Objective: To study the health effects of selenium tea on cardiovascular system. Methods : Four groups of Wistar rats were fed standard diet and water, standard diet and selenium tea , high fat diet and water ,high fat diet and selenium tea respectively. Twelve weeks later, the plasma apoA , apoB, body weight, whole blood viscosity , plasma viscosity , and hematorcrit were determined while plasma fibrinogen and inhibition of erythrocyte aggregation were calculated. Results: At the end of the experiment ,the plasma apoA level of selenium tea groups was significantly higher than that of control group, while the ratio of apoB/apoA was significantly lower than that of control group. Selenium tea decreased the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and inhibited erythrocyte aggregation and body weight. Conclusion: Selenium tea could significantly improve the lipoprotein metabolism and hermorrheology and decrease body weight of the rats fed high fat diet.

Objective To explore the regularity and characteristics of violence-related injury. Method Data from the injury surveillance in the Emergency Medicine department of Nan-shan hospital was used in this study. Data of all injured patients, who admitied to the emergency department between 1 January 2004 to 31 November 2005, was analysed. Results During the study period, 25376 injured patients were collected and 12280 (48.4%) were violence-related injury patients. The male to female ratio was 2.4: 1. Most of patients were aged 15～44 years old, accouting for 79.9%. The majority of the violence-related patients were wonters, accounting for 59%, most injuries were open wounds and occurred in working places, injuries occurred most during 13 pm to 18 pm. Conclusions Analysis of data from the violence injury surveillance in emergency department can be an aid for the depiction of the overall severe injury profile in area and, in this way, it will be essential for the implementation of properly preventive and controlling measures, despite some limitation. It is urgent to explore and develop an violence injury surveillance system to cope China's milieu.

Objective This study is to understand the effects of RGD\|peptide(224), Echistatin and 17 ? estrodiol on bone resorption. Methods RGD\|polypeptide (224) (RGD), Echistatin(Ech) and 17 ? estrodiol (E\-2) were added into osteoclast like cells (OLC) and ivory bone slices co\|cultured system. Results It has been found that 10 -7 mol/L RGD, Ech and E\-2 decreased the number of resorption lacunae, resorption area and resorption cave on bone slices in various degrees.Conclusion RGD, Ech and E\-2 inhibits the bone resorption activities in various degrees. Objective To investigate the status of psychosomatic health on the aged in reservoir area of three gorges .Study men-tal sub-health population distribution and the related influencing factors of the aged .Methods 604 elderly of reservoir area of three gorges were investigated by using self-made general questionnaire ,Cornell Medical Index(CMI) ,Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-R Short Scale(EPQ-RSC) ,Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) ,Activities of daily living (ADL) ,Memorial University of Newfound-land Scale of Happiness(MUNSH) .Results 14 .7% aged′s mental health was in the sub-healthy status .Older age ,low education level ,no spouse ,urban elderly people were higher in mental sub-healthy .There was significant difference between mental sub-healthy group and mental healthy group in the aspect of personality 、social support、subjective well-being、activities of daily living (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The elderly psychosomatic health status of the Three Gorges Reservoir area is good ,with low incidence of mental sub-health ,their psychosomatic health more affected by the state of mind .

Objective To explore the association between fibrinogen gene polymorphism(rs1049636) and serum γ′ fibrinogen level and ischemic stroke (IS) .Methods 421 IS patients and 421 age‐and gender‐ matched healthy controls ,including 283 males and 138 females ,were recruited in this assay .The plasma γ′fibrinogen concentration was measured by enzyme‐linked immunosor‐bent assay (ELISA) .Fibrinogen gene polymorphism(rs1049636) were genotyped by using PCR‐LDR assay .Results γ′fibrinogen concentrations in IS patients[(159 .4 ± 97 .4)U/dL] were significantly higher than that in control group[(114 .2 ± 73 .0)U/dL] with statistically significant difference(P<0 .001) .Single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) analysis showed that rs1049636 C allele was significantly associated withγ′fibrinogen level ,but not associated with increased risk of IS(P=0 .077) .Conclusion An associ‐ation between increasedγ′fibrinogen level and IS existed in Chinese Han population .However ,no association between rs1049636 C allele and IS risk was observed in our study .

