Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(01):-
Objective: To study the relationships among attributional style, self-efficacy and subjective well-being(SWB). Methods: 269 college students participated the study. Attributional Style Questionnaire , Self-efficacy Questionnaire and Subjective Well-being(SWB) Questionnaire were applied to the college students. Results: ① Attributional style predicated SWB, but three dimensions (internality-externality; whole-part; controllability-uncontrollability)of negative events were significant negative predicators of SWB. ② Self-efficacy was a significant positive predicator of SWB. ③ There were no differences in SWB between sexes and specialities. ④ There were significant differences in SWB between students with different self-efficacy levels, and the SWB of high self-efficacy group was better than that of the low self-efficacy group. Conclusion: College students'attributional style and self-efficacy impact their subjective well-being.Educators should cultivate students's positive attributional style and enhance their self-efficacy.

Objective To study the effective method of improving the diagnosis and treatment of blunt liver injury. Methods The clinical data of 135 cases with blunt liver injury hospitalized in Daxing District People' s Hospital from January 2000 to October 2010 were reviewed retrospectively. Results By standard grading of American Society of Trauma Surgery (AAST) in 1994,36 cases were grade Ⅰ,42 cases gradeⅡ,33 cases gradeⅢ,14 cases grade Ⅳ,10 cases gradeⅤ.Fifty-one cases were treated by non-operative therapy, among which 42 cases were crued,9 cases underwent operative surgery.Ninety-three cases were treated by operative therapy, seven cases died. The morbidity related to blunt liver injury was 5.19%.Conclusions Non-operative therapy may be used firstly in patients with stable hemodynamics, but close monitoring should be done for changes of the life signs.Timely and reasonable choice of time and the way of surgery is important to avoid complications and reduce the mortality rate.

Selenium, a metalloid mineral micronutrient,is an essential component for the adequate and healthy life of human, animals, and some other microorganisms.Selenium has antioxidative and oxidative effects on living organisms.Selenium deficiency has been associated with impaired function of the immune system.Selenium deficiency appears to enhance the virulence or progression of some viral infections.Selenium deficiency results in decreased activity of glutathione peroxidase, increasing oxidative damage and the likelihood of mutations in the viral genome. The safe range of selenium intake is relatively small and excess selenium intake can readily result in toxicity. This review summarizes the updates of benefitial and adverse effects of selenium on health.

Objective To evaluate the relationship of the levels of serum oxide and antioxide with endothelium-dependent vasodilatation(EDV) in obese subjects and to explore the effect of oxidative stress on endothelial dysfunction in obese subjects. Methods 20 euglycemic obese males (Ob) and 13 age- matched normal controls (NC) underwent euglycemic hyperinsulinemia clamp study to evaluate the peripheral glucose disposal rate (GDR) in steady-state and brachial artery ultrasound studies to assess the endothelium-dependent vasodilatation (EDV). The serum levels of ROS, MDA, GSH-PX, GSH and free fatty acids (FFAs) were measured. Results The serum ROS, MDA and FFA concentrations were significantly higher in Ob group than in the controls (P

Objective To investigate the effect of physical training combined with biofeedback therapy on pelvic floor dysfunction. Methods 35 patients with pelvic floor dysfunction and received physical training combine with biofeedback therapy were analyzed retrospectively. Results The outcome was well in 23 cases, very effective in 4 cases, effective in 3 cases, the total effective rate was 85.7%. Conclusion Physical training combine with biofeedback is an effective, simple, and painless procedure for pelvic floor dysfunction.

Objective To establish a self-made chiral column for enantiomeric separation of salbutamol. Methods We used different concentrations of acid, alkali additives in the polar phase flow for enantiomers separation of salbutamol by using 3, 4-dichlorophenyl isocyanate vancomycin chiral column, and discussed the chiral recognition mechanism. Results The ratio of acid to alkali additive in the mobile phase was 0.01%:0.01% (V/V), the flow rate was 1ml/min, the column temperature was 25℃, and the best separation of enantiomers of salbutamol was obtained, the selective factor was 1.16, the separation degree reached 1.41. Conclusion Self-made 3, 4-two chlorophenyl isocyanate vancomycin chiral column is effective for salbutamol separation, and it can be as a reference for developing other similar chiral stationary phase.

Objective To investigate the effects of Triptolide on apoptosis of cultured rat mesangial cells treated by TGF-β1 and the role of Smac in this process. Methods The mesangial cells were pre-treated with different concentrations of Triptolide for 24 hours, then stimulated with TGF-β1 for 24 hours. Apoptotic cells were detected by TUNEL assay. Smac transcription level was determined by Real time-PCR analyses. Smac expression level was assessed using Western blot anal-yses. Localization of Smac was shown by confocal fluorescence microscopy. Results Compared with control group, TGF-β1 inhibited apoptosis and Smac transcription and expression in rat mesangial cells. By contrast, Triptolide promoted mesangial cells apoptosis. In Triptolide groups, Smac mRNA and protein levels were up-regulated. Additionally, in normal and TGF-β1 groups Smac protein was mainly localized in mitochondriawhile in Triptolide groupit was mainly localized in cytoplasm and nucleus with increased fluorescence intensity. Conclusion Triptolide could promote the effect that TGF-β1 inhibited apop-tosis of mesangial cells, through both up-regulation the expression of Smac and stimulating it translocation from mitochon-dria to cytoplasm and nucleus.

OBJECTIVE To study the distributive properties and susceptibility of yeasts to six antifungal agents. METHODS To analyze the distributive properties of 264 clinical Candida spp isolates and study the susceptibility to amphotericin B,nystatin, fluconazole, ketoconazole, miconazole and clotrimazole. The susceptibility of yeasts was tested according to the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards guideline(NCCLS M27-A2). RESULTS Strains of Candida albicans were the most frequent organism isolated accounted for 62.5% of all the isolates.C.tropicalis,C.glabrata,and C.parapsilosis accounted for 20.8%,12.5%,and 1.9%,the others accounted for only 2.3%.The main infected organs were lungs, urinary tract, and digestive tract;the susceptibility tests showed strains of Candida spp to nystatin, amphotericin B,and fluconazole were more active than to the other antifungal agents. The resistance to triazole antifugal agents could be shown. CONCLUSIONS We should strengthen the diagnosis of Candida spp and strengthen the surveillance on susceptibility of clinical isolates Candida spp so as to help the doctors choose the antifungal agents reasonably.
