Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2015;(12):1154-1156
ObjectiveTo compare the efficacies between conventional acupuncture plus acupoint application and conventional acupuncture plus TDP in treating dysmenorrhea due to blood stagnation led by cold.MethodSixty patients were randomized into two groups, 31 cases in the treatment group and 29 cases in the control group. The treatment group was intervened by conventional acupuncture plus acupoint application, while the control group was by conventional acupuncture plus TDP. Before and after the intervention, McGill Pain Questionnaire was adopted to compare the Pain Rating Index (PRI) score, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score, and Present Pain Index (PPI) score, and the therapeutic efficacy was also compared.ResultThe recovery rate was 58.1% in the treatment group, significantly higher than 24.1% in the control group (P<0.01); the total effective rate was 90.3% in the treatment group, significantly higher than 62.1% in the control group (P<0.01), indicating that the therapeutic efficacy of the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group. Before the intervention, there were no significant differences in comparing the PRI, VAS, and PPI scores between the two groups (P>0.05), suggesting the comparability. After the intervention, there were significant differences in comparing the PRI, VAS, and PPI scores between the two groups (P<0.05), and the PRI, VAS, and PPI scores were markedly decreased in the treatment group.ConclusionConventional acupuncture plus acupoint application can improve dysmenorrhea symptoms and reduce patient’s pain, and can produce a more significant efficacy compared with conventional acupuncture plus TDP.

Purpose To discuss the feasibility of evaluating left ventricular systolic function in patients with acute anterior myocardial infarction (AAMI) with three-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (3D-STI). Materials and Methods Thirty AAMI patients were examined with 3D-STI technique in terms of left ventricular longitudinal strain (LS), radial strain (RS), circumferential strain (CS), area strain (AS), global longitudinal strain (GLS), global riadial strain (GRS), global circumferential strain (GCS) and global area strain (GAS). The results were compared with those of 30 healthy persons and the strain values in normal segments of those AAMI patients. The threshold, sensibility and specificity of those parameters in diagnosing myocardial infarction were analyzed. Results Compared with healthy group, LS reduced in 12 out of 17 segments (12/17), RS reduced in 10/17, CS in 9/17 and AS in 11/17;they mainly focused in the base segment, middle and apex of anterior wall, the base segment and the middle of anterior septal, the apex of aboral septal, and the middle segment, apex of the lateral wall. The GLS, GRS, GCS and GAS were all lower than those in healthy group (differences with statistic signiifcance:P<0.05). In AAMI patient, LS, RS, CS and AS in the infarcted segments were lower compared with those in the normal segments (differences with statistic signiifcance:P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that the sensitivity of LS, RS, CS and AS were 89.2%, 79.0%, 77.9%, 85.3%, respectively in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction, and the speciifcity were 65.8%, 71.0%, 66.9%and 92.3%, respectively. The sensitivity of the GLS, GRS, GCS and GAS were 91.2%, 74.0%, 68.9%, 85.3%, respectively in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction, and the speciifcity were 69.8%, 71.0%, 76.9%and 93.3%, respectively. Conclusion 3D-STI can detect the strain values of LV segments efficiently and accurately so as to discriminate normal and infracted segments, which provides a reliable measurement to evaluate the extent of the infarction of the patients with acute anterior wall myocardial infarction.

Objective To observe the estrogenic activity of octylphenol(OP) in vitro and to conduct a preliminary study of its mechanism. Methods The estrogenic activity of OP was detected by cell proliferation test of MCF 7 cells in vitro and the mechanism was preliminarily studied by growth curve analysis, cell cycle analysis, tamoxifen(Tam) antagonistic test and apoptosis detection. Results OP was found to have estrogenic activity to stimulate the proliferation of MCF 7 cells. Cell cycle analysis revealed that the cell proliferation indexes of OP and 17? estradiol(E 2) were higher than those of alcohol. The estrogenic activities of OP and E 2 to stimulate the proliferation of MCR 7 could be antagonized by Tam. Both OP and E 2 could inhibit the cell apoptosis of MCF 7 cells. Conclusion OP possesses estrogenic activity to stimulate the proliferation of MCF 7 cells. The mechanism may be due to binding to the estrogen receptor, which may have effect on cell proliferation and apoptosis.

Objective To investigate the effectiveness and safety of dexmedetomidine combining with sufentanyl in controlling PCIA after laryngeal carcinoma surgery. Methods One hundred laryngeal carcinoma patients (ASAⅠorⅡ) were randomly assigned into 2 groups (n = 50, in each group). Group SF: sufentanil 0.04 mg/(kg·h)+dolasetron 12.5 mg; Group DE: dexmedetomidine 0.1 mg/(kg·h) +sufentani 0.02 mg/(kg· h) +dolasetron 12.5 mg, in which all drugs were dissolved in 100 mL 0.9% normal saline. Parameters: Infusion speed 2 mL/h; PCIA dosage 0.5 mL each time; monitor time: 15 min. PCIA were administrated after anesthesia recovery; BP, HR, SpO2, RR, RPP, pain and sedation score, side effect formation rate at 4、12、24、48 h after surgery were also recorded. Results MAP, RPP and HR in group DE were significant decreased compared with group SF at each time point,(P < 0.05); VAS scores had no significant difference between the two groups(P >0.05); Ramsay calm scores in group DE were significant better than that in group SF at each time point after surgery (P < 0.05); Frequency of nausea, vomiting and chills in group DE were significant lower than those in group SF (P < 0.05). Conclusion Small dose dexmedetomidine combination with sufentanil administration in PCIA after laryngeal carcinoma surgery could acquire satisfied analgesic effect , also could eliminate the patient anxious mood , enhance the security in the perioperative period and improve the patients' satisfaction degree , whichis very suitable for multi mode analgesia acquirement.
