Objective To study the effect of methylmercury on the behavioral teratogenesis in filial r ats.Method Pregnant rats were injected intra-abdominally with 0 ,0.75,1.50,3.00 mg/kg methylmercury every other day, then early physiological fun ctions and behavioral functions of their filial rats were observed. Results The results indicated that when impregnated female ra ts were heavily exposed to methylmercury, early physiological development and be havioral development of their filial rats were retarded. Conclusion The methylmercury likely has the effect on behavioral teratogenesis of rats. A strain of high-efficiency bioflocculant-producting bacteria, which was named TJ-3,was screened from sewage sludge. The strain was gram-negative and rod-shaped in physiological biochemical test and was identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa by 16S rDNA Sequencing.According to the growth curve of the TJ-3 strain, the growth stabilization period is long so that Microbial Flocculants(MBF) production is stable. The MBF produced by the TJ-3 strain is able to flocculante kaolin suspension with 98.2%.The MBF activity distribution tests show that most of the active components of the bioflocculant exist in deposition after centrifufation. When pH is 8.5,1%(quality fraction) CaCl2 Solution dosing quantity is 3.5 mL,bioflocculant dosing quantity is 1.5 mL in 100 mL kaolin suspension, the bioflocculant has an optimal flocculation.

Objective To discuss the effect of the calcaneocuboid joint arthrodesis on the weight- bearing area of subtalar joint and its clinical significance. Methods Twelve fresh-frozen cadaver foot specimens were used for determination of weight-bearing area of the subtalar joint on foot and ankle neutral position, dorsiflexion, plantoflexion, adduction, abduction, inversion and eversion motion by means of pressure sensitive film before and after calcaneocuboid joint arthrodesis under weight loading. Results Weight-bearing area of the subtalar joint averagely increased for (32.54?7.45)% in all positions after calcaneocuboid joint arthrodesis, with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion Weight-bear- ing area of the subtalar joint increases after calcaneocuboid joint arthrodesis, which contributes to decrea- sing the pressure and increasing the stability of the subtalar joint.

Objective To systematically evaluate the association of diuretics with falls in the elderly. Methods Data of case-control studies and cohort studies of diuretics with falls in the elderly were collected by searching eleven electronic databases:MEDLINE,Embase,CENTRAL,AMED,CINAHL,Web of Science,Wiley online library, CBM,CNKI,VIP and WanFang Data from inception to July 2017. Study quality was assessed by the NOS scale. Meta-analysis was conducted by RevMan 5.3 software. Results A total of 17 studies involving 78284 patients were included(seven case-control studies and ten cohort studies). Meta-analysis showed that:①Case-control studies:crude OR showed that diuretics would not increase the risk of falls in elderly patients [OR=0.95,95%CI (0.66,1.38),P=0.80];adjusted OR showed that diuretics would increase the risk of falls in elderly patients[adjusted OR=1.25,95%CI (1.15,1.36),P<0.05]. ②Cohort studies:crude OR showed that diuretics would increase the risk of falls in elderly patients[OR=1.16,95%CI(1.02,1.32),P=0.03];adjusted OR showed that diuretics would not increase the risk of falls in elderly patients[adjusted OR=1.06,95%CI(0.92,1.22),P=0.43]. ③There was no statistically sig-nificant difference in the risk of falls among the elderly at different places, and there was no significant difference in the risk of falls among various diuretics (P>0.05). Conclusion Based on meta-analysis results of cohort studies that controlled confounders, and the results of diuretics in different places and different kinds, diuretics will not in-crease the risk of falls in older adults. Due to limited quantity and quality of included studies, the results need to be further confirmed by more rigorous clinical trials in the future.

OBJECTIVETo assess the efficacy and safety of Xifeng Zhidong Tablet (XZT) in treating tic disorder children patients of internal disturbance of Gan-wind with phlegm syndrome (IDGWPS).
METHODSA stratified randomized, double-blinded, parallel control of placebo, multi-center trial was conducted in 160 subjects from 5 hospitals in China. They were randomly assigned to 2 groups, the test group and the control group, 80 in each group. Those in the test group were treated with XZT, while those in the control group were treated with placebos. The therapeutic course was 4 weeks for all. The effectiveness indicators covered main indicators and secondary indicators. Yale global tic severity scale (YGTSS) was taken as the main indicators. The amelioration of social function impairment, efficacy, single index of Chinese medical syndromes, Chinese medical syndrome efficacy as well as disappearance rate of single Chinese medical symptoms were evaluated as secondary indicators. The safety indicators included clinical adverse events, vital signs, blood/urine/stool routines, renal and liver functions, and electrocardiogram (ECG).
RESULTSAs for main indicators, the score of YGTSS decreased from 22.10 +/- 6.38 to 11.34 +/- 6.58 in the test group, while it decreased from 22.65 +/- 6.70 to 16.82 +/- 6.53 in the control group, showing statistical difference when compared with the same group before treatment (P < 0.01). Besides, the decrement was more significant in the test group after treatment (P < 0.05). As for secondary indicators, the total effective rate was 83.54% in the test group and 34.18% in the controlled group, showing statistical difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). As for social function impairment, 20,38, 16, 3, 1 case(s) in the test group were ranked as normal, minimal, mild, moderate, obvious degree, while 1, 24, 45, 7, and 0 case(s) in the control group were ranked as normal, minimal, mild, moderate, obvious degree. Better effect was obtained in the test group (P < 0.05).As for Chinese medical syndrome efficacy, it was 87.34% in the test group and 64.56% in the control group (P < 0.05). As for single index of Chinese medical syndromes, the disappearance rate of motor tics, irritability, dreaminess, abnormal tongue proper, abnormal tongue fur, and abnormal tongue pulse condition was 78.67%, 34.72%, 62.26%, 34.62%, 58.97%, and 39.74%, respectively in the test group, while they were 34.67%, 13.11%, 21.82%, 15.58%, 25.97%, and 19.48%, respectively in the control group. Better results were shown in the test group (P < 0.05). Totally 5 adverse events occurred. The incidence of adverse events was 3.75% in the test group and 2.53% in the control group.
CONCLUSIONSAfter 4 weeks of XZT treatment, the integral of YGTSS could be obviously reduced, the degree of social function impairment ameliorated, and Chinese medical syndromes improved. In addition, no adverse reaction occurred in this study.

OBJECTIVETo construct an eukaryotic expression vector carrying rat brain-derived neurotrophic factor receptor trkB gene.
METHODSUsing the total RNA isolated from rat brain as template, the trkB gene was amplified by reverse-transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) with a pair of specific primers which contained the restrictive sites of EcoR I and BamH I. The amplified fragment of trkB gene was digested with EcoR I and BamH I, and then subcloned into cloning vector pMD18-T and expression vector pEGFP-C2 respectively. The recombinant plasmids were identified by restriction endonuclease enzyme analysis and PCR.
RESULTSThe amplified DNA fragment was about 1461 bp in length. Enzyme digestion and PCR analysis showed that the gene of trkB had been successfully cloned into vector pMD18-T and pEGFP-C2.
CONCLUSIONSThe trkB gene of rat has been amplified and cloned into the eukaryotic expression vector pEGFP-C2.
