Objective To select indicators to evaluate operating efficiency of public hospital group .Meth-ods Application of Delphi to two rounds of expert consultation .Results The first round of expert consultation re-covery rate is 88%for six indicators have been deleted , modified the three indicators , an increase of four indicators;The second round of expert consultation recovery is 100%, preliminary screening 6 indexes of the first class , 20 inde-xes of the second class .Conclusion Because of the complexity of the structure of public hospital group , experts also has certain controversial for indicators , so further empirical research is needed .

Objective To explore the work value and its relation with vocational interest types among medical college students.Methods 352 medical college students were investigated by the Work Value Inventory and Medical Vocational Interest Inventory,and the results were analyzed statistically.Results The five highest scores of the work value items were 4.51±0.87,4.34±0.79,4.03±0.90,3.96±0.91,and 3.88±0.55,respectively.Among them,the factor of individual growth and development was the most important follows by the factor of compensation and reward,which had significant differences compared with the factor of social status and reputation included the five lowest scored items(P<0.01,P<0.05).There was no significant difference between male and female,while there were differences among students in various subjects and students with different occupational interest types.Conclusion The factor of individual growth and development is more important than other factors when medical student selecting vocation,and the vocational interest type has effect on the work value.

Objective To determine the efficiency of cervical length by transvaginal sonography combined with serum relaxin for predicting premature birth.Methods The study enrolled 280 single births primipara.Cervical length was measured by transvaginal sonography during mid-trimester and late-trimester of pregnancy.Serum relaxin was measured during mid-trimester of pregnancy,late-trimester of pregnancy and postpartum.Sensitivity of cervical length,serum relaxin and cervical length combined with serum relaxin were applied for predicting premature birth.Results The sensitivity of cervical length and serum relaxin during mid-trimester of pregnancy for predicting premature birth were 54.43％ and 57.72％,respectively.The sensitivity of cervical length and serum relaxin during late-trimester of pregnancy for predicting premature birth was 62.74％ and 66.49％,respectively.Sensitivity of cervical length and serum relaxin during late-trimester of pregnancy for predicting preterm birth were more satisfying than those during mid-trimester of pregnancy.The sensitivity of cervical length combined with serum relaxin for predicting premature birth were 70.76％ and 71.51％,which were obviously higher than those obtained using cervical length or serum relaxin alone.Conclusion The combination of cervical length and serum relaxin can significantly improve the sensitivity of predicting premature birth,which can diagnose premature birth early and exactly.

Objective To explore the efficacy of GM6001,tissue inhibitor expression and significance of matrix metalloproteinase?9(MMP?9)in mice model of oxygen?induced retinal neovascularization(RNV)and evaluate the inhibition effect of MMP?9 inhibitor(GM6001)on RNV. Meth?ods Mice were placed in oxygen boxes to establish oxygen?induced RNV animal models. The GM6001 treated or hyperxia control groups received an intravitreal injection of 1μL GM6001(100μmol/L)or PBS at day 11 after birth. The normal control and hyperxia group were not treated. HE staining was used to detect RNV in retinal whole mounts,the mRNA level and protein expression of MMP?9 were measured by RT?PCR,Western blot and immunohistochemistry,respectively. Results RNV in the GM6001 treated group was decreased significantly compared with the hyperxia group and hyperxia control group. Compared with the normal control group,higher protein and mRNA expression of MMP?9 were observed in the hy?perxia group and hyperxia control group. The expression of MMP?9 protein and mRNA were decreased in the GM6001 treated group compared with the hyperxia control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The abnormal expression of MMP?9 was closely correlated with RNV. The development of RNV can be markedly inhibited by MMP?9 inhibitor(GM6001),which,we believe,will provide new molecular targets and therapeutic strategy for retinopathy of prematurity treatment.

[Objective]To appraise the clinical effect of the cervical interbody fusion with PEEK cages after anterior decompression through disc space.[Method]Forty-five patients with cervical spondylosis or disc herniation were treated by using PEEK cages after anterior decompression.X-ray films were taken after operation to observe the stability,fusion rate and intervertebral disc height of the segments.The neural function was evaluated by JOA scoring system.[Result]All patients were followed up from 6 to 12 months.The operated segments were stable and height of disc space was reconstructed.Solid fusion was observed 6 months after operation.The improvement rate of neural function was 45%~100%,with an average of 84%.[Conclusion]The PEEK cage has the advantages of excellent biocompatibility,lower elastic modulus and radiolucence,which helps to reconstruct and maintain the intervertebral disc height and cervical lordosis effectively with satisfactory fusion rate.

