Objective To evaluate the efficacy of laryngeal mask airway (LMA) Ⅰ-gel for airway management in the patients requiring insertion of nasogastric tube before laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods Sixty patients, aged 26-64 yr,weighing 54-90 kg,of ASA physical status Ⅰ-Ⅲ (Mallampati Ⅰ-Ⅲ),scheduled for elective laparoscopic surgery, were randomly divided into Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ groups (n =20 each) using a random number table. In group Ⅰ,the nasogastric tube was inserted through the drain tube of LMA I-gel.In group Ⅱ,the nasogastric tube was inserted through the nostril before surgery. In group Ⅲ,the nasogastric tube was inserted through the nostril before surgery, and another nasogastric tube was inserted through the drain tube of LMA I-gel after induction of anesthesia. The hemodynamic parameters,SpO2,PET CO2 and peak airway pressure were monitored during surgery. The fiberoptic laryngoscopy scores were assessed and the development of nasogastric tube displacement was recorded after successful LMA placement. The LMA placement time, success rate of LMA placement at the first attempt, depth of placement, airway sealing pressure, and occurrence of air leakage of LMA and nasogastric tube drainage were recoded. The bloodstains and gastroesophageal reflux were observed after removal of LMA Ⅰ-gel.The pH values were tested at the tip of LMA and on the dorsal and ventral sides of the body of LMA by using pH test papers. The development of adverse reactions in the oropharynx was recorded within 24 h after surgery. Results The hemodynamics was stable and SpO2,peak airway pressure and PETCO2 were all within the normal range during surgery, and Ppeak was lower than airway sealing pressure in the three groups. There were no significant differences between the three groups in LMA placement time, success rate of LMA placement at the first attempt, depth of placement, airway sealing pressure, incidence of air leakage of LMA,fiberoptic laryngoscopy scores, time for removal of LMA I-gel,incidences of adverse reactions in the oropharynx, bloodstains within the body of LMA and gastroesophageal reflux, and pH values at the tip of LMA and on the dorsal and ventral sides of the body of LMA.There was no nasogastric tube displacement in Ⅱ and Ⅲ groups. There were 7 patients developing gastric juice outflow from drainage tube of the LMA I-gel and 2 patients developing gastric juice outflow from the nostril gastrictubes in group Ⅱ.Conclusion For the patients requiring insertion of nasogastric tube before laparoscopic cholecystectomy, insertion of LMA I-gel is easy, and I-gel LMA can assure good airway sealing and adequate ventilation.

This study was based on live yeast cell derivative (LYCD), which was produced by live yeast cell stressed with high temperature and H 2O 2. The results showed that pretreating of low dose(37℃and 0.2mmol/L H 2O 2) could increase the content of GSH and the activity of SOD and CAT. These pretreatment could induce the resistance to lethal concentration of H 2O 2. LYCD was produced by yeast treated with 37℃ and 0.2mmol/L H 2O 2. And it was found that the survival of yeast treated with lethal concentration of H 2O 2 obviously increased, while LYCD was added in yeast culture. It indicated that LYCD could have resistance to oxidative condition.

Cell biology is one of the life science's four basic disciplines. With the rapid development of knowledge, network teaching breaks through the traditional class teaching's limitations, and is significant to constructing innovative teaching modes. In view of the medical undergraduate teaching characteristics,we have summed up the experience of network teaching platform's establishment and application and found that interactive network teaching is helpful to knowledge updating, conducive for students to play a principal role, and beneficial to enhancing the communication between teachers and students.

Objective To investigate the effect of both thrombus aspiration device Diver CE and tirofiban therapy on patients of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) with coronary thrombotic burden lesion. Methods 32 patients of AMI with thrombotic burden lesion confirmed by coronary angiography were divided into the aspiration catheter and tirofiban group (n=24) and standard percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) group (n=8). The rate of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in hospital, changes before and after the therapy of two groups were compared. Results MACE incidence in hospital in the patients of the both thrombus aspiration and tirofiban group was obviously lower than that of the standard PCI group ( P<0.05). The thrombolysis in myocadial infarction (TIMI) after therapy in the thrombus aspiration group improved superior to the standard PCI group. All of two groups had no fatal hemorrhagic complications. Conclusion Combination of thrombus aspiration and tirofiban is a safe and effective method to manage the thrombotic burden lesion in AMI patients.

In order to investigate the mechanism, the correlation between the odor change in Crataegi Fructus stir-fried process and 5-HMF were studied. Required samples were retrieved from Crataegi Fructus stir-fried process. Statistical quality control (SQC) was used to analyze the response values acquired by the electronic nose. At the same time, the content of 5-HMF was detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the above two. Experimental results showed that SQC model established by response values of all samples could show the change law of odor in Crataegi Fructus stir-fried process and changes of 5-HMF content was dropped after the first increase. Correlation analysis showed that the odor change in Crataegi Fructus stir-fried process and 5-HMF were significantly correlated (P < 0.05). Sugar degradation reaction and the Maillard reaction may be one of the mechanisms of the odor change in Crataegi Fructus stir-fried process.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(5):1061-1064
In order to meet the requirements of ultrasound bone density measurement, we proposed a software solution to improve the accuracy and speed of measurement of bone mineral density of the ultrasound bone densitometer. We used a high-speed USB interface chip FT232H, along with a high-speed AD converter chip to calculate speed of sound (SOS), broadband ultrasound attenuation (BUA ) and other bone density parameters in the PC software. This solution improved the accuracy of the measurement data, reduced the measurement time and increased the quality of the displayed image. It is well concluded that the new software can greatly improve the accuracy and transmission speed of bone density measurement data through a high-speed USB interface and a software data processing technology.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2008;23(4):269-271
Objective To summarize the experience on the diagnosis and therapy of intravenous leiomyomatosis(IVL)of the inferior vena cava. Methods Eight IVL patients were treated in our hospital from March 1998 to April 2007. Results The diagnosis of IVL of the inferior vena cava was established histologically by biopsy during inferior vena eavagram before operation in 4 patients.Seven patients received open surgery.Except one patient dying of massive hemorrhage during operation and one IVL recurrence during follow-up,postoperative course was uneventful and an average follow-up of 29 months found no recurrence in the other five patients. Conclusion The final diagnosis of IVL of the inferior vena cava depends on venogram and biopsy, and it is an estrogen dependent tumor originating from uterus leiomyoma.Total surgical extirpation of the tumor is the only effective treatment for IVL.
