A cardiac stimulator for rapid atrial pacing animal model was designed in this paper. According to the needs of clinical research, output pulse parameters of the cardiac stimulator can be designed. The cardiac stimulator will be controlled through magnet. Efficiency of the cardiac stimulator was validated by animal experiments.

Objective To realize the actuality and analyze the problem of the hospital medicine preparation in Beijing,then to discuss its developing methods.Methods By summarizing questionnaire of the hospital medicine preparation and combining with the problem showed in daily supervision,we analyzed the main existing problems and reasons for hospital medicine preparation and put forward the developing methods.Results The main existing problems of hospital preparation are the decreasing variety of medicine preparation,insufficient infrastructure and software.Conclusion Therefore we should enhance the input on the infrastructure,set up the software,improve the quality of the staff,and consummate the regulation means and system.

Objective To investigate the effect of jejunal infusion of amino acids on secretion of gastrointestinal hormone in healthy dogs.Methods Six healthy adult dogs were treated with jejunal fistulas and femoral vein intubation.Twenty-four hours after the operation,solution of 8 different amino acid monomers (experimental group) or normal saline (control group) were infused into the jejunum of the dogs every 24hours.The levels of cholecystokinin (CCK),motilin,and gastrin in the peripheral plasma were measured using radioimmunoassay at the start of infusion (0 minute),and 30,60,90,and 120 minutes after infusion.Results Compared with the control group,the serum CCK level in the phenylalanine group was significantly higher 30 and 60 minutes after infusion [(1.25 ±0.19) ng/L vs.(0.66 ±0.14) ng/L,(1.23 ±0.12) ng/L vs.(0.80 ± 0.03) ng/L,both P ＜ 0.01],while that in the tryptophan group was significantly higher 30 minutes after infusion [(1.08 ±0.26) ng/L vs.(0.66 ±0.14) rig/L,P ＜0.01].The other measurement results showed no statistically significant differences.Conclusions Jejunal infusion of phenylalanine or tryptophan may stimulate the secretion of gastrointestinal hormone to some extent.Aromatic amino acids (phenylalanine and tryptophan) is more potent in triggering the release of CCK than aliphatic (leucine,isoleucine,and methionine) and charged amino acids (aspartic acid,arginine,and glutamate).The mechanism may be related to the properties of the amino acids.

Objective To evaluate three internal fixation methods in treatment of type C3 fractures of distal humerus.Methods From February 2002 to January 2005,73 cases of humeral intercondylar fractures were treated with single plating (Group A,21 cases),Y-shape plating (Group B,33 eases) and dual plating (Group C,19 cases).According to the AO/ASIF classification,73 cases belonged to type C3.The posterior midline incision and the approach of liguliform flap of musculus triceps brachii were used for all the cases.The recorded clinical data were reviewed to analyze effects of internal fixation methods,functions of the elbow and the complications.Results All the cases were followed up.The follow-ups ranged from 12 to 36 months,with an average of 22.3 months.By the end of the twelfth month,according to the Jupiter scoring system,the elhow function was excellent and good in 57.1% of cases in Group A,81.8% in Group B and 89.5% in Group C,the difference between Gronp A and Groups B and C being statistically significant(P＜0.05).Meanwhile,according to Sodergard's criteria for failure of internal fixation system for intercondylar fracture of humerus,the failure rate was 33.3% in Group A,15,2% in Group B and 5.3% in Group C.The loosening or breakage rate in Group C was significantly lower than in Groups A and B (P＜0.05),and that in Group B was obviously lower than in Group A (P＜0.05).No incision necrosis or deep infection occurred.Conclusions The type C3 fractures of distal humerus should not he treated with single plating,because the functional outcome of elbow joint is poor,and the rate of loosening or breakage of internal fixation is higher than other fixation methods.Y-shape plating and dual plating are good for them,but Y-shape plating is not good for severe intercondytar comminnted fractures of the humerus,because its peculiar shape tends to lead to a higher rate of loosening.

AIM: To observe and study the influence of cardiac sympathetic nerve on QT dispersion (QTd) and the circadian variations of QTd in experimental rabbits. METHODS: The rabbits were divided into experimental group (without cardiac sympathetic control by operation) and control group (with retained cardiac sympathetic control by operation, sham operation). Objective To investigate the clinical significance of detecting mammaglobin in sentinel lymph nodes(SLN) of breast cancer. Methods In 32 breast cancer patients, methylene blue was injected around parechyma of breast cancer to locate the SLNs, and nested RT PCR(reverse transcriptase polgmecane chain reaction) was used to examine the expression of mammaglobin mRNA.