After culturing for 24 hours the cell viability was detected by CCK 8 colorimetric method and the concentration of TCM ） -， - stimulation was screened. ii L02 cells in logarithmic growth phase were randomly divided into control group and low medium - ， ， ， and high dose groups. After 24 hours of exposure to 0 4 8 and 12 mmol/L TCM the cells were collected. The activity of （ ）， （ ）， （ - ） （ ） superoxide dismutase SOD catalase CAT glutathione peroxidase GSH Px and the level of malondialdehyde MDA NRF2， - （HO-1）， were detected by colorimetric analysis. The mRNA expression levels of heme oxygenase 1 glutamate cysteine （GCLC） （） （NQO1） - ligase catalytic subunit and NAD P H quinone dehydrogenase 1 were detected by real time fluorescence ， - ， polymerase chain reaction. The relative expression level of mRNA and GCLC NQO1 （ P ） protein expression in L02 cells in the three doses groups increased compared with the control group all <0.05 . The relative NRF2 - - - expression level of mRNA in L02 cells in the high dose group was higher than that in the low and medium dose groups （ P ）， - （P ）， both <0.05 and the relative expression of NRF2 protein was higher than that in the low dose group <0.05 but the HO-1 GCLC - - （ relative expression levels of and mRNA and HO 1 protein level were lower than those in the medium dose group all P ）Conclusion - <0.05 . TCM exposure can inhibit the proliferation of L02 cells by inducing oxidative stress with a dose effect ， relationship. In this process the antioxidant mechanism mediated by NRF2 was activated. The expression of antioxidant defense ， - ， and detoxification related target genes downstream of NRF2 signaling pathway was activated and the expression of HO 1 - GCLC and NQO1 was up regulated to alleviate the oxidative damage caused by TCM.

Background:Surgical treatment of both-column acetabular fractures is challenging because of the complex acetabular fracture patterns and the curved surface of the acetabulum.Seldom study has compared the application of three-dimensional (3D) printing technology and traditional methods of contouring plates intra-operatively for the surgical treatment of both-column acetabular fractures.We presented the use of both 3D printing technology and a virtual simulation in pre-operative planning for both-column acetabular fractures.We hypothesized that 3D printing technology will assist orthopedic surgeons in shortening the surgical time and improving the clinical outcomes.Methods:Forty patients with both-column acetabular fractures were recruited in the randomized prospective case-control study from September 2013 to September 2017 for this prospective study (No.ChiCTR1900028230).We allocated the patients to two groups using block randomization (3D printing group,n =20;conventional method group,n =20).For the 3D printing group,1:1 scaled pelvic models were created using 3D printing,and the plates were pre-contoured according to the pelvic models.The plates for the conventional method group were contoured during the operation without 3D printed pelvic models.The operation time,instrumentation time,time of intra-operative fluoroscopy,blood loss,number of times the approach was performed,blood transfusion,post-operative fracture reduction quality,hip joint function,and complications were recorded and compared between the two groups.Results:The operation and instrumentation times in the 3D printing group were significantly shorter (130.8 ± 29.2 min,t =-7.5,P ＜ 0.001 and 32.1 ± 9.5 min,t =-6.5,P ＜ 0.001,respectively) than those in the conventional method group.The amount of blood loss and blood transfusion in the 3D printing group were significandy lower (500 [400,800] mL,Mann-Whitney U=74.5,P ＜ 0.001 and 0 [0,400] mL,Mann-Whitney U =59.5,P ＜ 0.001,respectively) than those in the conventional method group.The number of the approach performed in the 3D printing group was significantly smaller than that in the conventional method group (pararectus + Kocher-Langenbeck [K-L] approach rate:35％ vs.85％;X2 =10.4,P ＜ 0.05).The time of intra-operative fluoroscopy in the 3D printing group was significantly shorter than that in the conventional method group (4.2 ± 1.8 vs.7.7 ± 2.6 s;t =-5.0,P ＜ 0.001).The post-operative fracture reduction quality in the 3D printing group was significantly better than that in the conventional method group (good reduction rate:80％ vs.30％;X2 =10.1,P ＜ 0.05).The hip joint function (based on the Harris score 1 year after the operation) in the 3D printing group was significantly better than that in the conventional method group (excellengood rate:75％ vs.30％;x2 =8.1,P ＜ 0.05).The complication was similar in both groups (5.0 ％ vs.25 ％;x2=3.1,P =0.182).Conclusions:The use of a pre-operative virtual simulation and 3D printing technology is a more effective method for treating bothcolumn acetabular fractures.This method can shorten the operation and instrumentation times,reduce Mood loss,blood transfusion and the time of intra-operative fluoroscopy,and improve the post-operative fracture reduction quality.
