Objective To understand the level of posttraumatic growth among people living with HIV/AIDS and analyze the influencing factors. Methods Totally 175 people living with HIV/AIDS were randomly selected via convenience sampling and investigated using patients′ general information, Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory(PTGI), HIV stigma scale and Social Support Rating Scale. Results The average score of PTGI among people living with HIV/AIDS was (60.76 ± 27.03) points. Single factor analysis showed that there was a difference among people living with HIV/AIDS who had different education status, health insurance and whether to tell others HIV positive (Z=21.534, t=2.607, 3.958, P<0.01). There was a difference between the level of social support and perceived discrimination among people living with HIV/AIDS (r=0.245-0.275, P<0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the level of social support, perceived discrimination and whether to tell others HIV positive could affect the total score of PTGI. All the variables could explain 24.0%variance of posttraumatic growth. Conclusions People living with HIV/AIDS havemoderate posttraumatic growth. The level of social support, perceived discrimination and whether to tell others HIV positive are related to the posttraumatic growth among people living with HIV/AIDS.

Polycomb group (PcG) proteins are a family of epigenetic regulators responsible for the repression of genes in proliferation and differentiation of stem cells. PcG protein complex consists of two important epigenetic regulators: PRC1 (polycomb repressive complex 1) and PRC2 (polycomb repressive complex 2). In order to further understand the functions of PcG proteins in stem cell growth and differentiation, we review the PcG protein composition, PcG protein localization in the target gene, PcG protein recruitment, and the functions of PcG proteins in the development of stem cells.

Objective To describe the status of serf-disclosure among youth students living with HIV/AIDS and explore its influencing factors. Methods Totally 110 youth students living with HIV/AIDS in the outpatient clinic were randomly selected from three hospitals in Beijing via convenience sampling and investigated using patients' general information questionnaire,self-disclosure questionnaire, simplified coping style scale, medical and social support scale,self-esteem scale and HIV/AIDS knowledge questionnaire.Logistic regressions were used to determine the influencing factors of self-disclosure.Results Sixty-four youth students living with HIV/AIDS conducted serf-disclosure,accounting for 58.2%.Logistic regression results showed that the influencing factors of self-disclosure were marriage, test results of latest CD4 cell count, perceived discrimination. Conclusion The level of self-disclosure among youth students living with HIV/AIDS is relatively high in this study.Medical staff should know the status and influencing factors of self-disclosure among youth students living with HIV/AIDS,and make effective assessments and take targeted interventions in order to promote self-disclosure.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and safety in the treatment of liver cancer located under the diaphragm with cool-tip radiofrequency ablation(RFA)percutaneously under CT guidance. Methods 20 patients with total 25 lesions were treated by CT-guided RFA with cool-tip electrode involving the induced necroses. The postoperative efficacy was evaluated by enhanced CT or MRI.Results 72% lesions were completely necrotized(18/25),28% lesions were majorly necrotized(7/25).No severe complications occurred. Conclusion CT-RFA with cool-tip electrode is effective and safe in treating liver cancer located under the diaphragm.

Objective To investigate expression and significance of decorin(DCN)in liver tissue and serum of liver transplant patients with chronic rejection(CR).Methods Immunohistochemistry(SP method)was used to detect expression of DCN in liver tissue of 16 normal controls, 20 patients with cirrhosis, 46 liver translantion patients without CR and 8 patients with CR.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method(ELISA method)was used to determined the content of DCN in serum of all research subjects. Results The expression of DCN was negative in normal hepatic tissues and with/without CR, cirrhosis tissues showed strong expression of DCN.The positive expression rate and the average optical density value of DCN in liver transplant tissues with CR had significant difference comparing with Cirrhosis tissues(25% vs 55%, 0.1249 ±0.0039 vs 0.2357 ±0.0396, P <0.01,while no statistic siqnificance compared to normal liver tissues and those without CR.The level of DCN in serum was significantly higher in liver transplant patients with CR, with significant difference comparing with normal people, liver cirrhosis and transplant liver patients without CR(54.0833 ± 6.0325)μg/L vs(1.0232 ± 0.9105)μg/L,(12.6202 ± 1.5370)μg/L,(17.7102 ± 2.3562)μg/L, P < 0.01).The concentration of DCN in serum showed a positive correlation with the degree of CR.Conclusions DCN showed negative expression in liver tissue and increased significantly in serum of liver transplantation patients with CR.This suggests that DCN may be involved in occurrence and development of CR.At the same time the determination of DCN in serum maybe become an important indicator of the early diagnosis, development and prognosis of CR for liver transplant patients.

The aim of this study was to observe the protective effect of ademetionine 1, 4-butanedisulfonate on liver injury caused by chemotherapy in patients with leukemia. The clinical data of protective effect were analyzed retrospectively from January 2010 to April 2012. A total of 62 acute leukemia patients were divided into A group (27 cases) and B group (35 cases), the polyene phosphatidyl choline combined with ademetionine or combined with compound glycyrrhizin were given in A and B group, respectively. The changes of liver function were observed after 2 weeks, 5 patients in B group suffered from acute liver injury were treated by ademetionine as rescue therapy. Liver function was compared before and after treatment. The results showed that ALT and AST levels were significantly reduced in A group (P < 0.05), none of the patients (0/27) suffered from acute liver injury, but 14.29% (5/35) patients in B group suffered from acute liver injury, and liver function could be recovered by substitution treatment of ademetionine (the median time is 8 days, 5-14 days). It is concluded that the protective and therapeutic effect of ademetionine against liver injury caused by chemotherapy in patients with leukemia is better than that of compound glycyrrhizin.

OBJECTIVETo discuss the feasibility of the operation of minimal invasive with gallbladder preserved via choledochoscopy.
METHODSFrom February 1992 to June 2006, there were 760 patients who underwent cholecystolithiasis treated with the minimal invasive operation with gallbladder preserved via choledochoscopy, among which there were 428 males and 332 females, aged from 18 to 81 years old. All cases were diagnosed by ultrasonography and their gallbladder functions were proved normal by the examination of oral cholecystography or ECT before operation. In the operation gallstones were removed from gallbladder completely.
RESULTSThere were 612 cases who were followed up for 1-15 years and the follow-up rate was 80.5%. All patients recovered well after operation. The post-operation rate of recurrence of gallstone was 0.49%, 4.39%, 5.83%, 6.60%, 7.21% and 8.38% within the first year, the second year, the third year, the fifth year, the seventh year and the ninth year respectively, rate of recurrence of gallstone were 10.11% within both the tenth and the fifteenth year.
CONCLUSIONSThe minimal invasive operation with gallbladder preserved via choledochoscopy is effective to cholecystolithiasis patients whose gallbladder function is normal. It is a feasible operation that preserves the normal functional gallbladder and improves the patients' life quality.
