AIM: To study the clinical effect of implantation of multifocal intraocular lens ( lOL ) combined with cataract extraction and lOL in cataract patients.
●METHODS:A total of 86 cases ( 86 eyes ) of cataract patients admitted to our hospital from Feb. 2014 to Mar. 2015 were divided into two groups according to the order of admission, each of 43 cases. The 43 patients with cataract extraction combined with non spherical astigmatism correction type monofocal lOL implantation for the treatment as the control group, the other 43 patients with cataract extraction combined with aspheric toric multifocal lOL implantation were treated as the observation group. After 1y of follow- up, the visual acuity, astigmatism and the contrast sensitivity of the two groups were observed.
●RESULTS: There was no difference in visual acuity between two groups (P>0. 05). Postoperative observation group of uncorrected near visual acuity ( UCNVA ) was significantly better than the control group (P<0. 05), and the other indexes were not different (P>0. 05). There was no difference in astigmatism between the two groups before and after operation ( P> 0. 05 ). There was no difference in contrast sensitivity between two groups ( P>0. 05). The contrast sensitivity of the control group was better than that of the observation group (P<0. 05), and the rest had no difference (P>0. 05).
● CONCLUSION: Astigmatism correction multifocal intraocular lens on corneal astigmatism after surgery has a good effect, the naked eye near visual effect is better, the rest of the visual acuity is stable, good visual quality, worthy of clinical application and promotion.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of lasting methylene blue staining in precise hepatectomy.Methods The clinical data of 21 patients with liver cancer who received precise hepatectomy after methylene blue staining at General Hospital of PLA from February to August in 2009 were retrospectively analyzed.After the hepatic pedicle Was dissected,methylene blue WaS injected into the portal vein,and then the hepatic pedicle was ligated.Parenchymal division is initiated along the line of devascularization demarcated on Glisson capsule.Results The success rate of methylene blue staining Was 100%.Methylene blue retained in the parenchyma for(80±23)minutes.Right hepatectomy was performed on 2 patients,left hepatectomy on 1,right posterior lobectomy on 2,right anterior lobectomy on 3,left lateral lobectomy on 1,segmentectomy of segment Ⅷon 2,segmentectomy of segment Ⅶ on 3,segmentectomy of segment Ⅵ on 1,segmentectomy of segment Ⅳ on 2 and combined segmentectomy on 4.The mean volume of blood loss,incidence of postoperative complications and postoperative hospital stay were(236±6)ml,14%(3/21)and(12±3)days.Conclusions Ligation of hepatic pedicle after methylene blue injection has the advantages of high success rate and lasting staining of parenchyma of liver.Especially,this staining method contributes to improve the precision of hepatectomy by guiding the segment selection during parenchyma transection.

Objective To investigate the impact of 1,25(OH)2D3 on histological changes and activation of STAT3 in BLM?induced pulmonary fibrosis mice. Methods 30 male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into control group ,BLM group and BLM+VD group. Mice in BLM group and BLM+VD group received intratracheal injection of BLM(3 U/kg). Control group were intratracheally injected equal volume of sterile saline. From the first day after the surgery,mice in BLM+VD group received intraperitoneal injection of VD (5μg/kg·d). After 21 days, H&E and Masson′s trichrome staining were carried out. Aschroft score were used to evaluate histological changes in lungs. IL?6,IL?4 and INF?γin BALF were assessed by Elisa. p?STAT3,α?SMA and Collagen I were detected by western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry. Results Fibrosis score and level of α?SMA,Collagen I in BLM group were significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05). However ,treatment with VD effectively at?tenuated fibrosis (P<0.05). IL?6 and IL?4 increased while INF?γwas decreased in BALF of BLM group (P<0.05). VD could ameliorate these changes. Upregulation and neuclear translocation of p?STAT3 were observed in BLM group,while VD intervention could inhibit phosphorylation of STAT3. Conclusions VD attenuate BLM?induced pulmonary fibrosis and regulate inflammatory cytokines probably by blocking STAT3 activation.

