Objective To explore the effect of BCG-polysaccharide nucleic acid(BCG-PSN) on the numbers of Th3,Th2 and Th1 cells in peripheral blood mononuclear cell(PBMC) and airway inflammation status in patients with asthma.Methods Twenty-six patients with moderate persistent asthma were enrolled into the study and randomly divided into simple medication group(n=13,accepted Fluticasone/salmeterol alone) and combined medication group(n=13,accepted Fluticasone/salmeterol+BCG-PSN together).The numbers of Th3,Th1 and Th2 cells in PBMC, the serum levels of TGF-β,IFN-γ,IL-4 and IgE and the clinical effect and airway inflammation status were observed at three time points: before,1.5 months after and 3 months after treatment. Results (1)At 1.5 months after treatment,the Th1/Th2 number was significantly higher in the combined medication group than the simple medication group(1.20±0.57 vs 0.79±0.39,t= 2.129,P＜0.05),and the asthma control test scale(ACT) showed similar difference(18.31±1.75 vs.15.54±2.40,t=3.359,P＜0.01) between the two groups.(2)At 3 months after treatment,the Th1/Th2 number was significantly higher in the combined medication group than the simple medication group(1.73±0.74 vs1.16±0.48,t=2.327,P＜0.05),and the ACT also showed the same kind of difference(22.46±1.13 vs.20.23±2.59,t=2.851,P＜0.01) between the two groups.In addition,at this time point the PEF variability was significant lower in the combined medication group than the simple medication group([9.88±2.18]% vs.[12.05±2.74]%,t=2.235,P＜0.05).(3)We found no significant differences in the comparisons of the numbers of T helper cell subsets in PBMC ,the serum levels of cytokines and IgE,the numbers of inflammatory cells in induced sputum between the two groups(Ps＞0.05).(4)No correlation were found between Th3 cell numbers in PBMC and the serum levels of IgE in the two groups.Conclusion The combined use of Fluticasone/salmeterol and BCG-PSN can further correct the imbalance of Th1/Th2 cells,alleviate clinical symptom of asthma and airway hyper-responsiveness.The therapeutic efficacy improves along with the therapy period,better in the combined medication group than the simple medication group.BCG-PSN has no significant effects on the numbers of Th3 in PBMC in patients with asthma.

Neovascular glaucoma ( NVG ) is a series of blinding and intractable eye diseases, which caused by various intraocular or extraocular diseases. The iris and angle neovascularization and vascular membrane fiber contraction may eventually lead to progressive elevation of intraocular pressure and angle closure. Because of complex etiology, the treatment of NVG is intractable and inefficient. Based on the articles published in recent years, we reviewed the progressions of the relevant cytokines and animal models.

Objective To study the correlation between dopamine and glutamate receptor NMDA NR_1 and NMDA NR_(2A),and to share the understanding of the mechanism of dopamine in the synaptic complex of inner hair cells.Methods Forty guinea pigs were divided randomly into four groups and the whole intacochlear perfusions were performed.The perfused cochleas were taken out as preparations 2 hours after perfusing,the contralateral cochleas were also taken out as the normal control group in the group perfused with artifical perilymph solutions.All the preparations were divided into 5 groups:①normal control cochleas;②perfused with artificial perilymph solutions;③perfused with artifical perilymph solutions containing 10 mmol/L dopamine；④perfused with artificial perilymph so lutions containing 30 mmol/L dopamine；⑤perfused with artifical perilymph solutions containing 50 mmol/L dopa mine.The semi-quantitive RT-PCR was used to observe the difference in the amount of glutamate receptor NMDA NR_1、NMDA NR_(2A).Results Dopamine inhibited the compound action potential(CAP),the increase of CAP threshold was observed and correlated with the contentration of dopamine in the perfusion solution.Regarding the amount of glutamate receptor NMDA NR_1 mRNA,there was no significant difference between group ① and group ② (P＞0.05).But a significant difference was observed the other 3 groups when compared to group ①(P＜0.05).No significant difference was detected among the 5 groups in the amount of glutamate receptor NMDA NR_(2A) (P＞0.05).Conclusion Dopamine may inhibit the cochlear auditory afferent nerve.The significant correlation between dopamine and glutamate receptor NMDA NR_1 was observed,the amount of glutamate receptor NMDA NR_1 decreased along with the increasing of the contentration of dopamine in the perfusion solution.And there was no significant correlation between dopamine and glutamate receptor NMDA NR_(2A).

Objective To explore the nursing intervention of adverse reactions of Iohexol Injection using CT scanning. Methods According to the different nursing intervention mode of patients in our hospital in January January 2015 to January 2017 performed CT scanning using the Iohexol Injection group in 50 cases as control group with routine nursing intervention, the observation group used routine nursing quality nursing intervention;adverse reaction a detailed record of the two groups of patients, and the incidence of adverse reactions compared to investigate the effect of nursing intervention of adverse reactions using the Iohexol Injection CT scan. Results Routine nursing quality nursing intervention (observation group) is better than the clinical effect of CT scanning using Iohexol Injection in patients with routine nursing intervention (control group) clinical the effect and adverse reaction rates in patients with lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion CT scan. With Iohexol Injection patients regular nursing care, high quality nursing mode intervention effect is remarkable, can effectively reduce the incidence of adverse reactions in patients, it is worthy of clinical widely used.

