Objective To examine the inhibitory effect of IL-2-PE40 on the mouse corneal allograft rejection. Methods A mouse corneal graft model was set up by using C57BL/6 mice as donors and Balb/c mice as recipients. In the treatment group, IL-2-PE40 (0.6 μg/g body weight) was intraperitoneally injected from the day of surgery every 12 h until rejection happened. In the control group, the equal volume of PS was injected intraperitoneally at the corresponding time points. The transplanted cornea was observed under slit-lamp twice a week and the transplanted corneal opacity and neovascularization were rated according to Horis grading standards. It led to the determination of rejection response. The survival of transplanted cornea was regarded to be stopped when the rejection occurred. The operated eyes were observed historically on the 10th, 15th, 25th and 35th day after the surgery, and the peripheral blood was collected for measurement of T cell subgroups and T lymphocyte colonies. Results The survival time of cornea in the treatment and control groups was (30.2±2.9) days and (15.1±2.1) days respectively. In the control group, rejection occurred on the 15th day after the surgery, CD4~+ cells started rise right after the surgery and increased most obviously on the 15th day [(63.9±4.0)%] and decreased afterwards. CD4~+ cells in the treatment group were increased slightly [(42.6±4.0)%] on the 15th day. The number of CD4~+ cells in the treatment group was obviously less than in the control group (P<0.01). No significant changes in CD8~+ cells were observed in both groups. The number of T lymphocyte colonies in the control group was increased at the beginning and dropped then. No obvious change was found in the treatment group. The number of T lymphocyte colonies in the treatment group was significantly less than in the control group (P＜0.01). Conclusion IL-2-PE40 is a highly specific immunosuppressive agent. It can delay the development of corneal graft rejection and reduce the percentage of T-helper cells significantly. It also works to weaken the forming capacity of the peripheral T lymphocyte colonies.

AIM: To observe the changes in contrast sensitivity (CS) between emmetropic pilots, glasses wearing, and after laser in situ keratomileuses ( LASIK) surgery pilots, provide the basis for the physical examination standard after operation.
METHODS:The CS of 13 emmetropic pilots (26 eyes), 12 glasses wearing pilots (24 eyes) and 10 with LASIK (20 eyes) , under photopic, scotopic and scotopic with glare environments at four different spatial frequencies ( 3, 6, 12 and 18cpd ) were measured and the resluts were analyzed by statistics.
RESULTS:Under photopic environments, there was no significant difference in the low spatial frequency (3cpd) among the three groups (P>0. 05). The CS of emmetropic pilots was better than that of the myopic and with LASIK, and there was significant difference (P<0. 05). There was no significant difference in CS between myopic and with LASIK (P>0. 05). Under scotopic environments, there was no significant difference in the low spatial frequency (3cpd)among the three groups (P>0. 05). The CS of emmetropic and with LASIK pilots were better than that of the myopic, and there was significant difference ( P<0.05). There was no significant difference in CS between emmetropic and with LASIK (P>0. 05). Under scotopic with glare environments, the CS of emmetropic and myopic pilots were better than that of the with LASIK, and there was significant difference (P<0. 05). There was no significant difference in CS between myopic and with LASIK (P>0. 05).
CONCLUSION: The CS after LASIK is decreased compare with emmetropic pilot, specially under scotopic with glare environments. A perfect identification standard should be set up.

Objective To investigate the neurosurgery nurses turnover intention and the psychological contract status to analyze the relationship between them. Methods The Departure Will Scale and Questionnaire of Psychological Contract were used to survey 128 neurosurgery nurses from seven general hospitals in Lishui city. Results Of neurosurgery nurses turnover intention scale was (2.24±0.71) points, whose leaving intend was stronger;Psychological contract items was (4.17±0.67) points, which organization responsibility score wasbelow employees responsibility; Hierarchical regression analysis showed that the psychological contract in the organization responsibility (organization specification responsibility, organization, personal responsibility and organizational development responsibility) could predict neurosurgery nurses′ willingness to leave, which could be able to explain their willingness to leave 13.5%of the variation. Conclusions Neurosurgery nurses′willingness to leave is strong, and psychological contract is an important factors affecting the will of their departure.