Objective To summarize our experience in performing modified hepatic outflow tract reconstruction in liver transplantation. Methods The clinical data of 142 cases of liver transplantation from Jan 1999 to Aug 2003 were analyzed retrospectively. Results Sixteen patients died postoperatively, mortality rate of this group was 11.27%. No hepatic outflow obstruction developed in this group. Two postoperative recipients have survived for more than four years, five recipients have survived for more than three years, thirty four for more than two years, thirty eight for more than one year. Conclusion This procedure has the advantage of less technique-related complications and time-saving.

Objective: To investigate the characteristics of intestinal microflora among flying personnel with hyperlipidemia, so as to provide insights into prevention of hyperlipidemia among flying personnel. Methods : Flying personnel diagnosed with hyperlipidemia in a sanatiorium from October 2020 to February 2021 were included in the hyperlipidemia group, while flying personnel with normal blood lipids during the same period served as controls. Subjects' age, family history, physical examinations and blood testing results were collected from both groups. Fecal samples were collected, and intestinal microflora was sequenced followed by bioinformatics analysis. The diversity and abundance of intestinal microflora were compared, and the key bacteria were screened using LEfSe analysis. Results: There were 29 subjects in the hyperlipidemia group with a median age (interquartile range) of 34 (12) years and 25 subjects in the control group with a median age (interquartile range) of 30 (12) years, and all subjects were men. There were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of age, flight duration, smoking, family history of metabolic diseases and waist circumference (P>0.05). The Shannon diversity index of intestinal microflora was lower in the hyperlipidemia group than in the control group (Z=4.370, P=0.026), and there was a significant difference in the overall structure of intestinal flora between the two groups, which were clustered into two groups. LEfSe analysis identified Herbaspirillum, Atopobium and Eggerthella as key microorganisms in the hyperlipidemia group, and Agathobacter, Dialister, norank_Eubacterium_coprostanoligenes_group, Alloprevotella and unclassified Bacteroidales as key microorganisms in the control group. Conclusions The species diversity and relative abundance of intestinal microflora are lower in flying personnel with hyperlipidemia than in those with normal blood lipids. Herbaspirillum, Atopobium and Eggerthella may be the key bacteria contributing to hyperlipidemia among flying personnel.

Objective To study the risk factors of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) in children and adolescents in Xi'an City.Methods HFRS laboratory confirmed cases aged under 16 from January 2013-December 2015 were selected,which were reported by Information System of Disease Prevention and Control of the People's Republic of China.A 1:1 matched case-control study was adopted to retrospective investigate the risk factors.Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze relationships between various factors and HFRS in single factor analysis,the influence factors in the single factor analysis with statistical significances were further analyzed in the multiple factors analysis.Results Eighty-eight matched pairs were investigated.Single factor Logistic regression analysis found that non-nuclear family [odds ratio (OR) =20.25,95％ confidence interval (CI):2.32-76.80],less hand washing frequency before meals (OR =3.67,95％CI:1.40-9.62),the river or pond around the place (OR =1.55,95％CI:1.32-2.94),sit on the hay and play (OR =1.36,95％CI:1.17-1.80),eating in the snack bar (OR =8.33,95％CI:1.78-9.47),do not spray water when sweeping the floor (OR =2.22,95％CI:1.24-4.12),living in the edge of village (OR =1.55,95％CI:1.32-2.94),and keeping pets in the home (OR =12.00,95％CI:1.12-28.84) were associated with HFRS.In multiple factors Logistic regression analysis,risk factors according to the contribution value from high to low in the order were keeping pets in the home (OR =5.40,95％CI:1.78-16.32),less hand washing frequency before meals (OR =3.96,95％CI:1.89-7.23),living in the edge of village (OR =2.42,95％CI:1.82-5.50),and the river or pond around the place (OR =2.21,95％CI:1.86-2.49).Conclusion Risk factors as keeping pets in the home,less hand washing frequency before meals,living in the edge of village,the river or pond around the place are likely risk factors of HFRS.
