1.Therapeutic Observation of Moxibustion plus Cupping for Trigeminal Neuralgia Due to Wind-cold
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2016;35(7):812-814
To observe the clinical efficacy of moxibustion plus cupping in treating trigeminal neuralgia due to wind-cold.Method Seventy patients with trigeminal neuralgia due to wind-cold were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 35 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by moxibustion plus cupping, while the control group was by ordinary acupuncture. The Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and other pain indexes were observed before treatment and after 2 treatment courses, and the clinical efficacies were compared.Result The total effective rate was 85.7% in the treatment group versus 57.1% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The VAS scores were significantly changed after treatment in both groups (P<0.01). After treatment, the VAS score of the treatment group was significantly different from that of the control group (P<0.01). After intervention, the scores of pain range, pain intensity, pain duration, attack frequency, quality of life, affection, and global pain score in the treatment group were significantly different from that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Moxibustion plus cupping is an effective approach in treating trigeminal neuralgia due to wind-cold.
2.Improved Synthesis of 2-(3-benzoylphenyl) propionitrile
Journal of China Pharmaceutical University 2001;(3):185-186
2-(3-benzoylphenyl)propionitrile which is an important intermediate of ketoprofen was synthesized through phase-transfer catalytic by four steps, involving Friedel-crafts reaction, bromination and cyanation. Pure compound was obtained, and the content of crystal was about 98%.AIM The content of 2-(3-benzoylphenyl)propionitrile was improved. METHODS Phase-transfer catalytic methylation and suitable method of aftertreatment were used. RESULTS The yield and content was both improved. CONCLUSION Phase-transfer catalytic methylation was the best method, and suitable method of aftertreatment was essential.

5.Correlation between adiponectin and breast cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2012;39(10):759-762
Adiponectin is a kind of adipocyte-specific protein which is only inversely related with obesity by now. It is involved in enhancing insulin sensitivity,anti-atherogenic and antiinflammatory activities.Recent studies have reported that adiponectin is closely correlated with the genesis and development of a variety of obesity related malignant tumors, especially postmenopausal breast cancer.Obesity is an independent risk factor for the development of breast cancer.Recently researches about the correlation between adiponectin and breast cancer relations and the action mechanisms, signaling pathways have made a progress.
6.Isolation and Determination of Polypeptide from Red Ginseng Root Hair
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(02):-
A new polypeptide (RGHP)was isolated from red Ginseng root hair by Rp-HPLC. It was identified as tritriacont peptide on basis of analysis of amino acid composition and determination of molecular weight by SDSPAGE and high performance size-exclusion chromatography. The activities of RGHP were studied by means of tissue culture and immunoassay, and compared with ginsenosides.
7.Determination of Gallic Acid,Quercetin and Kaempferol in Gongyanping Capsules by HPLC
China Pharmacist 2015;(2):310-312
Objective:To establish an HPLC method for the determination of gallic acid, quercetin and kaempferol in Gongyanping capsules. Methods:HPLC was applied with the chromatographic conditions as follows: The chromatographic column was Agilent-SB C18 (250 mm × 4. 6 mm,5 μm) at 30℃; the mobile phrase was methanol-0. 3% phosphoric acid solution with gradient elution; the flow rate was 1. 0 ml·min-1. Results: The linearity relationship of gallic acid, quercetin and kaempferol was within the range of 98.200-491.00 μg·ml-1(r=0.999 9), 7.520-37.600 μg·ml-1(r=0.999 9) and 4.940-24.700 μg·ml-1(r=0.999 9), re-spectively;the average recovery was 96. 74%(RSD=1. 33%), 98. 18%(RSD=1. 70%) and 97. 04%(RSD=1. 28%),respective-ly. Conclusion:The method is simple, accurate and repeatable.
8.The receptor for advanced glycation end products and lung development and lung injury
International Journal of Pediatrics 2013;40(5):454-457
The receptor for advanced glycation end product (RAGE) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of cell surface molecules. As a pattern recognition receptor,it can bind with a variety of ligands. The adult lung is unique in which it expresses high amounts of RAGE under normal conditions while other tissues express low amounts normally and up-regulate RAGE during pathologic processes. The lung exhibits high basal level expression of RAGE localised mainly in alveolar type I cells, suggesting a potentially important role for the receptor in epithelial cell proliferation and differentiation and maintaining lung homeostasis.Indeed, disruption of RAGE levels has been implicated in the pathogenesis of a variety of pulmonary disorders such as acute and chronic lung injury.Furthermore, its soluble form sRAGE,as a decoy receptor, has been shown as an important marker of alveolar epithelial type I cell injury.Studies have suggested that RAGE plays an important role in the biology of the lung and may become a therapeutic target for lung injury.
9. Anvances in research on Raf kinase inhibitory protein in common digestive system malignant tumors
Tumor 2013;33(4):378-381
RKIP (Raf kinase inhibitor protein) is a member of PEBP (phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein) family, which plays a pivotal modulatory role in MAPK (mitogen-activated protein kinase), CPCR (G-protein-coupled receptor) and NF-KB (nuclear factor-kappa B) signaling transduction pathways. In recent years, many studies reported that RKIP expression is weakened or lost in a series of malignant tumors such as prostate cancer, breast cancer and melanoma. RKIP may also play an important role in inhibition of tumor metastasis via inhibition of cell invasion and tumor angiogenesis. Recently, many experiments revealed that RKIP which is a metastasis-suppressor gene participates in the suppression of metastasis in a variety of digestive system malignant tumors and it will become a new target for prevention and control of digestive system cancer. In this article, the advances of research on RKIP in common digestive system malignant tumors were reviewed. Copyright © 2013 by TUMOR.
10.Quality of life and its influencing factors in elderly patients with advanced cancer
Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2017;16(2):118-121
Objective To assess the quality of life and its influencing factors in ellerly patients with advanced cancer. Methods The quality of life was evaluated with EORTC QLQ-C30 scale Chinese version in 103 elderly patients with advanced cancer in a hospital outpatient clinic of Beijing from July 2013 to July 2014.The overall health, physical function, role function, cognitive function, emotional function, social function and individual symptoms score were assessed. The general information and clinical data of patients were analyzed. Results The general score of quality of life in elderly advanced cancer patients was (35.77 ± 21.98).In the domain of function the role functional score was the lowest (36.60 ± 27.97);in the domain of symptoms the tired score was the highest(50.82 ± 30.16),the score of appetite loss was the highest in individual symptoms (39.78 ± 24.32).Educational level, marital status, living condition, medical insurance and the number of comorbidities were correlated with overall health in elderly patients with advanced cancer (P < 0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the educational level (t =2.447,P < 0.05),marital status (t =2.118,P < 0.05),medical insurance (t =3.770,P < 0.05) and overall health status were positively correlated with the quality of life scores;and number of eomorbidities (t =-7.157,P < 0.05) was negatively associated with the overall quality of life. Conclusion The quality of life was generally poor in elderly patients with advanced cancer;and educational level, marital status, medical insurance, comorbidities are important influencing factors.