Diabetic nephropathy presents an increasing trend worldwide. It has been an attractive area to find novel targets for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. SIRT1 (Sirtuin 1), a member of deacetylation enzymes, regulates cell senescence, metabolism, and apoptosis. In last ten years, lots of studies showed that SIRT1 exerts a protective effect in the progression of the diabetic nephropathy by promoting reconstruction of energy homeostasis, modulating cell redox state, resisting cell apoptosis, inhibiting inflammation and ameliorating renal fibrosis. SIRT1 has become a potential new target for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the early clinical effects and radiological outcome of dynamic cervical implant (DCI) internal fixation in treating cervical spondylosis, and evaluate its safety and efficiency.

METHODSFrom June 2009 to December 2011, 19 patients with cervical spondylosis correspond to the indication of DCI internal fixation in the study, including 5 cases of cervical spondylotic myelopathy and 14 cases of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. There were 8 males and 11 females, aged from 35 to 54 years with a mean of 43.2 years. Pathological segments included C3,4 in 1 case, C4,5 in 6, C5,6 in 6, C6,7 in 4, C3,4 and C5,6, C6,7 in 2. All patients were treated with anterior discectomy and decompression and DCI internal fixation, meanwhile, 2 cases of them with anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion plate fixation. Clinical evaluation included Modified Japanese orthopedics association (mJOA), neck disability index (NDI), visual analogue scale (VAS) score and patient satisfaction index (PSI) at pre-operation and final follow-up. Radiographic evaluation included flexion/extension lateral view at operative level and adjacent segment. The adjacent level degeneration was analyzed according to Miyazaki classification on MRI images.

RESULTSAll patients were followed up from 12 to 42 months with an average of 19.8 months. Preoperative mJOA score was 13.6±1.1 and at final follow-up was 16.3±1.2 with improvement rate of 85.0%. Preoperative VAS,NDI was 6.6± 1.4, 17.1±7.4 and at final follow-up was 1.4±0.8, 6.1±3.9, respectively; there was statistical significance in all above-mentioned results between preoperative and final follow-up (P<0.05). Preoperative ROM at operation level was (7.6±1.9)° and final follow-up was (7.8+2.1)°; preoperative ROM at C2-C7 was (38.6±7.2)° and final follow-up was (39.9±6.4)°; there was no statistical significance in all above-mentioned results between preoperative and final follow-up (P>0.05). Preoperative DHI at operation level was (6.3±1.1) mm and final follow-up was (7.1±0.8) mm, there was statistical significance in DHI between preoperative and final follow-up (P<0.05). No heterotopic ossification was found. All patients followed up MRI, degeneration of 3 segments aggravated 1 degree in 38 adjacent segments, without clinical symptom.

CONCLUSIONTreatment of cervical spondylosis with dynamic cervical implant can got satisfactory outcome in early follow-up. Activity of operative segment obtain reservation in some degree. The incidence of adjacent segment degeneration is lower and no adjacent segment disease occur. Nevertheless a longer follow-up time should be needed to assess the long term functionality of the DCI and the influence on adjacent levels.

Objective To evaluate hepatectomy for liver metastasis in patients of gastric carcinoma.Methods Clinical data of 32 gastric cancer cases undergoing hepatectomy for hepatic metastatic tumor were reviewed retrospectively from 2006 to 2012.16 cases underwent radical gastrectomy and synchronous hepatectomy for liver metastasis,the remaining 16 cases underwent radical resection of gastric cancer and liver resection heterochronously.The relationship between prognosis and clinicopathology was analyzed.Results The overall survival rates were 84％,50％ and 37％ in 1 year,3 years and 5 years.The median survival time was 32 months.Gastric cancer invasion depth,intravascular tumor thrombi,lymphatic metastasis and intraoperative blood transfusion was related to poor prognosis by single factor analysis,while gastric serosal invasion,tumor thrombus and liver metastasis tumor ＞ 5 cm related to poor prognosis by multiple factors analysis.Conclusions Gastric cancer patients with liver metastasis who underwent hepatic resection can achieve good prognosis if hepatic metastatic tumor ＜ 5cm or the primary gastric cancer does not invade the serosa and without tumor thrombus.

AIM: To investigate the influence and mechanism of recombinant interleukin-13 (rIL-13) on fibroblasts. METHODS: 3T3 fibroblasts were divided into two groups: the treated group was treated with rIL-13 (80 ?g/L, 24 h or 48 h) and the control was without rIL-13 treatment. Transmission electron microscope and Hoechst kit were used to observe morphology of 3T3 fibroblasts in both groups. The activity of proliferation in both groups was investigated and compared by MTT means. Western blot was used to analyze the level of collagen type I induced by rIL-13 in fibroblasts. The levels of IL-6 and IL-8 in the culture supernatants were determined by radioimmunoassay. RESULTS: The more ribosomes and mitochondrions, as well as bigger nuclei were found in the treated group. Streptozotocin-induced diabetic model was prepared in Wistar rats and the blood glucose levels were controlled at 3 levels of＜10,10-14 mmol/L or＞16.7 mmol/L by insulin,and changes of glucose transporter(GLUT)1 and 3 protein expressions of brain were observed in control rats and diabetic rats with different blood glucose levels by immunohistochemistry.The results showed that chronic hyperglycemia could decrease the protein expressions of GLUT 1 and GLUT3.
