1. Comparison the therapeutic effect of intra-arterial thrombolysis and intravenous thrombolysis for acute ischemic cerebral infarction within 6 hours of onset: A meta-analysis
Chinese Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;8(3):113-118
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of intra-arterial thrombolysis and intravenous thrombolysis in the treatment of acute ischemic cerebral infarction through a meta-analysis. Methods: The literatures of the randomized controlled trials of using urokinase or recombinant tissue plasminogen activator for intra-arterial thrombolysis and intravenous thrombolysis in the treatment of acute ischemic cerebral infarction from January 1 ,2000 to August 5,2010 were reviewed. The primary outcome measures were the proportions of neurological improvement (basic cure + excellent results) in the intra-arterial thrombolysis and intravenous thrombolysis groups. The secondary outcome measures were the European Stroke Scale (ESS) scores after the treatment and the proportion of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage. The meta-analysis software, RevMan 4. 2 was applied for pooling the data of all the findings. Two reviewers extracted the data independently. Results: A total of 11 articles either from foreign or domestic sources and 723 patients with acute cerebral infarction were included, in which 305 patients underwent intra-arterial thrombolysis and 418 underwent intravenous thrombolysis. Circled digit oneThe total improvement rate of the intra-arterial thrombolysis was 70. 92% and that of intravenous thrombolysis was 61. 29%. There was significant difference between them (χ2 =4. 895,P < 0. 05). Amelioration of neurological function deficits in the intra-arterial thrombolysis group was significantly higher than that in the intravenous thrombolysis group ( OR = 1. 79, 95% CI 1. 19 -2.70, P=0. 005). ESS score within 24 hours after the thrombolysis was significantly higher in the intra-arterial thrombolysis group than that in the intravenous thrombolysis group ( WMD =7. 69, 95%CI;4. 80 - 10. 59,P <0.000 01 ). Circled digit twoThe rate of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage in the intra-arterial thrombolysis group was 7.54% and in the intravenous thrombolysis group was 6.94%. There was no significant difference between the two groups (χ2 = 0. 096, P > 0. 7 ). There was no significant difference in thrombolytic modes in the risk of complicating intracranial hemorrhage between the two groups (OR = 1. 12, 95% CI:0. 63 - 2.01,P = 0.69). Conclusion: The efficacy of intra-arterial thrombolysis for acute cerebral infarction is superior to that of intravenous thrombolysis, and both the incidences of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage is comparable. A large, high-quality randomized controlled trial is need for further verification.

OBJECTIVETo summarize laws of acupoint selection of prescriptions for treatment of cervicogenic headache by acupuncture in modern literature.
METHODSRandomized controlled trials (RCTs) involving acupuncture and moxibustion for treatment of cervicogenic headache were recruited from CBM (1978-2012), VIP (1989-2012), Wanfang Database (1998-2012), CNKI (1979-2012), PubMed (1966-2012), EMbase (1980-2012), and Cochrane Library (Volume 4, 2012). Hand recruitment was also auxiliarily used. The frequency and percentage of common acupoints, the distribution of acupoints along 14 meridians and across each part of the body, the application of specific acupoints, and features of using prescriptions for specific acupoints were statistically described.
RESULTSTotally 37 recruited papers included 42 acupoints and 159 times. Common acupoints covered Fengchi (GB20, 28 times), Jingjiaji (EX-B2, 21 times), Baihui (DU 20, 12 times), Tianzhu (BL9, 1 times), and Ashi point (11 times). Meridians along which acupoints were used mainly covered Foot-shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, Foot-taiyang Bladder Meridian, and DU meridian. Acupoints were mainly needled from head, neck, and upper limbs. Eight confluence points and luo-connecting point were commonest used as specific acupoints. Acupuncture prescriptions were mostly composed of multiple acupoints. Filliform needle was mainly used in acupuncture methods, followed by electro-acupuncture needle.
CONCLUSIONSModern acupuncture treatment of cervicogenic headache focuses on local specific points and acupoints along meridians. Acupoints were mostly selected from head, neck, and upper limbs by syndrome typing of Chinese medicine.

