Objective To observe and analyze the correlation between the DNA methyltransferase-3B (DNMT3B) gene single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) rs 1569686 and the susceptibility to colorectal cancer (CRC) in Tianjin Han population.Methods A case-control study was performed.89 CRC patients and 94 normal controls were examined,and Sequenom MassArray system was applied to detect the genotype of rs1569686 in DNMT3B gene polymorphisms.The association results were analyzed of the SNP and CRC.Results The frequencies of genotypes TT,GT and GG at SNP rs1569686 were 74.2％,24.7％ and 1.1％ in CRC patients respectively,which there were no significant differences from that in controls(73.4％,23.4％ and 3.2％; P＞0.05).Conclusion It suggests that the SNP rs1569686 of DNMT3B gene may not be related to susceptibility of CRC in Tianjin Han population.

ObjectiveTo explore the change of ranges of abduction motion of hip joint in the simplified Taichi quan exercise.MethodsThe ranges of abduction motion of hip joint of 30 healthy male young subjects were measured using a goniometer.ResultsThe ranges of abduction motion of both hip joints had markedly exceeded their normal ranges of 0°-45°abduction motion during the exercise.ConclusionThe simplified Taichi quan can strengthen hip abductors to prevent and correct the deformity of hip adduction.

Objective To investigate the application value of multi-slice CT enterography (MSCTE)in diagnosing intestinal tuberculosis (ITB)and Crohn’s disease (CD).Methods MSCTE findings were retrospectively analyzed in 25 patients with ITB and in other 25 patients with CD diagnosed through endoscopy,pathologic examination and clinical follow-up.Statistical analysis was performed to find out the difference in CT findings between the ITB and CD.Results 25 patients with CD included the involved ileum in 23,involved duode-num and jejunum in 8,multiple segmental lesions in 20,asymmetrically thickened intestinal wall in 20,hierarchical reinforcement in 1 9,mesenteric vascular hyperplasia in 20,fibrofatty hyperplasia in 18,peritoneal abscess or fistula in 8,anal fistula in 1,and pseu-do-diverticulum formation in the intestinal wall on the opposite side of the mesentery in 2.Meanwhile,the other 25 patients with ITB included the involved terminal ileum in 25,symmetrically thickened intestinal wall in 23,annular enhancement of lymph nodes in 11,thickened peritoneum and omentum together with distinct enhancement,or intestinal adhesion,or ascites appeared in 15.The CD was more likely to represent multiple segmental lesions,asymmetrically thickened intestinal wall,hierarchical reinforcement,mesenteric vascular hyperplasia,fibrofatty hyperplasia,and peritoneal abscess or fistula formation (P <0.05).Meanwhile,the ITB was more likely to represent the lesion only in ileum,symmetrically thickened intestinal wall,and annular enhancement of lymph nodes (P <0.05).Conclusion MSCTE shows promising clinical application in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of CD and ITB.

Objective To analyze the clinical features of patients with IgG4-associated biliary and pancreatic diseases,and to improve the understanding of these diseases.Methods Nine cases of patients with IgG4-associated pancreatitis and cholangitis were analyzed retrospectively,which included clinical manifestations,serological examination,imaging test,pathology,treatment and prognosis.Results Of the 9 patients,8 were male,1 was female,the average age was 61 years old.Four cases were presented with jaundice,2 cases with jaundice and abdominal pain,2 cases with abdominal pain,and 1 case with diabetes.Serum IgG4 levels were 3.46-21.3 g/L (mean 9.743 g/L) in 6 cases,and which were higher than normal value,3 patients did not undergo blood test of IgG4.Nineteen auto-antibodies (including ANCA) were all negative in 9 cases.CA19-9 was increased in 4 cases.CT manifestations showed 5 cases with low density pancreas mass (2 cases with biliary tract dilatation);1 case had pancreas swelling with dilatation of bile duct,and 2 cases with bile duct dilatation only,and CT findings in 1 case were negative.Four patients underwent EUS-FNA,and EUS features included hypoechoic lesions without peripancreatic lymph nodes.FNA results indicated 2 cases with IgG4 related chronic inflammation,2 cases with chronic inflammation with negative IgG4.Seven cases were confirmed to have IgG4 related pancreatitis,and 2 cases with IgG4 related cholangitis.Six patients received glucocorticoid treatment,and the dose ranged from 8-40 mg;3 patients underwent surgery and the surgical pathology indicated IgG4 positive plasma cell.Follow-up showed the serum IgG4 returned to normal,clinical symptoms improved remarkably,and pancreatic mass decreased.Conclusions IgG4 positive plasma cell infiltration is the main feature of IgG4-associated cholangitis and pancreatitis.The diagnosis should combine image,serology with pathology.Glucocorticoid is an effective treatment.