Objective To investigate the projects and effects of the comprehensive and conservative treatment of patients with keen osteoarthritis and meniscus injury.Methods 120 patients with keen osteoarthritis and meniscus injury were randomly divided into the control group A(n =40),B(n =40)and comprehensive treatment group C(n =40).Patients in group A were treated with ozone and glass sodium injection;Patients in group B were treated with ozone,glass sodium and Triamcinolone Acetonide injection;Patients in group C were treated with ozone, glass sodium and Triamcinolone Acetonide injection,superlaser local irradiation,glucosamine tablet oral,Lornoxicam intravenous injection.The effects of the treatment according to keen joints function scores were compared after two weeks and six months.Patients in group C were randomly divided into group C1(n =20)and group C2(n =20)after one year,patients in group C1 with the same treatment as patients in group A and oral glucosamine tablet for one course of treatment,patients in group C2 without any further treatment.The follow up was completed for two years. Results The excellent and good rate in group C was better than that of group B and group C after two weeks (70.0%,22.5%,42.5%,χ2 =18.152,6.146,P <0.01 or P <0.05).After six month,the excellent and good rate in group C was better than that of group A and group B (87.5%,42.5%,60.0%,χ2 =17.802,7.813,all P <0.01).There was no significant difference between group C1 and group C2 after one years(t1 =2.014,P <0.01). There was significant difference between group C1 and group C2 after two years(t2 =16.152,P <0.01).Conclusion The effects of comprehensive conservative treatment are better than simple keen joint injection in patients with keen osteoarthritis and meniscus injury.The function of keen joint with maintenance care treatment is better than without maintenance care.Comprehensive conservative and maintenance care treatment is a good clinical treatment project.

Objective To explore whether living in rural areas may reduce the risk of atopic sensitization. Methods The standardized questionnaires were answered by the parents of 2 986 school children during 2004 to 2005. Radioallergosorbent technique-fluorescence enzyme immunoassay (RAST-FEIA) was used to determine the level of specific IgE in the serum of the children. The risk factors were analyzed by Logistic regression. Results Compared with the subjects living in the towns from birth, the risk of atopic sensitization was lowest in the subjects living in the villages from birth (OR=0.32, 95%CI: 0.11-0.62) and it was moderate in the subjects who had relocated from village to town (OR=0.51, 95%CI: 0.28-0.92), there was a significant trend among them (P for trend

Objective To investigate the role of platelet rich plasma (PRP) on free fat graft's survival in a rat model.Methods Twenty-four rats were used in the experiment.For each rat,three groups of free fat grafts were injected into the subcutaneous layer of dorsum.Group A was the control group with 0.5 ml fat and 0.12 ml normal saline.Group B received 0.5 ml fat and 0.1 ml PRP with 0.02 ml normal saline.Group C was given combination of 0.5 ml fat and 0.1 ml PRP which was activated by 0.02 ml calcium chloride.Eight rats were euthanised using pentobarbital sodium each time,1,2 and 3 months after fat transplantation.Specimens were acquired and stained with haematoxylineeosin,and then the histological changes examined using light microscopy.All the data were statistically analysed using paired t test to determine if there were differences between the study groups.Results Compared the volume of the fat grafts at 1 month,there was no deference between the groups(P＞0.05).However,the diameter of group C was significantly higher than group A (P＜0.05).On histological examination,larger vascular density was observed in group C compared with group A at 1 month (P＜0.05).And reduced inflammatory reaction was also observed in group C at 3 months(P＜0.05).While other histological parameters were not statistically significant (P＞0.05).Conclusions PRP does not enhance the survival of fat graft in the Wistar rat model.

Colorectal cancer is a common malignant tumor in the gastrointestinal tract, with the characteristics of high morbidity and mortality. Studies have shown that the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer is closely related to the abnormal activation of Wnt signaling pathway. Abnormal expression of β-catenin in Wnt pathway is found both in the cytoplasm and nucleus of tumor cells. Different drugs can target the Wnt signaling pathway and its upstream and downstream related factors to inhibit or suppress the development of colorectal cancer. We review the components of Wnt signaling pathway, and the correlation between Wnt signaling pathway and colorectal cancer. Then, we summarize the current status of drug research targeting the Wnt signaling pathway in colorectal cancer. Finally, the challenges and prospects of these methods and drugs were briefly summarized.

Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) are fibrous structures released by neutrophils and the formation process is called NETosis. NETs participate in the host innate immunity. Recent research has found that NETs is a double-edged sword. Under normal conditions, the formation of NETs can play a role in clearing pathogens and maintain the host homeostasis. However, when NETs are overproduced or not cleared in time, they can take part in the pathogenesis of many diseases. This article reviewed the formation of NETs, the mechanisms involved in NETosis and the role of NETs in the secretion of multiple cytokines in different diseases.