AIM:To investigate the role of nuclear factor ?B (NF ?B) in the induction of iNOS gene by TNF? and LPS in endothelial cells and the effect of antioxidant on the induction of iNOS. METHODS:Nitrite was determined based on Griess reaction. iNOS mRNA was analyzed using Northern blot. NF ?B in the cell nucleole was detected with electrophoretic mobility shift assay.RESULTS:(1)NO production and iNOS mRNA expression induced by LPS and TNF? was blocked by pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate(PDTC) or N-acetylcysteine(NAC). (2)LPS and TNF? triggered the activation and translocation of NF ?B, and PDTC or NAC inhibited the activation of NF ?B induced by LPS and TNF?.CONCLUSIONS:(1)The induction of iNOS gene by TNF? and LPS is dependent on the activation of NF ?B.(2)Antioxidants may inhibit the induction of iNOS gene through the inhibition of NF ?B activation.

Objective:To analyze clinical and pathological features of Reed nevi (pigmented spindle cell nevi) .Methods:The clinical and pathological data were collected from 26 patients with Reed nevi, who visited Department of Dermatology of Xijing Hospital from January 2015 to June 2019, and analyzed retrospectively. Results:Among the 26 patients, 15 were males, and 11 were females. Their average age of onset was 17.35 years, and median age of onset was 13.85 years. Reed nevi occurred predominantly on the lower limbs (12 cases) , followed by the face (6 cases) , upper limbs (5 cases) and trunk (3 cases) . All the skin lesions were black in color, and 7 cases presented with maculae, 19 with flat papules, 22 with quasi-circular skin lesions, and 4 with irregular skin lesions. The diameter of skin lesions ranged from 2 to 10 mm, and 23 cases had skin lesions with a diameter of ≤ 5 mm. As histopathological examination showed, pathological subtypes included junctional nevus (15 cases) and compound nevus (11 cases) ; melanocytes were spindle-shaped with obvious cytochromes in 26 cases; nevus cell nests merged with the surrounding epidermis in 4 cases, and obvious fissures were formed between nevus cell nests and the surrounding epidermis in 22 cases; no obvious cell atypia or mitotic figure was observed in any of the 26 cases, and Kamino bodies were observed in 6 cases. All the skin lesions were resected by surgery, and no recurrence was observed during the follow-up of 1 - 5 years. Conclusion:Reed nevi can manifest as irregular lesions, pagetoid distribution of spindle cells of various sizes can be observed histopathologically, and they need to be differentiated from melanoma.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression level of HOTAIR and cellular radiosensitivity in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Methods Four ESCC cell lines ( K150, K450, TE-1, and Eca109 ) were used in this study. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction was applied to measure the expression level of HOTAIR in the above cell lines;colony-forming assay was applied to measure the survival fraction of different cells irradiated by different doses of X-ray. The t-test or analysis of variance was applied for analysis of differences. The correlation analysis was used by Pearson methods. Results The four cell lines all showed high expression levels of HOTAIR and radioresistance. Compared with the other three cell lines, Eca109 had a lower expression level of HOTAIR, a lower survival fraction at each radiation dose point, and significantly lower D0 and Dq . The mRNA expression level of HOTAIR and radiosensitivity were K150

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2015;(5):378-382
Objective:To explore whether there will be attentional bias under the condition of fear, disgust and positive emotional arousal. Methods:Totally 96 college students were selected as participants in this study,inclu-ding 60 males and 36 femalesaged 18-22 years. Affective priming videos were adopted to prime participants'emo-tion (dread, disgust, joviality),and then they named the color of the cognitive words (positive words, negative words, neutral words)as quickly and accurately as possible. Reaction time and correctness were recorded. E-prime was adopted to write the experimental program. The reaction time for neutral words was baseline. Results:The aver-age reaction time (RT)of color-naming tasks of negative words were shorter than that of neutral words after fright-ening affective priming[(648 ±118)ms vs. (743 ±124)ms,P<0. 01]. Furthermore, the average RT of color-na-ming tasks of positive words were also shorter than that of neutral after frightening affective priming[(683 ±123) ms vs. (743 ±124)ms,P<0. 05]. The average RT of color-naming tasks of negative words were shorter than that of neutral words after disgusting affective priming[(579 ±86)ms vs. (720 ±101 )ms;P<0. 01 ]. Moreover, the av-erage RT of color-naming tasks of positive words were shorter than that of neutral words after delighted affective priming[(634 ±122)ms vs. (716 ±141)ms;P<0. 01]. Furthermore, the average RT of disgusting priming group-were shorter than the frightening priming grouptowards negative information[(579 ±86)ms vs. (648 ±118)ms,P<0. 05 ]. Conclusion:It suggests that the youth perform more obvious attentional bias towards negative information after disgusting affective priming than the frightening one. Frightening affective priming could evidently induce the attentional bias on positive information.