The JC virus is a widely infected human polyomavirus. Recent foreign researches showed that the JC virus infection is correlated with tumors of nervous system and digestive system, while, and study on the relationship between JC virus infection and gynecological tumor is seldom reported. In this study, we first establish the nucleic acid detection methods and procedures for JC virus and its highly homologous BK virus. The JC and BK viruses infection was evaluated by detect the viral DNA in samples including biopsy tissues, serum as well as urine of myoma of uterus (98 cases), cervical cancer (84 cases), endometrial cancer (40 cases) and ovarian tumor (72 cases) patients. The BK viral DNA positive rate was significantly higher in urine samples than that of blood and biopsy samples, and there is no significant difference of the BK viral DNA positive rate among all patient groups. The JC viral DNA positive rate is almost 0 in serum samples and biopsy. tissues, however, viral DNA positive rate is more than 50% in urine samples. In fibroids group, the JC viral DNA positive rate is up to 65. 3% which is significantly higher than that in other patients groups and healthy control. Further gynecological tumor associated viruses detection showed that only human papilloma virus infection is associated with cervical cancer, the herpes simplex virus, EB virus and cytomegalovirus infection is extremely low in our patient groups. No synergistic effect on gynecological tumor caused by viruses co-infection was observed. Our study showed that JC virus infection is highly related to the pathogenesis of uterine fibroids.

Objective To investigate the effect of cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) on the healing of skin ulcers using Balb/c mice. Methods Wounds with a diameter 6 mm were created on each side of the backs of BalB/c mice ( n = 150) using a punch bioptome. The mice were assigned randomly into a control group ( wounds healed naturally), a laser group (wounds treated with a He-Ne laser for 10 min daily) and a CAP group (wounds treated with CAP for 10 min daily). Wound healing was evaluated on postoperative days (PODs) 4, 7, 10 and 14 in terms of percent wound closure. Ten mice per group were sacrificed on each of the evaluation days. Both wounds were removed and a histological examination was conducted. A scoring system was used to evaluate the wounds. The expression of vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGFs) in the wounded tissue was detected by using immunohistochemical methods on POD 7. The results were quantified using an HPIAS-1000 system. Results Compared with the control group, the average percentage of wound healing was significantly greater in the CAP group on PODs 7 and 10. The average scores on the histological examination were significantly higher in the CAP group on PODs 7, 10 and 14. Compared with the other two groups, the expression of VEGF was up-regulated significantly in the CAP group.Conclusions CAP can positively affect the wound healing process. This might be related to the up-regulation of VEGF in the wounded tissues.

OBJECTIVEThis study aims to determine the awareness oral medical interns about occupation safety protection of knowledge and to present a scientific basis for perfecting the occupation safety education system and standard protection behavior.

METHODSA self-designed questionnaire that used a retrospective questionnaire survey on 425 stomatological interns, scoring, and statistical analysis of the survey were performed. The questionnaire included occupation safety prevention knowledge, behavior cognitive, and protective behavior, among others.