[Objective]To discuss the diagnosis,treatments and the outcome of anterior spinal artery syndrome induced by cervical disc herniation.[Methods]Eighteen patients(male 13,female 5,average age 35.6 years old) were diagnozed to experience cervical disc herniation by MRI scans.All the patients presented with severe motor paralysis with loss of sensation to pain and temperature but sparing of proprioceptive sensation,which was just like the clinical features of anterior spinal artery syndrome.The average preoperative JOA score was 7.6 points,ranged from 4 to 10.Anterior cervical decompression with fusion was performed on 17 patients within 15 days.Spinal canal occupation was found in 1 case.Posterior approach treatment was not effective and anterior approach decompression was performed 1 year later.[Results]All these patients were followed up for an average of 15 months(12 to 24 months).Seventeen patients had a good outcome.The postoperative JOA score ranged from 7 to 15 points(13.4 in average) and the mean JOA recovery ratio was 61.7%.All the patients recovered with no complication.[Conclusion]A herniated cervical disc can compress the spinal anterior artery and involve with anterior spinal artery syndrome.It can be final diagnozed with clinical features and MRI scans.The outcome is satisfactory when an early and complete anterior decompression with fusion is performed.

Objective To observe the effects of prazosin on matrix metalloproteinase‐1(MMP‐1) and tissue inhibitor of met‐alloproteinase 1 (TIMP‐1) expression in atherosclerosis plaque of ApoE knock‐out(ApoE-/- ) mice model and to explore its anti‐atherosclerotic effect and mechanism .Methods Twenty‐four 8‐week‐old ApoE-/- mice were randomly divided into the normal diet group ,high‐fat diet group and prazosin group ,8 cases in each group .The normal diet group was fed by common fodder ,while the high fat group and prazosin group were fed by high fat diet ;on the basis of the high fat diet ,the prazosin group was started to con‐duct gavage of prazosin hydrochloride 1 mg/kg every day ,while the normal diet group and the high fat diet group were daily ga‐vaged by the same volume of normal saline .The abdominal aortic venous blood after 12 weeks in each group was collected for detec‐ting the blood lipid levels .The aorta arterial blood sample was collected for detecting MMP‐1 and TIMP‐1 expression levels by im‐munohistochemistry .Results Compared with the high fat diet group ,the levels of serum TG ,TC and LDL‐C in the prazosin group were significantly decreased ,and the HDL‐C level was increased ,the differences were statistically significant (P< 0 .01 or P<0 .05);the area of aorta arterial atherosclerotic plaque and intima thickness were significantly increased ,while prazosin could signif‐icantly inhibit the plaque formation and intima hyperplasia ;compared with the normal diet group ,the expression level of MMP‐1 protein in the high fat diet group and prazosin group was significantly increased ,while the TIMP‐1 protein expression level was de‐creased ,moreover the MMP‐1 protein expression level in the prazosin group was lower than that in the high fat diet group ,while the TIMP‐1 protein expression level was higher than that in the high fat diet group ,the differences were statistically significant (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Prazosin can decrease the level of TC and LDL‐C ,increase the HDL‐C level and has certain anti‐atherosclerotic effect ,its mechanism may be related with the decrease of the MMP‐1 level and the increase of the TIMP‐1 level in plaque .

BACKGROUND:High-incidence early acute reocculision and later restenosis following coronary artery stenting has been widely studied.Biodegradable material metal coated stent carrying paclitaxel,which can effectively inhibit restenosis,is promising for solving this problem.OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effects of paclitaxel containing degradable material [poly (L-lactide) (PLLA)/polyglyoolide(PGA)]on human umbilical arterial smooth muscle cells.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:The present controlled observational cytological experiment was performed at the Laboratory of Toxicity,College of Public Health,Jilin University between July 2003 and July 2005.MATERIALS:Paclitaxel (PLLA/PGA) (PLLA:PGA=9:1) was provided by the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry,China.METHODS:The primary human umbilical arterial smooth muscle cells were cultured for passage cells.Thereafter,passage cells were co-cultured with degradable materials containing different concentrations of paclitaxel (1,2,and 3 g).Mental stent and paclitaxel-free PLLA/PGA were used for controls.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:At 0,24,48,and 72 hours after culture,effects of degradable materials containing different concentrations of paclitaxel on smooth muscle cell growth were observed under a contrast microscope.RESULTS:Mental stent and paclitaxel-free PLLA/PGA had no influences on smooth muscle cell growth.Paclitaxel(PLLA/PGA) degradable material (1,2,and 3 paclitaxel) inhibited smooth muscle cell growth till 72 hours.There were significant differences between mental stent and paclitaxel-free PLLA/PGA and paxlitaxel(PLLA/PGA) groups (P＜0.01).CONCLUSION:Paclitaxel (PLLA/PGA) degradable material can be used as the intravascular stenting material for inhibiting smooth muscle cell growth.
