Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2015;(7):19-22
After the necessity of research on bio-entities was pointed out, the advances and status quo in research on the relation between bio-entities were analyzed with concrete ideas and project put forward for the research on bio-entities using scientometric methods according to thecitationrelation in bio-entities similar to that in litera-ture.This kind of research will promote and perfect the research on scientometric theory and practice, and open a new visual angle for the research on knowledge management .
2.Treating postoperative right ventricular failure by using milrinone and prostaglandin E1
Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 1995;0(05):-
Objective To study the effect of milrinone(Mil) and prostaglandin E1(PGE1) on postoperative right ventricular failure(RVF). Methods 28 patients with congenital heart diseases and pulmonary hypertension undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) were randomly divided into four groups: control group (group I), receiving Mil (Group II), receiving PGE1 (Group III), and receiving both Mil and PGE1(group IV). The hemodynamic indexes of all the patients, including mean pulmonary artery pressure (PAP), mean arterial blood pressure (MAP), cardiac index(CI), systemic vascular resistance (SVR) and pulmonary vascular resistance(PVR), were measured and compared. Intubation time and side effects were observed. Results Compared with the other three groups, postoperative PAP、PVR and SVR in group IV deceased and CI increased significantly. The intubation time was also shorter in group IV. Conclusion Postoperative RVF can be treated efficiently by using Mil and PGE1.

Objective To study the relationships between hemoglobin concentration, cytokine and cardiac function in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy. Methods Hemoglobin concentration, sernm TNF-α,IL-6 in 121 patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy were measured, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)by echocardiography, according to hemoglobin concentration, these patients were distributed to the anemic group and the non-anemic group, contrasting to 27 healthy persons. Results The levels of serum TNF-α,IL-6 in the anemic patients group were higher than those in the non-anemic group subjects, but LVEF Wag lower. With the increase of anemia severity, the levels of serum TNF-α,IL-6 significantly increased;there was a positive correlation between LVEF and the levels of serum TNF-α,IL-6(P<0.01),and a negative correlation between LVEF and Hb concentration. Conclusion The levels of cytokine promote the pathophysiological procedure between cardiac failure and anemic in ICM.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2015;(9):1720-1723
AIM:To investigate the effect of tanshinone IIA on the apoptosis of human umbilical vein endothe -lial cells (HUVECs) after high glucose treatment.METHODS:The cell viability was determined by MTT assay. The cell apoptotic rate was examined by flow cytometry with Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining .The expression of Bcl-2 and Bax, and the release of mitochondrial cytochrome C ( Cyt C) were analyzed by Western blotting .RESULTS: Tanshinone IIA significantly inhibited high glucose-induced decrease in cell viability and increased the cell apoptosis .Additionally, after tanshinone IIA treatment , Bax expression and the release of mitochondrial Cyt C were significantly inhibited , while Bcl-2 expression was increased .CONCLUSION: Tanshinone IIA prevents high glucose-induced endothelial cell apoptosis via mitochondria-dependent pathway .

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a complex neurodegenerative disorder which seriously causes the dementia in elderly people and afflicts millions of people worldwide. Drug discovery for Alzheimer's disease therapy has been a hot research area and a big challenge, in which development of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitors design was the most active and some AChE inhibitors are commercially available for AD medication already. However, practical using of commercial AChE inhibitors showed their limited usefulness and related adverse effects. Thus, it is extremely urgent to find novel AChE inhibitors with higher potency and less adverse effects. Based on the accurate crystallographic studies about AChE, strategies for multi-binding site AChE inhibitors have been formed, followed by design of the multi-target directed ligands. In this review, the structures and binding modes of commercial AChE inhibitors were briefly discussed, together with the development of AChE inhibitor design for AD therapy: from multi-binding site inhibitors to multi-target directed ligands.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2012;21(10):868-871
Objective To assess the value of imaging examination technologies such as 2-D ultrasound(2-DUS),helical computed tomography (CT),contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) and contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) in the positioning and qualitative diagnosis of pancreatic diseases. Methods 2-DUS,helical CT findings were comparatively reviewed to analyze in 44 cases(45 lesions) with pancreatic space-occupying lesions verified by operation and pathology, and investigated the enhanced mode and the perfusion features of CEUS and CECT in different phases. Results In 45 lesions, there were 29 malignant lesions and 16 benign lesions.CEUS and CECT had greater diagnostic value compared to 2-DUS and helical CT.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 2-DUS for the malignant lesions were 72.41 %,62.50% and 66.67 %,while the helical CT were 68.97%,75.00 % and 68.89 %.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of CEUS for the malignant lesions were 93.10%,87.50% and 91.11%,while the CECT were 86.21%,93.75% and 86.67%.There was no statistical difference between CEUS and CECT in detecting pancreatic space-occupying lesions. Conclusions CEUS and CECT can provide more accurate diagnosis on for pancreatic space-occupying lesions than 2-DUS and helical CT.Following CECT,CEUS is a new technology for diagnosis on pancreatic space-occupying lesions.
