4.The protective effect of dexmedetomidine against focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats and its mechanism
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2016;(2):117-121
Objective To explore the neuroprotective effect of dexmedetomidine ( Dex) in rats ex-posed to focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion ( I/R) induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion ( MCAO) and the possible mechansims. Methods Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to MCAO for 90 min followed by reperfusion for 24 h and Dex ( 15μg? kg-1 ) was infused through the left femoral vein im-mediately after the onset of MCAO.The PI3K inhibitor LY294002 ( LY,10 mM,10 μl) or eNOS inhibitor L-NIO ( 1 mg? kg-1 ,10μl) was intracerebroventricular administered before ischemia using a microinjecton. The neurological deficit score, brain edema, cerebral infarct volume, and neuron survivals were evaluated after 24 h of reperfusion. The expression of p-Akt ( Ser473) and p-eNOS ( Ser1177) in the ischemic hemicere-brum was detected by Western Blot. Results Compared with I/R group, the neurological deficit score,cere-bral infarct volume, and the degree of brain edema were significantly reduced in the rats treated with Dex ((2.3±0.4) vs (3.9±0.6),(19.3±3.5)%vs (40.5±5.4)%,(61.8±8.1)%vs (76.3±8.5)%,all P<0.05)re-spectively,and the number of survival neuron in the hippocampal CA1 and cortex was significantly increased ((136.5±15.8)/mm vs (53.5±7.9)/mm,(253.8±26.4)/mm3vs (112.5±14.6)/mm3,all P<0.01) respec-tively.The neuroprotection in DEX group was significantly inhibited by LY and L-NIO ( P<0.05) .In addi-tion,the expression of p-Akt and p-eNOS in the ischemic hemicerebrum was markly reduced in LY group compared with that in DEX group ((3.94±0.45) vs (0.85±0.21),(2.14±0.25) vs (0.79±0.29),all P<0.01) ,while there was no significant difference in the expression of p-Akt in the ischemic hemicerebrum be-tween L-NIO group and DEX group ((3.76±0.33) vs (3.94±0.45), P>0.05).Conclusion Dex can reduce cerebral injury in rats exposed to focal I/R,which is mediated by the activation of PI3K/Akt-eNOS pathway.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2014;37(z1):75-77
Objective To investigate the of dural reconstruction plates for treatment of humeral intercandylar fracture. Methods The 52 cases with humeral intercandylar fracture were treated with dural reconstruction plates internal fixation.Watched the clinical efficacy Postoperative in outpatient, and guide early exercise of elbow.Result Using Elbow Scoring Standard System to assess:16 cases of C1,excellent and good in 14 cases, fair in 2 cases, and 87.5% excellent and good results were obtained.Twenty-four cases of C2,excellent and good in 20 cases, fair in 4 cases, and 83.3% excellent and good results were obtained.Twelve cases of C3,excellent and good in 6 cases, fair in 2 cases, and poor in 4 case, and 50.0% excellent and good results were obtained.Fifty-two cases were followed up,excellent and good in 40 cases, fair in 8 cases, and poor in 4 case, and 76.9% excellent and good results were obtained. Conclusion Dural reconstruction plates internal fixation was the relatively effective method for treatment of humural intercandylar fracture.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2004;0(10):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the antimicrobial-resistant profile of sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim(SXT) resistant Staphylococcus aureus.METHODS The strains of S.aureus(SAU) were isolated from clinical specimens by routine methods. The identification and susceptibility test of the isolates were determined by Automated Microbiology Analyzer.Disk-diffusion was used for detecting meticillin-resistant S.aureus(MRSA).?2 Test was made to identify the significance of difference.RESULTS 68.0% Of isolates were referred as MRSA.The resistant rates of the isolates of SAU to SXT was 30.8%.The resistant rate of the isolates of MRSA and MSSA to SXT were 27.4% and 38%.60.5% And 71.3% of isolates were referred as MRSA from the SXT-resistant group and MRSA from the SXT-sensitive group. The resistant rate of MRSA from the group of SXT-resistant to tetracycline, levofloxacin and rifampicin were all significantly lower than those of isolates from the SXT-sensitive group(all P

Objective To evaluate the outcomes of thoracoscopy-assisted mini-incision procedure in patients with lung cancer. Methods From January 2003 to June 2003,66 patients with non-small cell lung cancer were treated in our hospital by lobectomy combined with mediastinal lymph node resection using thoracoscopy-assisted mini-incision(36 patients,VATS Group)or traditional surgery(30 patients, traditional group). The clinical and follow-up data of the two groups were compared after the operation. Results No significant difference was found in the operation time between the VATS and traditional groups(114.6?47.4)min vs(123.3?43.9)min,t=-0.768,P=0.449],while the postoperative hospital stay of the VATS group was significantly shorter than that in the traditional group (9.2?1.4)d vs(10.5?1.7)d,t=-3.408,P=0.001].Log-rank test showed that the survival curve in the two groups was comparable(?2=0.270,P=0.605).Cox regression model indicated that the pathological characteristics(risk ratio:3.912,P=0.000),TNM stage(risk ratio:3.737,P=0.000),and lymph node metastasis(risk ratio:15.495,P=0.000)were independent, unfavorable prognostic factors for the disease;whereas,no relation was detected between the thoracotomy incision and prognosis(P=0.414).Conclusions Thoracoscopy-assisted mini-incision procedure is a safe and reliable approach for patients with lung cancer with satisfying outcomes.
