Apolipoprotein C3 (APOC3) is a multifunctional protein.Its concentration is positively correlated with triglyceride (TG) levels and is an independent risk factor for coronary heart disease (CAD) prediction and development.Recent studies showed that APOC3 could not only regulate triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (TRL) metabolism,but also regulated endothelial function,that is,it could induce endothelial dysfunction and disorders of lipid metabolism.Gradually,APOC3 induces atherosclerosis (AS),increases the risk of the occurrence of CAD and other related diseases.APOC3 polymorphisms are also closely related to related diseases.

Objective: To investigate the prevalence and influencing factors of adolescent depression symptoms in Zhejiang, so as to provide reference for improving their mental health. Methods: The middle school and university students in 11 cities of Zhejiang Province were selected by stratified cluster random sampling method. The depression symptoms of the adolescents were assessed by Center for Epidemiological Survey-Depression Scale ( CES-D ) and the influencing factors were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression model. Results: A total of 25 855 students were investigated, and 25 614 ( 99.07% ) valid questionnaires were collected. The detection rate of depressive symptoms was 26.86%(6 879 cases). The detection rate of depressive symptoms in girls was 29.75%, which was higher than 24.12% in boys ( P<0.05). The detection rate of depressive symptoms in high school students was 31.74%, the highest compared with other grades. The multivariate regression analysis showed that female students ( OR=1.690, 95%CI: 1.592-1.794 ), resident students ( OR=1.071, 95%CI: 1.010-1.137 ) , internet addiction ( OR=2.948, 95%CI: 2.527-3.439 ) , attempt smoking ( OR=1.516, 95%CI: 1.359-1.690 ), drinking ( OR=1.624, 95%CI: 1.525-1.729 ), bullied in the past 30 days ( OR=3.143, 95%CI: 2.938-3.363 and having serious injuries within a year ( OR=1.369, 95%CI: 1.263-1.543 ) were associated with adolescents who had depressive symptoms. Conclusions The detection rate of depressive symptoms is relative 26.86% among adolescents of Zhejiang Province. The students who are female, live on campus, have internet addiction, have been bullied or seriously injured, smoke and drink are more likely to have depressive symptoms.

Objective:To observe the effect of acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy for the stress reaction during postoperative anesthesia recovery period in patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery.Methods:A total of 120 patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery were included,and all patients were under trachea intubation and general anesthesia.The patients were randomized into an observation group and a control group,with 60 patients in each group.Patients in the control group received conventional anesthesia resuscitation,while patients in the observation group received acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy on the basis of conventional anesthesia resuscitation.Changes in the heart rate (HR),systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were observed at three time points including the end of the surgery (TO),the removal of the tracheal tube (T1) and 10 min after the removal of the tracheal tube (T2).The awakening and tube removal time,choking cough and restlessness,and adverse reactions (dizziness,nausea and vomiting) in 24 h post-surgery period were compared.Results:At T1 and T2,the comparisons of HR,SBP and DBP between the two groups showed statistical significance (all P＜0.05).Intra-group comparisons showed that the HR,SBP and DBP of the control group at T1 and T2 were significant different from those at TO (all P＜0.05).There were significant differences in the awakening time and tube removal time between the two groups (both P＜0.05).The incidences of choking cough and restlessness were 8.3％ and 3.3％ respectively in the observation group,versus 53.3％ and 30.0％ in the control group,and the between-group comparisons showed statistical significance (both P＜0.05).The incidences of dizziness,nausea and vomiting in 24 h post-surgery period were 3.3％,5.0％ and 0.0％ respectively in the observation group,versus 43.3％,33.3％ and 25.0％ in the control group,and the between-group comparisons showed statistical significance (all P＜0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint massage plus acupoint sticking therapy can effectively regulate the stress reaction during postoperative anesthesia recovery period in patients undergoing nasal endoscopic surgery,and maintain a stable internal environment.

