Objective To investigate the contamination and dietary intake of the aluminium in commercial foods in Shaanxi Province, and evaluate its potential health risks in Shaanxi population. Methods Six hundred and sixty-six samples from 8 kinds of foods in Shaanxi Province were collected from 2013 to 2015.The aluminium contents were detected according to National Food Contamination and Harmful Factors in Risk Monitoring Manual, and dietary intake of aluminium in Shaanxi population was evaluated by point assessment model with of nutritional survey date. Results The average dietary intake of aluminium was 0.154 9 mg/kg BW per day,and the dietary intake of woman aged 18 to 59 years old was the highest, with an average of 0.178 5 mg/kg BW per day. When aluminum intake of the 97.5 percentile, the dietary intake of aluminium in children aged 2 to 7 years old was the highest. The margins of safety (MOS) of all age groups were smaller than 1,while the MOS of high exposure (P97.5) group was above 1.Fried and baked food were the main sources of aluminium exposure in two age groups (2-7 years and 8-12 years old group),while fried food, cold noodle and starch products were the main sources of aluminium exposure for others. Conclusion Dietary intake (tP97.5) of aluminium exceeded the provisional tolerable weekly intake (PTWI).The dietary intake of aluminium in women and children was high.Fried food was the main sources of aluminium exposure in all age groups.

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of Zhengtian Pills on blood-stasis pattern of migraine with hemodynamics and TCD as markers. Methods: 30 patients with blood-stasis pattern of migraine were given drug Zhengtian Pills for a month. The hemodynamic marker, integrating value of nail fold microcirculation and TCD before and after treatment were compared. Results: There were significant differences in hemodynamic marker, integrating value of nail fold microcirculation and TCD between before and after treatment (P

Objective To characterize the language development and articulation in children with different types of cerebral palsy. Methods The data from 76 children with cerebral palsy who underwent standardized tests of speech and language were analyzed. The incidence and abnormal pattern were compared between groups. ResultsLanguage delay and/or dysarthria were noted in 73.1% of these subjects. Children with diplegia developed similar levels both in comprehension and verbal expression, whereas those with tetraplegia and athetoid developed poorer verbal expression. The incidence of language delay in children with diplegia, tetraplegia and athetoid were 45.95%, 90% and 64.7%, respectively. Dysarthria was found in all the children with tetraplegia, athetoid and ataxia, but only 48.65% of those with diplegia. Conclusion Language disorders were common in children with cerebral palsy, especially those with athetoid and tetraplegia.

Objective: To explore the influence factors of the degenerate oligonucleotide primered PCR(DOP-PCR). Methods: Genome DNA template from the mouse single oocyte or liver tissue were used to perform DOP-PCR. DOP-PCR was carried out with templates of different origin, different gradient dilution, with or without low melting point gel purified to wipe off the small fragment that might interfere with the following analysis, and then PCR of gene FTCD and CBS were carried out to evaluate the influence of these factors on the amplification efficiency and specificity. Results: Compared with genome DNA template from mouse liver, the template from single oocyte had the same efficiency and specificity but a minor yield and different gradient dilution of DNA template had no effect on the efficiency and specificity. Furthermore, there was a higher specificity in the low melting point gel-purified DOP-PCR product than in untreated ones. Conclusion: We have got a satisfactory result and increased specificity from DOP-PCR product purified with the low melting point gel. Single oocyte of mice could be used for further investigation of special genes detection by DOP-PCR and of an optimization in the yield of the products.

Objective To explore the protective effect of Red Sage Root on bronchopulmonary dysplasis(BPD) induced by hyperoxia in newborn rats. Methods On the 2nd postnatal day,SD newborn rats were randomly assigned to 4 groups:air and NS group(group Ⅰ),air and Red Sage Root group(group Ⅱ),hyperoxia and NS group(group Ⅲ),hyperoxia and Red Sage Root group(group Ⅳ).The rats in group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ were exposed to hyperoxia(the level of oxygen was 900-960 mL/L).The rats in group Ⅱ and group Ⅳ were injected with Red Sage Root intraperitoneally(10 mg/kg)daily.On 14 days after birth,6 rats in each group were killed.Lung histologic changes, radical alveolar counts(RAC)were monitored.Thiobarbituric acid method, nitrite method,2-nitroben zoic acid method were used to determine the concentration of malony ldialdengde(MDA),superoxidedismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) were monitored. Results 1.Group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ showed the inhibition of lung development and the evident lung fibrosis. In contrast to group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ,RAC in group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ decreased dramatically(Pa

Epiretinal membrane (ERM) is a relatively common macular disease that forms along the surface of the internal limiting membrane (ILM) of the retina to some reason. The pathogenesis is not clear.Microincision vitrectomy surgery has been confirmed as a minimally invasive and very safe modality of treatment.Deciding when to perform a vitrectomy can be difficult. There are many factors which can affect the postoperative visual acuity, such as age,the thickness of macular, integrity of photoreceptor inner segment/outer segment (IS/OS) junction.

One strain of Pseudoalteromonas sp. E18 was isolated from the sea mud of Ningbo, Zhejiang. It can produce indigo pigment. The morphological, cultural and biochemical characteristics of the bacterium were studied. The indigo pigment was also extracted. The results showed that the maximum absorption peak of the pigment was at 579nm. The pigment was stable to UV, Na_2SO_3,It was also stable at pH 3~9. The pigment was unstable to the sunlight and high concentration H_2O_2. Temperature of 60℃~80℃ could increase the hue while temperature higher than 90℃ could reduce the hue.