RESULTSThe questionnaire recovery rate was 100%, and the average scores of the prevention knowledge and behavior cognitive were 4.55 ± 0.91 and 4.40 ± 1.05, respectively. More than 90% interns can conduct the conventional protection, and less than 40% can perform special protection. For the item "occupation safety protection knowledge", the scores of three grade III hospitals were higher than that of stomatological hospitals and second level of first-class hospitals; the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.001). For the items "behavior cognition" and "protective behavior", the scores of the second level of first-class hospitals were lower than those of grade III hospitals and stomatolgical hospitals (P < 0.001). The second level of first-class hospitals was relatively poor in safety protection knowledge, behavioral cognitive, and protection behavior. The average score was higher for than for boys in the three contents, and the average score of interns accepting pre-job training was higher than those rejected; the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.001).

CONCLUSIONThe occupation safety knowledge of oral medical interns is not sufficient, and the protective behavior is poor. Schools and hospitals should strengthen the intern occupation safety and protection education and improve the status of occupation safety behavior.

Objective To evaluate the efficiency of combined screening for chromosomal abnormalities in the first trimester and the ultrasound characteristics of these fetuses.Methods Retrospective study for 5000 singleton pregnancies by combined screening of trisomies 21,18,13 and Turner syndrome.Risk algorithms were developed for calculation of patient-specific risks for each of the three trisomies based on maternal age,fetal nuchal translucency,free β human chorionic gonadotropin and serum pregnancy associated plasma protein A at 11 to 13 +6 weeks of pregnant.The value of nuchal translucency (NT) and β-hCG and pregnancy-associated plasma protein A (PAPP-A) level were inputted computer,and calculate the risk value (≥ 1 ∶ 270) by automatic analysis software.Two hundred and four cases with high risk were performed transabdominal chorionic villus biopsy to detect the fetal chromosomal karyotypes.Meanwhile,other ultrasonic characteristics of fetal were elevated.Results (1) Five thousand cases of pregnant women were detected,including 4983 normal cases,62 cases were induced labor for a variety of reasons in the second trimester,including 40 cases with normal karyotype but with congenital heart disease,17 cases of chromosome abnormalities (9 cases trisomy 21,2 cases trisomy 18,1 cases trisomy 13,4 cases 45X),2 cases spina bifida,2 cases digestive tract obstruction,1 cases giant bladder.One case with low risk of fetal chromosomal abnormalities in combined screening,but high risk of age (maternal age were over 40 years old),it was 21 trisomy syndrome after the prenatal diagnosis.(2) Five cases of nasal bone loss in 9 cases of trisomy 21 (5/9),5 cases with three tricuspid regurgitation (5/9),4 cases of venous ductus a wave flow reverse (4/9),3 cases of fetal nasal bone loss accompanied by tricuspid regurgitation and venous ductus a wave flow reverse (3/9).One case of nasal bone loss in 2 cases of trisomy 18,2 cases were tricuspid regurgitation and venous ductus a wave flow reverse.Two cases in 4 cases of 45X had venous ductus a wave flow reverse.There were 8 cases (0.16％) nasal bone absence in 4983 cases of normal karyotype fetus,48 cases (0.96％) of tricuspid regurgitation and 44 cases (0.88％) of venous ductus a wave flow reverse.Thirty-two cases in 40 cases (80％) of fetal congenital heart disease were tricuspid regurgitation,30 cases of venous ductus a wave flow reverse (75％).Eight cases of nasal bone absence normal karyotype fetus were found the nasal bone at 20 weeks gestation.Conclusion Combination screening of nuchal translucency with serum markers in the first trimester were high detection rate and low false positive rate; a wave reversion and fetal nasal bone absence accompanied by tricuspid regurgitation can improve the detection rate of abnormal karyotype; abnormalities ultrasound marker may be associated with fetal congenital heart disease at 11-13 +6 weeks of pregnancy.

