the prevalence rate in female was 25.0% (271/1 084) (standardized prevalence was 26.6%),and the prevalence rate in male was higher than in female (P < 0.01).The prevalence rate of hypertension for the Oroqen nationality,Ewenki nationality and Daur nationality was 33.8% (92/272),32.4% (170/524),and 30.2% (174/576) respectively (standardized prevalence was 33.7%,33.1%,and 3 1.3%),and which was significantly higher than in the Han nationality (25.1% (194/774),P < 0.01) (standardized prevalence was 25.8%).The awareness,treatment and control rate of hypertension in the Oroqen nationality residents was 64.1% (59/92),56.5% (52/92),27.2% (25/92) (standardized rate was 63.5%,56.8% and 27.4%),and 60.0% (102/170),53.5% (91/170),24.1% (41/170) (standardized rate was 62.9%,56.7%,26.6%) in the Ewenki nationality residents,and 59.2% (103/174),54.0% (94/174),20.7% (36/174) (standardized rate was 60.3%,54.7%,21.4%) in the Daur nationality residents,and 65.0% (126/194),57.7% (112/194),27.3% (53/194) (standardized rate was 63.3%,56.5%,27.1%) in the Han nationality residents.Awareness rate,treatment rate and control rate were similar among different nationalities (all P > 0.05).Conclusion The prevalence rate of hypertension among " three minority ethnic groups" residents in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is high and comprehensive prevention and therapy strategies are warranted to reduce the hypertension burden in these residents.
