Radiotherapy,as one of the combined treatments of malignancy tumor,plays an important role in some kinds or some special positions.But the rays can also damage the tissues around which resulted in some complications.The nerve tissue is vulnerable and the treatment results are limited.The damage manifestations of nervous system after radiotherapy were reviewed,and the knowledge of this problem was hoped to developed.

ObjectiveTo understand the implementation effect and its influencing factors of clinical medical undergraduates' talents cultivation scheme in Xinjiang Medical University. Methods 421 clinical medical students completed questionnaire. The main contents of the survey are general situation, the factors and the implementation effect of the cultivation scheme, and so on. Results①The talents cultivation scheme is reasonable and feasible. ②The main factors which affect talents cultivation scheme of our school are the teaching plan arrangement and practical course arrangement. ③Talents cultivation scheme in the implementation process achieved some success, but the cultivation of humanistic quality should be enhanced, etc. ConclusionRenewed the education conception, optimize the clinical teaching structure, integrated teaching contents, updated teaching methods and means, and strengthened students' humanistic quality are the key factors of the higher medical institutions to cultivate high quality and comprehensive talents.

Objective To retrospectivly analyze the value of Pap smear,liquid-based cells, colposcopy and colposcopic cervical biopsy in the diagnosis of cervical cancer. Methods 116 cases of cervical cancer were retrospectively analyzed, and the value of Pap smear,liquid-based cells ,colposcopy,and colposcopic cervical biopsy in the diagnosis of cervical cancer were investigated. Result 116 patients were pathologically diagnosed with cervical cancer before and after surgery. Pap smear was performed for 30 patients (25.9%) ,and 10 patients (33.3%) were detected with HSIL. Liquid-based cells was performed for47 patients (40.5%) ,and 25 patients (53.1%) were detected with HSIL. Colposcopy was performed for 99 patients (85.3%), and 75 patients (75.8 % ) were detected with HSIL or invasive cancer. Preoperative colposcopic biopsy was performed for 99 patients, and the pathological coincidence rate was 94.9%. There was no significant difference statistically between two cytology screening ( P ＞ 0.05 ). There was significant difference statistically between liquid-based cells and colposcopy ( P ＜ 0.01 ). There were significant differences statistically among liquid-based cells,colposcopy ,and colposcopic cervical biopsy ( P ＜0.01 ). Conclusion Cytology, colposcopy, colposcopic cervical biopsy could not be individually more complete and accurate detection of cervical cancer. Colposcopy,colposcopic biopsy than cytology had higher accurate rate of diagnosis of cervical cancer. A reasonable combination of multiple detection methods could improve the diagnostic accuracy of cervical cancer.

Objective To evaluate the effects of 4 different epitendinous sutures on the tensile strength of the repaired tendons. Methods 40 plantar flexion deep tendons from pigs were divided into 4 groups randomly, with 10 in each group. After the core suture of Modifier Kessler was applied, 4 epitendinous sutures at different distances from suture sites to broken ends (4mm, 7mm, 10mm, 12mm) were used respectively in each group to repair the transected tendons. MTS Instron 4411 was used to test the repaired tendons. Tensile strengths at 2mm gap formation and at the peak were collected for statistical analyses by ANOVA. Results In this test, the tensile strength was found to increase with the distance from suture sites to broken ends. The tensile strength in the 4mm group was significantly lower than that in the others. There was little statistical difference between the other 3 groups. Conclusion Tensile strength of the repaired tendon tends to increase with the distance from suture sites to broken ends in epitendinous suture.

In order to examine the feasibility of cytokine fusion gene transfer into tumor cells, a retroviral vector (pLXSN) for human interleukin 6/interleukin 2 (IL6/IL2) fusion gene was constructed by using PCR and ligating the 2 genes with a synthesized flexible linker. The IL6/IL2 fused gene was introduced into B16 melanoma cell line mediated by retrovirus and the changes of adhesive and metastatic ability of fused gene-modified cells were detected. The B16-IL6/ IL2 cells showed efficient expression of both cytokines and decreased binding affinity with extracellular matrix (Laminin and Matrigel), accompanying with decreased experimental metastatic potentials. These data suggest that the mechanism involving the decreased metastases may relate with the changes of biological characteristics and immune stimulating activity of gene-modified cells.