Objective:To explore the correlation between white matter lesions (WML) at different locations and cognitive function.Methods:The cognitive function of 68 patients with WML in Beijing Electric Power Hospital from January 2019 to May 2020 were assessed with Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA), and the extent of WML were assessed with age-related white matter changes rating scale(ARWMCRs). Correlation between the ARWMCRs scores of different locations and the scores of all locations and the scores of cognitive function, as well as the relationship between the ARWMCRs scores of different locations and each subitem of cognitive function were analyzed.Results:In 68 patients with WML, the degree of lesions in different parts from heavy to light was frontal area, parietooccipital area, basal ganglia area and temporal area, and no white matter lesions were found in infratentorial area. Except the basal ganglia region, the ARWMCRs scores in other regions and the total score were negatively correlated with MoCA score, among which, the ARWMCRs score in left frontal area, right frontal area, left parietal pillow and right parietal pillow region had the strongest correlation with MoCA score( rs=- 0.388, - 0.479, -0.418, -0.502, all P<0.01).In WML patients, the left frontal area was negatively correlated with language, abstraction and orientation ( rs=- 0.479, - 0.324, - 0.288, all P<0.01).The ARWMCRs score in right frontal area was negatively correlated with visual spatial and executive function, memory, language, abstraction, and orientation ( rs=- 0.324, -0.272, -0.459, -0.382, -0.352, all P<0.05). The ARWMCRs score in left parietal occipital region was negatively correlated with visual spatial and executive function and memory ( rs =-0.287、- 0.270, all P<0.05). The ARWMCRs score in right parietal occipital region was negatively correlated with memory, language, abstraction and orientation ( rs=-0.366, -0.289, -0.260, - 0.307, all P<0.05).The ARWMCRs score in left temporal region was negatively correlated with language, abstraction and orientation ( rs=- 0.248, -0.372, - 0.608, all P<0.05).The ARWMCRs score in right temporal region was negatively correlated with abstraction and orientation ( rs=- 0.525, -0.465, all P<0.01).The ARWMCRs score in right basal ganglia was negatively correlated with orientation and memory ( rs=- 0.455, - 0.275, all P<0.01), while The ARWMCRs score in left basal ganglia was not correlated with MoCA subitems. Conclusions:The frontal area and parietal occipital area are the most serious lesions in WML patients, and the lesions in these two areas also cause the widest range of cognitive impairment.

Objective To investigate the effects of the silence of teratocarcinoma-derived growth factor-1 ( TDGF-1 ) gene on invasion of human pancreatic cancer cell. Methods Three small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting for TDGF-1 genes (S1, S2, S3 ) were designed and established, then the gene with the best silencing effects was screened. Human pancreatic cancer cell line PANC1 were transfected by siRNA with different concentrations (3. 125, 6.25, 12.5 nmoL/L), the cells without transfection, and simply treated with liposomes were controls. The expressions of mRNA and protein of TDGF-1 were determined by real time PCR and Western blot assay, respectively. The anchorage-independent growth was examined by clon formation in soft agar, and invasion ability was evaluated by boyden chamber model. PANC1 cells with transfection for 48h were injected into the nude mice to evaluate the invasion ability in vivo. Results The expressions of TDGF-1 mRNA and protein of cells transfected by siRNA were decreased in a dose-and time-dependent manner, which were significantly lower than those in liposomes group. Number of colony formation and transmembrane cell were 19.8 ± 2.2 and 49.8 + 2.6 in the control group, and 5.6 + 1.2 and 8. 1 + 1.1 in the 12.5 nmol/L transfection group. The volumes of tumor 4 weeks after transplation in the control group, liposomes group and the 12.5 nmol/L transfection group were (2.228 ± 0.016 ) cm3, ( 2.186 ± 0.028 )cm3 and ( 0.728 ± 0.023 )cm3. Conclusions TDGF-1 gene silence could inhibit invasion ability of human pancreatic cancer cell PANC1.
