This article stated the status,major problems and methods in medical professional English teaching.The effective ways might be by means of training teachers,writing suitable textbooks,providing professional English speaking environment and improving model of teaching.

Objective To observe the delayed brain myelination of children with phenylketonuria(PKU)combined with epilepsia,and explore effectiveness of the treatment and provide an objective criteria for patient recovering evaluation.Methods There were 42 PKU patients,aged 3 to 72 months were selected.The concentration of phenylalanine tested by high pressure liquid chromatography was greater than 1.2 mmol/L in blood,diagnosed as PKU.According to electroencephalogram and clinical symptom,21 cases were diagnosed as epilepsy,the other 21 cases were used as control group.All patients were taken MRI before treatment.Myelination in 10 sections(cerebellum,pons,mesencephalon,internal capsule posterior limb,corpus callosum,internal capsule anterior limb,occipital lobe,parietal lobe,temporal lobe,frontal lobe)were evaluated.Results Delayed myelinations were located mainly in the cerebral lobes and corpus callosum,average delayed incidence of the 10 region was 44.8% in epilepsy group and 30.9% in control group.The incidence of the corpus callsum was 80.9% in epilepsy group,52.4% in control group,the number of sections of delayed myelination showed statistically significant between 2 groups(P

Objective To investigate the value of perfusion CT in the evaluation of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma.Methods Sixty-seven patients with Ib2-IIb squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix underwent CT perfusion imaging before neoadjuvant chemotherapy to measure blood flow (BF),blood volume (BV),peak time (MTT),permeability sur-face (PMB),perfusion time to peak (TTP)and MIP(HU);and underwent routine enhancement CT after the two course of neoadju-vant chemotherapy treatment to measure tumor size,and evaluate the therapeutic effect.Results Among 67 patients,48 patents were effective (2 completely remission and 46 partial remission),and 1 9 patients were ineffective (1 5 stable and 4 progressed),with the overall response rate of 71.6%.The differences of PMB and BV value between effective and ineffective group were statistically significant before neoadjuvant chemotherapy (P <0.001).The BF,MTT,TTP value were no significant difference between effec-tive and ineffective group before neoadjuvant chemotherapy (P >0.05).The BV and PMB value were relatively higher in the patients with effective chemotherapy.Conclusion CT perfusion imaging could measure the BV and PMB value of the tumor before neoadju-vant chemotherapy to provide the basis for treatment selection.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the clinical efficacy of cannulated screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction for the treatment of Sanders II, III calcaneal fracture.

METHODSFrom January 2012 to January 2014, 19 patients with Sanders II, III calcaneal fracture were treated with cannulated screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction. There were 14 males and 5 females, ranging in age from 19 to 58 years old, with an average age of (38.3 +/- 4.1) years old. The changes of Bohler angle and Gissane angle were measured and compared preoperatively and postoperatively to observe the recovery of the articular surface. The Maryland Foot Score was used to evaluate operation outcomes.

RESULTSAll the patients were followed up, and the duration ranged from 12 to 28 months with a mean of (22.3 +/- 5.3) months. The Bohler angle and Gissane angle were improved significantly after operation compared with those before operation (P < 0.05). The Maryland score was 83.2 +/- 8.4.

CONCLUSIONTreatment of calcaneal fractures with screw fixation with percutaneous Poking reduction has several advantages such as satisfactory outcome,less damage, fewer complications, quicker recovery, and shorter hospital stay,and it is one of the effective treatments for Sanders II and III calcaneal fractures.

Objective To investigate the knowledge,attitude and behavior of medical staffs on foodborne diseases.Methods To investigate the knowledge,attitude and behavior of medical staffs on foodborne diseases by random sampling following the questionnaire.Results There were 332 medical workers attending the survey.The medical staffs were lack of knowledge for foodborne disease,percent of pass was 34.33％.The pass rate of attitude and behavior were 88.88％ and 98.19％.The knowledge score of medical staff of top three hospital (6.49± 2.18)were lower than the community health service center(7.04±2.26) (P＜0.05),but attitude and behavior score of this two staffs had not statistical differences(P＞0.05).Conclusion It is necessary to help medical staff to improve the attitude of foodborne diseases,and improve the monitoring of underreporting case.

Objective To investigate the expression of glucocorticoid receptor(GR), GR? mRNA and GR? mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC)of patients with multiple sclerosis(MS) and healthy controls and investigate the relationship between GR protein, GR? mRNA, GR? mRNA and intravenous injection methylprednisolone(IVMP)effect.Methods GR in PBMC was measured by radioligand assays in 20 patients with relapsing-remitting MS(RRMS), 6 with the second progressive MS (SPMS)and 26 healthy controls.Semi-quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)was used to detect the expression of GR? mRNA and GR? mRNA in PBMC of patients with MS and healthy controls.The effect of IVMP was evaluated by the expanded disability status scale(EDSS). ObjectiveThe clinical features, bacteria distribution and antibiotic resistance proifle of blood stream infection(BSI) were investigated in the patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis for better management of such infections.MethodsThe clinical data of BSI were collected in the patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis between January, 2012 and December, 2014, and reviewed retrospectively in terms of risk factors, diagnosis and treatment, pathogen distribution and prognosis.ResultsOf the 1 071 patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis and suspected bacterial infection, 154 (14.4%) were diagnosed as BSI evidenced by blood culture. Of these patients, the leukocyte count in the peripheral blood was higher than 10×109/L in only 48 (31.2%) patients; neutrophil proportion>0.75 in 133 patients (86.4%); serum procalcitonin level>0.5 ng/mL in 74 patients (68.5%). A total of 155 bacterial strains were isolated, including 115 strains of gram-negative bacilli and 40 strains of gram-positive cocci. Most patients (68.8%) recovered and 31.2% died or discharged from hospital voluntarily. All these BSI patients had Child-Pugh grade C liver function. Some patients also had other serious systemic diseases or repeated hospitalization.ConclusionThe prevalence of BSI is high in the decompensated liver cirrhosis patients with poor prognosis. Gram-negative bacilli are the major pathogens of such septicemia. Early diagnosis and proper use of antibiotics based on antimicrobial susceptibility testing are important to improve patient outcome.
