1.Research progress of traditional Chinese medicine extract for retinal ischemia -reperfusion injury
International Eye Science 2015;(5):810-812
?Retinal ischemia - reperfusion injury ( RlRl ) is a common clinical disease, and the producing mechanism is still in research. Experimental and clinical research in recent years have showed that the mechanism of RlRl and oxygen free radicals, gene regulation, calcium overload, inflammatory cytokines and other factors are closely related. ln this article, we summarized the current situation that the scholars at home and abroad study traditional Chinese medicine extract of prevention and treatment of RlRl.

4.NEURAL NETWORK TRAINING WITH PARALLEL PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZER
Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2006;18(2):109-112
Objective To reduce the execution time of neural network training. Methods Parallel particle swarm optimization algorithm based on master-slave model is proposed to train radial basis function neural networks, which is implemented on a cluster using MPI libraries for inter-process communication. Results High speed-up factor is achieved and execution time is reduced greatly. On the other hand, the resulting neural network has good classification accuracy not only on training sets but also on test sets. Conclusion Since the fitness evaluation is intensive, parallel particle swarm optimization shows great advantages to speed up neural network training.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2011;27(12):1002-1003
The serum level of 25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 was determined in patients with type 2 diabetes, diabetic nephropathy, and healthy objects..The results demonstrated that the serum 25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 level in type 2 diabetic patients with nephropathy was lower than that in the healthy objects or type 2 diabetes objects.Blood β2-M,total cholesterol,creatinine,24 h urinary albumin, and course of illness in type 2 diabetic patients with nephropathy have relationship with serum 25-dihydroxyvitamin D3.
6.Different concentration of iodized salt for preventing iodine deficiency disorder: a systematic review
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2009;28(5):579-582
Objective To assess the effectiveness of different concentration of iodized salt for preventing iodine deficiency disorders. Methods Using the principle and method of systematic review, we searched Cochrane Library(from 1994 to Mar. 2007), Medline(from 1966 to Mar. 2007), BA(from 1969 to Mar. 2007), PubMed(from 1950 to Mar. 2007), OC1D(from 1950 to Mar. 2007), ISI Web of Knowledge(from 1966 to Mar. 2007), Vip (from 1989 to Mar. 2007), Wanfang(from 1997 to Mar. 2007), CBMDisc(from 1978 to Mar. 2007) and CNKI(1994 to Mar. 2007) and hand searched 6 relevant Chinese journals, including Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine, Chinese Journal of Endemiology, Chinese Journal of Epidemiology, Chinese Journal of Control of Endemic Disease, Endemic Diseases Bulletin and Modern Preventive Medicine. We screened the for eligible studies according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria to be rigorously evealuatecl descriptly and qualitatively. Results Thirteen studies were included, of which, the first six were intervention trials with comparison, including two community intervention trials, which classified all objects into different groups, using iodized salt at different concentration as intervention, four were RCTs with different intervention methods, compare the iodized salt with other intervention measures. Seven were cross-sectional studies, which analyzed the iodine nutrition of people after the concentration of iodized salt was lowered down. Because of different interventions in control groups and different outcome measures, it was difficult to perform recta-analysis, a descriptive analysis of the results was presented. Most studies showed that urinary iodine level decreased as the concentration of iodized salt went down gradually. When the concentration of iodized salt went down to the best level recommended, goiter rate decreased obviously. Conclusions Iodized salt was considered as the hest method of iodine supply to prevent iodine deficiency disorders. But effectiveness of preventing iodine deficiency disorders with various concentration of iodized salt is different. To lower the concentration of iodized salt properly can not only prevent iodine deficiency disorders but also reduce the side effect of excess iodine intake to the minimum. And it can also save a lot of iodine resource. Well-designed community-based intervention trials with large sample size are needed to confirm the effect of different concentration of iodized salt on preventing iodine deficiency disorder.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2009;15(6):598-600
Objective To assess the perception of rehabilitation therapeutics students to their learning environment. Methods The Dundee Ready Education Environment Measure (DREEM) inventory was used to measure rehabilitation therapeutics education environment by investigating two hundred and forty-seven baccalaureate rehabilitation therapeutics students. Results The rehabilitation therapeutics students perceived the total education environment and four subscales which included perceptions of learning and teachers, environment, and students' academic self-perceptions as relatively satisfactory. Moreover, they perceived that the teachers were knowledgeable, the relationships between teachers and students were better, and this school was well regulations. But the scores of students' social self-perceptions was lower (15.23 ±4.16). Especially, there were some problems in learning approach and accommodations. Conclusion To take advantage of competent teachers, good teacher-student relationship, and proper regulations and overcome unfavorable factors in social activities and approaches to learning is a guarantee of good rehabilitation therapeutics education environment.

Chinese Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine 2009;8(4):388-391
Objective To investigate whether pulse pressure variation (△PP) reflect the effects of PEEP and fluid resuscitation (FR) on hemodynamic effects. Methods Twenty critical patients with acute lung injury was ventilated with volume control (VT =8 mL/kg,Ti/Te = 1: 2) ,and PaCO2 was kept at 35 to 45 mm Hg.PEEP was setted as 5 cm H2O and 15 cm H2O in randomized order.Hemodynamic parameters including cardiac index, pulse pressure, central venous pressure, etc.were monitered by PiCCO system.Measurements were performed after the application of 5 cm H2O PEEP (PEEPs group)and 15 cm H2O PEEP (PEEP15 group) respectively. When the PEEP-induced decrease in cardiac index (CI) was > 10%, measurements were also performed after fluid resuscitation. Results Compared with PEEPs group, CI was decreased significantly in PEEP15 group(P < 0.05), and APP was increased significantly (P < 0.05).In 14 patients whose PEEP-induced decrease in CI was > 10%, fluid resuscitation increased CI from (3.01±0.57)L · min-1· m-1to (3.62±0.68)L · min-1 · m-2(P<0.01),and decreased △PP from (17±3)% to (10±2) % (P < 0.01).PEEP15-induced decrease in CI was correlated negatively with APP on PEEP5 (r =-0.91,P < 0.01) and with the PEEP15-induced increase in △PP (r =-0.79, P < 0.01).FR-induced changes in CI correlated with APP before FR (r = 0.96, P < 0.01) and with the FR-induced decrease in APP (r =-0.95, P < 0.01).Conclusions In ventilated patients with ALI, △PP may be a simple and useful parameter in predicting and assessing the hemodynamic effects of PEEP and FR.
