International Journal of Surgery 2016;43(12):817-820,封3
Objective To comparatively complete clinical effectiveness of laparoscopic and open-bifemoral bypass in the treatment of advanced atherosclerosis. Methods During January 2008 to January 2013,according to the treatment method,a total of 60 patients with advanced atherosclerosis patients were divided into group A and group B,and there were 30 cases in each group, and group A was treated with open master bifemoral bypass surgery, and group B was treated with laparoscopic totally master bifemoral bypass surgery,to compare the general information of the two groups, surgery related indicators, clinical efficacy and survival rate, and to analyze the effect of surgical treatment on the prognosis of patients by COX model. Results The operation time of patients in group B (365.3 ±41.3) min and aortic clamping time (59.5 ± 18.3) min were significantly higher than that of group A,(294.3 ±35.5) min and(26.5 ± 19.3) min (P <0.05),bleeding amount (400.0 ± 145.3) ml and length of hospital stay (10.5 ± 2.1) d of group B patients was significantly lower than that of group A (1 002.3 ± 324.3) ml and (16.4 ± 4.3) d (P < 0.05);postoperative mortality, thrombosis rate and the incidence of serious complications of patients in group B were significantly lower than group A (P < 0.05);survival rate at different time of group B was significantly higher than that of group A (P < 0.05);COX model analysis show that the surgical methods affect the postoperative mortality, thrombosis and the occurrence of severe complications. Conclusions Completely laparoscopic master bifemoral bypass can significantly decreased advanced main iliac artery occlusion disease mortality, and has small surgical trauma, less postoperative complications, rapid recovery and other advantages, especially for elderly critically ill patients, and it was worthy of clinical application.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
Objective To develop a biodegradable intestinal anastomose stent which have independence intellectual proper-ty rights and investigate the method by which clinicians could improve the research and development of the new surgical instruments. Methods SolidWorks software was used to turn the design ideas into 3D format on computer, and the engi-neering drawing was applied for patent before being submitted to manufacturers. Results Engineering drawing met the re-quirements of patent application and production, and then the model smoothly entered into animal experiments. Conclusion The clinicians can be studied and utilized some kinds of computer aided design(CAD) software so as to not only avoid lost of modifications during trial production, but also shorten the design cycle and improve production efficiency.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 1994;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the inhibitory effects of Propionibacterium acnes (P.acnes) by 22 effective components of traditional Chinese medicines. Methods The susceptibility tests of P.acnes to 22 effective components of traditional Chinese medicines were performed. Results P.acnes was highly sensitive to both eugenol and cineole, and moderately sensitive to baicalin, emodin and others. The number of bacteria per oil field decreased obviously under microscopy and bacteriolysis was found after the treatment with those components. Conclusion Eugenol, cineole and other components of traditional Chinese medicines can inhibit P.acnes in vitro.

Objective To evaluate the methylation status of RASSF2A in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) tissues and plasma, and to explore the correlations in two kinds of samples with clinicopathological characteristics. Methods The frequency of methylation of the RASSF2A gene in tissues and corresponding plasma samples from 60 EOC patients, 20 patients with benign ovarian tumors and 10 patients with normal ovarian tissues were detected respectively. The methylation-specific PCR was used to determine the methylation status. Results The frequency of aberrant methylation of RASSF2A was 58.3% (35/60) in EOC tissues and 43.3%(26/60) in corresponding plasma samples respectively, however, such hypermethylation was not detected in the benign ovarian tumors and normal ovarian samples, and there was significant difference between them (P<0.05). Besides, RASSF2A methylation levels in serum of EOC patients correlated reasonably well with methylation status in tumor samples (r=0.739, P=0.000). No significant differences were observed between the promoter hypermethylated status of the RASSF2A and clinicopathological characteristics (P>0.05). Conclusions The promoter methylation of RASSF2A gene is an early and frequent epigenetic event in EOC. Detection of promoter hypermethylation in plasma specimens can help the early diagnosis of EOC.

Mitochondria, the power house of cells, are important organelles in eukaryotic cells. Having their own unique and complete DNA (mtDNA) and genetic system, mitochondria play an essential role in cellular energy metabolism, intracel?lular signaling and apoptotic pathways, as well as many other biological functions, which are closely related with cellular met?abolic network. A disruption of mitochondrial genes can therefore result in mitochondrial dysfunction and human diseases, thus they have been widely used in molecular biology, development biology, genetics, forensic identification and clinical diag?nosis. Consequently, sequencing mitochondrial genome has shown great significance in mitochondrial structure and function research. In this review, research progress in mitochondrial genome sequencing method is summarized, mainly focusing on Sanger sequencing, long-PCR and next-generation sequencing. Also rolling circle amplification and indirect sequencing of mtDNA are reviewed. The ambiguities caused by numts in indirect sequencing are mentioned and resolved.

Objective To explore the effect of electroacupuncture intervention on tumor growth and PCNA expression in HepG2 nude mice. Methods Thirty-two nude mice were randomized to electroacupuncture, electrostimulation, model and blank control groups, 8 mice each. A nude mouse model of subcutaneous tumor was made with HepG2. The electroacupuncture group received electroacupuncture at points Zusanli and Sanyinjiao on bilateral lower limbs and the electrostimulation group, direct electrical stimulation of the same points. The tumor volume, the tumor/weight ratio and the tumor growth inhibition rate were observed. PCNA expression in the tumor tissue was determined. Results There was no statistically significant pre-/post-intervention difference in the tumor volume in the electroacupuncture, electrostimulation and model groups (P>0.05). There was no statistically significant post-intervention difference in the tumor volume between the electroacupuncture or electrostimulation group and the model group (P>0.05), but tumor growth tended to slow in the electroacupuncture group. There was no statistically significant pre-/post-intervention difference in the nude mouse weight in every group (P>0.05). There was a statistically significant post-intervention difference in the tumor/weight ratio between the electroacupuncture group and the electrostimulation or model group (P<0.05), but no statistically significant post-intervention difference in the tumor/weight ratio between the electrostimulation and model groups (P>0.05). There was a statistically significantpost-intervention difference in the tumor growth inhibition rate between the electroacupuncture and electrostimulation groups (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant post-intervention difference in the PCNA expression level between the electroacupuncture or electrostimulation group and the model group (P<0.05), no statistically significant post-intervention difference in the PCNA expression level between the electroacupuncture and electrostimulation groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture can delay HepG2 tumor growth to a certain extent.
