1.Method for establishing chronic myocardial ischemic animal model
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(03):-
Animal models of chronic myocardial ischemia are more accordant with clinical pathological and physiological procession of ischemic cardiomyopathy, because they can be administrated more times and observed for a long time. The major methods to establish animal models include chronic coronary mechanically compressed, coronary embolismed, coronary ligated and high fat die. We should select the different kinds of animal and methods according to the different physiologicals characteristics in animal.

Objective To investigate the roles of hemopoietic stem cells (HSCs) in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. Methods HSCs were isolated from the bone marrow of a patient with psoriasis vulgaris and a normal human control. Forward- and reverse-subtracted cDNA libraries were constructed by using suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH) technique between HSCs from the patient and control. Bacterial PCR and dot hybridization were performed to screen for positive clones followed by gene sequencing, identification and functional analysis. Real time quantitative PCR was carried out to measure the mRNA expression of interferon-γ and thymosin 10 (TMSB10). Results Nine genes were screened from the forward-subtracted cDNA library which encoded interferon-γ, tyrosine phosphatase, SUMO1 activase, etc, and 8 genes including the TMSB10-encoding gene were screened from the reverse-subtracted cDNA library. The relative expression level of interferon-γ in HSCs from the patient was 47.5 times that in HSCs from the control, while the level of TMSB10 from the control was 22.6 times that from the patient. Conclusion The abnormal expression of 17 genes which encode interferon-γ, thyrosin, and so on, may be involved in the development of psoriasis.

Objective To evaluate three internal fixation methods in treatment of type C3 fractures of distal humerus. Methods From February 2002 to January 2005,73 cases of humeral intercondylar fractures were treated with single plating (Group A,21 cases),Y-shape plating (Group B,33 eases) and dual plating (Group C,19 cases).According to the AO/ASIF classification,73 cases belonged to type C3.The posterior midline incision and the approach of liguliform flap of musculus triceps brachii were used for all the cases. The recorded clinical data were reviewed to analyze effects of internal fixation methods, functions of the elbow and the complications. Results All the cases were followed up.The follow-ups ranged from 12 to 36 months, with an average of 22.3 months.By the end of the twelfth month, according to the Jupiter scoring system, the elhow function was excellent and good in 57.1% of cases in Group A,81.8% in Group B and 89.5% in Group C,the difference between Gronp A and Groups B and C being statistically significant(P<0.05).Meanwhile,according to Sodergard's criteria for failure of internal fixation system for intercondylar fracture of humerus, the failure rate was 33.3% in Group A,15,2% in Group B and 5.3% in Group C.The loosening or breakage rate in Group C was significantly lower than in Groups A and B (P<0.05),and that in Group B was obviously lower than in Group A (P<0.05).No incision necrosis or deep infection occurred. Conclusions The type C3 fractures of distal humerus should not he treated with single plating, because the functional outcome of elbow joint is poor, and the rate of loosening or breakage of internal fixation is higher than other fixation methods.Y-shape plating and dual plating are good for them, but Y-shape plating is not good for severe intercondytar comminnted fractures of the humerus, because its peculiar shape tends to lead to a higher rate of loosening.

Objective To explore the relationship between H.pylori (HP) infection and the functional dyspepsia (FD) by 4-lead electrogastrography (EGG). Methods The data of the gastric electrical activity of 163 children with FD, includ-ing 103 children with HP infection (group A), 60 without HP infection (group B) and 22 healthy controls (group C) were mea-sured by 4-lead EGG, which included normal slow wave percentage (N%), bradygastria percentage (B%), tachygastria per-centage (T%) and motilin uneven rhythm percentage (A%). EGG frequency and power examination included the main fre-quency (DF), the main power (DP) and postprandial/pre-prandial gastric electrical main power ratio (P/R). EGG data was compared between three groups. Results There was significant difference in pre-prandial and postprandial percentage of different slow wave frequency between group A and group B. There were no significant differences in pre-prandial and post-prandial changes of DF and DP between group A and group B. There was no significant difference in the pre-prandial and postprandial percentage change of different slow wave frequencies in 84 HP negative patients. But the significant change was found in pre-prandial and postprandial change of DF, DP and P/R. Conclusion The eradication of HP improved the gas-tric electrical activity and relieved the postprandial symptom in children with functional dyspepsia under HP infection.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2016;22(8):927-931
Objective To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with vibroacoustic therapy on upper limb spasticity post stroke. Methods From November, 2014 to November, 2015, 90 patients with upper limb spasticity post stroke were randomized into treat-ment group (acupuncture combined with vibroacoustic therapy), control 1 group (simple vibroacoustic therapy) and control 2 group (simple acupuncture) with 30 cases in each group. All the patients accepted routine fundamental treatment and rehabilitation training. The modified Ashworth Scale (MAS), Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) and modified Barthel Index (MBI) were used to assess the upper limb muscle ten-sion, motor function and activities of daily living before and four weeks after treatment. Results After treatment, MAS score decreased in all groups (Z>3.067, P<0.001), and FMA score and MBI score increased (t>3.326, P<0.01). MAS score decreased more (Z>2.919, P<0.01), and FMA score and MBI score increased more (P<0.05) in the treatment group than in the control groups after treatment. However, there was no significant difference between the control groups (P>0.05). The total effective rate was 80%in the treatment group, 50%in the control group 1 and 53%in the control group 2 (χ2=8.573, P=0.014), respectively. Conclusion Acupuncture combined with vibroacoustic therapy can alleviate the upper limb spasticity, and promote the recovery of motor function and activities of daily living.