Objective To investigate the water source pollution by parasitic protozoa in small towns and villages in Shenzhen,China,in order to present the data to establish the national hygienic standard for controlling parasitic protozoa pollution.Methods The samples of water source were collected from 8 village level water plants in Shenzhen.Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium were detected,according to the EPA methods,by filtering,rinsing,magnetic isolation and staining.Results Giardia lamblia was found in water sources of 6 water plants and Cryptosporidium was found in one water plant.Conclusion At present,some water sources of village level water plants where the reservoirs were used as the water source in Shenzhen have been polluted by Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium,that indicates the potentiality of the water-born-diseases in that areas.

[Objective] To observe the effect of Naolisu Granules (NG) for experimental cerebral ischemia in rats. [Methods] Rat models with cerebral ischemia was set up by embolization of middle artery. To observe the effects of NG on cerebrovascular permeability, cerebral water content was examined and cerebral Evans blue (EB) content was detected with chromatometry. Meanwhile, the effect of HG on cerebral histological structure was observed with hematoxylin and eosin(HE) staining method. Objective This study was designed to evaluate the biomechanical properties in tendons across the joints when Palmar or dorsal stitches were used. Methods Twenty porcine tendons were transected and then repaired in zone Ⅱand divided into two groups,using modified Kessler by placing the stitches in volar or dorsal part of tendons.The repaired tendons were placed on a joint model with flexion of 60?. An instron tensile testing machine was used to investigate 2 mm gap formation force and ultimate tensile strength. Results 2 mm gap formation force and ultimate tensile strength were both higher when dorsal placement of stitches was used. Conclusions Dorsal placement of stitches was recommended for repairing the tendons across the joints because it can offer greater tensile strength.

Objective To evaluate the value of serum procalcitonin (PCT) in antibiotics used for the treatment of acute exacerbation of asthma. Method From February 2007 to July 2009, a total of 158 patients with asthma were randomly (random number) assigned to PCT group ( n = 77) or to control group ( n = 81 ). The PCT levels of all patients were measured. On the bases of routine treatment, the employment of antibiotics in control group was determined by the guidebook, and patients in the PCT group were treated with antibiotics guided by the levels of serum PCT. The antibiotics treatment was employed as PCT level ＞0.25 ng/mL, and was not employed as PCT level ＜ 0.25 ng/mL. The rates of antibioties employment were observed. Results The rate of antibiotics employment in PCT group (45.4%) was lower than that of the control group (77.8%) (x2 = 17.15,P =0.000). Conclusions PCT could be used safely as guidance of antibiotics employment for the treatment of patients with acute exacerbation of asthma, leading to appropriate use of antibiotcs.

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy,adverse effect and prognosis of infliximab in treatment of the patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).Methods Thirty-two cases of infliximab-treated JIA patients and 30 cases of JIA control patients were investigated in this prospective study,and their tender joint count (TJC),swollen joint count (SJC),erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),C-reactive protein (CRP),visual analog scale for general health (GH),disease activity score (DAS) 28,as well as adverse reactions of treatment and follow-up outcomes were analyzed.The infliximab-treated patients were intravenously infused with infliximab at the low dose of ＜ 5 mg/(kg · time) or the high dose of ≥ 5 mg/(kg · time) in 0,2nd,6th,14th,22nd,30th week.The JIA control patients were treated with conventional therapy.Results The treatment of infliximab ameliorated the TJC,SJC,ESR,CH,CRP and DAS28 of JIA patients.In the dynamical analysis of these clinical indexes of the infliximab-treated JIA patients,the index of SJC was found to fall firstly in the 2nd week,the indexes of TJC,ESR,CH and DAS28 were found to decline secondly at 6th week,the indexes of TJC,SJC,ESR,CRP and DAS28 continued dropping till 22nd week,and only the index of GH progressively declined to 30th week.The high-dose infliximab-treated group had lower levels of ESR,GH and CRP than the low-dose infliximab-treated group (t =2.14,3.04,2.33,P =0.04,0.01,0.04).But there were no statistical difference in TJC,SJC,DAS28 and the incidence of recent adverse reactions between the high and low infliximab dose groups.In the infliximab treated group,2 cases of patients (6.25％) failed in the therapy of infliximab;9 cases of patients (28.13％) continued therapy with infliximab to 46th-62nd week; 7 cases of patients (21.88％) stopped therapy with infliximab in the 30th week had good improvement of joint symptoms and inflammatory indexes; 14 cases of patients (43.75％) relapsed and retreated by infliximab after cease the first course of treatment; 1 case of patient died of severe chickenpox infection after therapy with infliximab was ceased.Conclusions Infliximab can alleviate the joint symptoms,inflammatory indexes and DAS28 of JIA patients,and is an effective and safe therapy for JIA patients in the short-term study.
