Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2017;16(8):618-620
Clinical data of 448 patients aged ≥60 years with osteoporotic hip fractures admitted in Shanghai Huashan Hospital between January 2010 and December 2014 were retrospectively analyzed.Among 448 cases, there were 143 males and 305 females;196 cases aged 80-89 years (43.8%) and 137 cases aged 70-79 years (30.6%);304 cases of femoral neck fracture (67.9%) and 144 cases of intertrochanteric femoral fracture (32.1%);the fractures caused by fall in 328 cases (73.2%) and comorbidity with hypertension and diabetes mellitus in 415 cases (92.6%).Two hundred and sixty eight patients were followed up for 2 years, among whom re-fractures occurred in 17 cases. The study indicates that health education is important for prevention of osteoporotic fractures in elderly people.
2.Toll-like receptor 4 and human fibrotic diseases
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2009;29(7):873-876
Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), the natural receptor of lipopolysaccharide(LPS), plays an important role in the regulation of acute inflammation, intracellular signal transduction and cell apoptosis. TLR4 over expresses in both acute inflammation and fibrotic tissues, which suggests that TLR4 may be essential in acute inflammation and subsequent fibrosis. Nowadays, some progress has been made in the exploration of TLR4 in pathogenesis and treatment of liver cirrhosis and pulmonary fibrosis. TLR4 may become a new target in the treatment of human fibrotic diseases including liver cirrhosis and pulmonary fibrosis. The research status of TLR4 in human fibrotic diseases and its future development are reviewed in this paper.

Objective To establish a sensitive, rapid and simple high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the determination of amphotericin B (AraB) and itraconazole (ITZ) in human cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Methods Solid-phase extraction (SPE) was involved in sample preparation in this method, followed by reverse-phase separation under two different chromatographic systems. Results The tinearity for both AraB and ITZ ranged from 5 ng/mL to 100 ng/mL and the inter-day and intra-day RSD were both below 7.6% at the concentrations of 20,50 and 100 ng/mL. Conclusions The method we established has been applied to the therapeutic drug monitoring on cryptococcal-meningitis-infected patients who were given comedication of these two drugs.

Objective To research the relationship between the gene polymorphism of serum amyloid A protein(SAA)1 and coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods By using PCR-RFLP and sequencing, the gene polymorphism of SAA1 of 183 patients with coronary heart disease and 152 healthy controls were analyzed.Result In the both groups 3 alleles(1.1,1.3,1.5)and 6 genotypes(1.1/1.1,1.1/1.5,1.1/1.3,1.3/1.3,1.3/1.5 and 1.5/1.5)were found. The frequency of 1.5 allele in healthy controls group was notably higher than that in CHD group(P

Objective:To analyze the equity of health resource allocation in village-level medical institution in China, thus to provide the basis for formulating relevant health resources allocation policy. Methods:Using Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient, the rationality and equity of allocation of village health resources in China were evalua-ted by the equity of population distribution and the equity of geographical distribution. Results:The Gini coefficient of village health workers and health institutions was 0.19 and 0.20 respectively according to population distribu-tion,and was 0.65 and 0.63 respectively according to geographical distribution. The Gini coefficient's difference of village-level health resources in the eastern, central and western regions was small according to population distri-bution,but the difference was larger according to geographical distribution among different areas. Conclusion:The equity of village-level health resource allocation in China was preferable according to population distribution, but the equity according to geographic distribution was poorer. The formulation of health policy should pay more atten-tion to the equity of geographic distribution and allocate rationally.

Objective: To observe the therapeutic action of earth enteral nutrition after jejunum interposition in patients with carcinoma of gastric cardia. Methods: Sixty-two patients after jejunum interposition were divided into early enteral nutrition group(n=33) and parenteral alimentation group(n=29).The clinical observation index and nutrition index were compared between the two groups. Results: The enteral nutrition group had more advantages than the parenteral alimentation group in the aspects of clinical observation index postoperative complication and nutrition index. Conclusion: Early enteral nutrition could improve gastrointestinal function and nutritional state and decrease the incidence rate of postoperative complication.

Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(8):810-812
Objective We studied the clinical features and its significance of coal worker's pneumoconiosis combined with sleep apnea Methods In 40 patients with coal worker's pneumoconiosis combined with sleep apnea hospitalized from February 2006 to December 2009, polysomnography ( PSG) , blood routine, urine routine, blood pressure and biochemical indicators were measured and analyzed. Results Patients with coal worker' s pneumoconiosis combined with sleep apnea manifested mainly as duplicate hypoxemia and multi-organ dysfunction: high blood pressure, dysfunction of heart, lung and kidney, increase of serum glucose, blood lipids, blood uric acid and finally led a vicious cycle to aggravate the above mentioned damage. Conclusions In clinical, multiple-organ dysfunction resulted from severe hypoxemia and hypercapnia caused by coal worker's pneumoconiosis combined with sleep apnea, should be fully aware and give ational and effective treatment early to reverse or delay the further function damages of multiple organs, and therefore significantly improve the prognosis.

Objective To observe the effects of the re-therapeutic on later stage of sudden deafness. Methods Patients who met the criteria for sudden deafness and showed poor response tO conventional therapy over two months were recruited and assigned randomly for re-therapy.The pure tone audiometry was conducted before and after re-treatment in 103 patients(112 ears).Sodium bicarbonate and dexamethasone were iniected by intravenous drip for two days and batroxobin 5 BU for 6 days.Statistics were made in the effecency of the re-treatment.Results The effective rate of re-treatment group was 46.43% and the difference was significant before and after retreatment(P<0.01).Conclusion Combined use of sodium bicarbonate dexamethasone and batroxobin is effective in re-treating later sudden deafness.

AIM: To investigate the expression and functional role of p38MAPK in the kidney after unilateral ureteral obstruction in rats. METHODS: Unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) models were induced by ligating the left ureter. Rats were sacrificed at 1 h, 3 h, 6 h, 12 h, 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days after UUO was initiated. p38MAPK activity was assayed by immunohistochemical staining and specific substrate phosphorylation with immunoprecipitation and Western blotting. TGF? mRNA and protein expression were analyzed with in situ hybridization and immunohistochemical stainning. RESULTS: A basic p38MAPK activity was detectable in the normal kidney(0.22?0.06). p38MAPK pathway was rapidly activated at 1 hour(0.45?0.14 vs control, P
