2.English curriculum reform in medical universities under the background of guidelines on college English teaching
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2016;15(5):473-477
Three Modules and Three Stages proposed by guidelines on college English teaching that will be issued by the Ministry of Education gives direction for college English teaching.Through the investigation of the students' cognition and learning of English curriculum, combined with the teaching experiment, the new system of English curriculum, which reflects the characteristics of medical colleges and universities, has been preliminarily established, aiming at cultivating medical students' comprehensive English abilities in medical study and career development.Considering students' language abilities in different stages, college English curriculum can be designed in three modules, that is,English for general purpose (EGP),English for academic purpose (EAP) and intercultural communication,in three stages, that is,the basic stage, the improvement stage, and the development stage. The practice shows that the new curriculum system can promote the interaction, reform and development of teachers, teaching teams and Foreign Language Department.
3.Research progress of TERT promoter mutation in thyroid carcinoma
International Journal of Surgery 2015;42(11):768-771
Thyroid carcinoma is the most frequent endocrine cancer.Recently, it has been discovered that telomerase reverse transcriptase promoter mutation can prevent cell tolemeres from shortening, leading to cell immortalization and plays an important role in the tumor genesis, invasiveness and metastasis of the thyroid carcinoma.Testing of telomerase reverse transcriptase promoter mutation is of great value in diagnosis, which also can be used as a prognostic maker of thyroid carcinoma.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2001;0(03):-
Objective:To investigate influences of bicortical anchora ge on the values of natural frequency of dental implants. Methods: Using the commercial code of SolidWorks, 3-D models of a screw-shaped dental i mplant and a mandibular bone segment were generated. After the 3-D implant-bon e complex was meshed by ABAQUS software, effects of bicortical anchorage on the buccolingual and axial first-order natural frequencies of the implant were comp uted. Results:Bicortical anchorage increased the buccolingual na tural frequencies and the axial natural frequencies of the implants by a maximu m of 13.77% and 107.40% respectively. The apical anchorage depth in the cortical bone had an insignificant effect on further increase of implant stability. Conclusion:Bicortical anchorage can increase the stability of dental implants, especially in the axial direction.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(02):-
Objective To find out factors affecting physicians' prescribing conduct so as to get rid of the negative effects and reduce medical costs. Methods Analyses were conducted by reviewing relevant literature published at home and abroad. Results Factors affecting physicians' prescribing conduct include: the medical security system, the hospital compensation mechanism, the requisitioning party, pharmaceuticals per se, and promotion of sales. Conclusion To get rid of the negative effects of physicians' prescribing conduct, it is necessary to rationalize the hospital compensation mechanism, strengthen the control of drug examination, approval, purchase and sale, and provide physicians with accurate pharmaceutical information.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2008;20(1):61-65
By using a function with a phase factor, a universal analytic potential energy function applied to the interactions between diatoms or molecules is derived and six kinds of potential curves of common shapes are obtained by adjusting the phase factor. The spectroscopic parameters of ten diatomic molecules are calculated by using the potential energy function; as a consequence, all calculation results are in good agreement with experimental data.
7.Effect of maternal hypothyroidism on fetal glucose metabolism
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2015;(6):561-564
[Summary] The theory of fetal origins of adult disease (FOAD) is now widely accepted by researchers who hold the opinion that adult degenerative and metabolism diseases have close relationship with the environment of fetal development inside and outside the womb. Some studies have proved that maternal hypothyroidism can negatively affect the glucose metabolism of their offsprings. However, the whole mechanism is not clear yet. Insufficient thyroid hormone during pregnancy was proved to slow down the formation of fetal pancreatic cytoskeleton, to decrease the proinsulin gene transcription, and to modulate series of cytokines and enzymes which are related to glucose dependent insulin secretion. Thyroid hormone receptor is also considered to be partially responsible for the relation between low thyroid hormone and β cell insufficiency. However, more studies in vivo should be carried out to prove this hypothesis. Epidemiologic studies have suggested that type 2 diabetes and low birth weight can be different phenotypes of the same genotype. The definite mechanism of maternal hypothyroidism in influencing fetal β-cell function should be studied by further investigation.

Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2003;0(04):-
Ovbective To evaluate whether the deleterious effect of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) mediated by oxygen free radicals could be prevented by controlling PaO 2 in cyanotic children. Methods Cyanotic pediatric patients undergoing cardiac surgery (n=38) were randomly allocated into 2 groups. The groups matched in respect to sex, age, body surface area and preoperative ventricular function. Group H (n=18) had CPB initiated at a FiO 2 of 0.8,group L (n=18) had CPB initiated at a FiO 2 of 0.4. SOD and MDA were determined in arterial blood sample before CPB,30 minutes after initiation of CPB and 30 minutes post CPB. Various pulmonary parameters were determined 10 minutes after intubation,30 minutes after CPB,the 2nd hours and the 6th hours in the intensive care units. Results At the 6th hours in ICU,the mean postoperative increase in peak airway pressure and P(A-a)O 2/PaO 2 in group H was significant higher than that in group L(P

Objective To evaluate the relationship between 5,10-Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR) gene polymorphisms and colorectal cancer(CRC).Methods Studies were selected based on the criteria for inclusion. The Meta-analysis software,REVMAN 4.2,was applied for checking the heterogeneity across the studies and calculating the pooled OR.The results were evaluated by the analyses of publication bias and sensitivity. Results A total of 9 787 cases and 12 986 controls from 18 studies for C677T and a total of 4 422 cases and 5 819 controls from 9 studies for A1 298C were included. No heterogeneity among the studies was found. For codon 677,the frequencies of CC,CT and TT genotypes were 46.48%,43.81% and 9.71% in cases, and 45.03%,43.08% and 11.89% in controls, respectively. The pooled OR of TT vs.CT+CC was 0.80(95%CI 0.74~0.87).For codon 1 298,the frequencies of AA,AC and CC genotypes were 53.60%,39.39% and 7.01% in cases, and 53.31%,38.67% and 8.03% in controls, respectively. The pooled OR of CC vs.AC+AA was 0.84(95%CI 0.72~0.97).Conclusions MTHFR 677TT is at lower risk of developing CRC and 1 298CC genotypes might be associated with the decreased risk of developing CRC.

Smart classroom as the basis support of classroom teaching, should set the function of smart teaching, real-time interaction, environmental control, video monitoring and remote control, teaching reform, evaluation feedback and other functions into an organic whole, and by using new technology integration and development, to achieve the optimization of the teaching effect. In view of the characteristics of practice and complexity of medical teaching, The spatial structure of smart class-room should provide long-distance education, remote operation, live classroom group discussion, group exhibition, HD recording, classroom attendance voting and other functions, and by choosing the appro-priate teaching mode in teaching to promote the innovation and development of medical teaching.