Objective To investigate the possibility and feasibility of the whole genome microarray scanning technique in clinical cytogenetic diagnosis of an uncertain karyotype and mentally retarded child. Methods The karyotype analysis of the mental development delayed child was 47, XY+mar. Genomic DNA was extracted from the peripheral blood and the whole genome microarray scanning technique was used to analyze the derivative chromosome. Results The whole genome microar-ray scanning technique indicated the derivative chromosome fragment had originated from 9p13.1-p24.3. Conclusions Com-paring to conventional cytogenetic analysis methods, the whole genome microarray scanning technique is of high resolution, high-throughput and high accuracy, which can detect the submicroscopic chromosomal aberrations and replace the conven-tional karyotype analysis.

Objective To explore the correlation between phenotype and genotype of 5α-reductase 2 deficiency. Methods The clinical data of five children with 5α-reductase 2 deficiency were retrospectively analyzed and the relation between their clinical phenotype and genotype were analyzed. Results All of these five children presented small penis and testicular hypoplasia, three of whom had ones similar to the clitoris appearance. The testosterone/dihydrotestosterone (T/DHT) ratio was 10.26-64.99 after human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) stimulation. Gene detection showed one case had c.680G>A homozygous mutation and the others were compound heterozygous mutations. The mutations were mainly missense mutations, followed by deletion, duplication and nonsense mutations. Conclusion The 5α-reductase 2 deficiency has different degrees of abnormal genital development. Genetic testing contributed to the diagnosis of this disease.

Phaffia rhodozyma is a good strain for astaxanthin production. An over-producing mutant YB-20-29 was obtained by means of Cs137-?ray and N-methy1-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidin (NTG) treatment. The biomass for this strain by shake culture was 36.32 g/L, the pigment content was 1216.0 ?g/g, an increase of 308% compare to o-riginal strain. The astaxanthin content in broth was 30.9?g /mL. It was a potential strain for astaxanthin over-production.

Objective In order to investigate the relationship between hearing loss and diabetic peripheral neuropathy( DPN ) via comparing the pure tone thresholds and vibration perception threshold(VPT) in type 2 diabetic patients and control person without diabetes. Methods 173 subjects including 138 type 2 diabetic patients(DM)and 35 non-diabetes controls were examined for VPT and hearing threshold. Nerve conducting velocity ( NCV )including sensory nerve conducting velocity( SCV )and motorial nerve conducting velocity( MCV )of diabetic patients were determined. The participants were divided into three groups: control group (n = 35 ), DM group without peripheral neuropathy( non-PN group, n = 74 ), and DM group complicated with peripheral neuropathy (PN group,n = 64 ). The clinical characteristics, biochemical parameters , the incidence of sensorineural hearing loss ( SNHL),pure tone threshold, and VPT were compared among three groups. At last, the relationship between hearing thresholds and NCV were analyzed. Results The incidence of hearing impairment of sensorineural type was 29.69% in PN group, which was significantly higher than that of non-PN group( 17.57% )and control group( 17. 14% ). There was significant differences in age, duration of diabetes, glycolated hemoglobin (HbA1c), glycolated serum albumin ( GA), Fasting blood glucose( FPG), 2h postprandial blood glucose( PPG), VPT, and hearing threshold among the three groups( all P＜0. 05 ). The value of hearing threshold increased significantly( all P＜0. 05 ) in 3 VPT subgroups with VPT≤ 15 V, VPT 16-25 V, and VPT ＞25 V. The Spearman correlation analysis showed median NCV was negatively correlated with hearing threshold on 1.00, 2.00, 4. 00, and 8. 00 kHz ( All P ＜ 0. 05 ). The logistic regression analysis indicated that the age( regression coefficient =0. 088, P＜0. 01 ) was the independent risk factor of SNHL, median nerve MCV ( regression coefficient = -0. 135, P = 0. 046 ) was the important influencing factor of SNHL. Conclusion Diabetic patients are more likely to suffer from impaired middle-frequency and high-frequency hearing, DPN in patients is often complicated with hearing impairment. Age and median nerve MCV were major risk factors of SNHL in diabetic patients.

Objective To explore the clinical features and molecular diagnosis of 46, XY disorder of sex development (46, XY DSD).Methods The clinic data of one child with 46, XY DSD raised as female were retrospectively analyzed, and related literatures were reviewed.Results The 11.5-year-old child raised as female visited clinic due to, “accidently found clitoral hypertrophy for half month”. Preliminary series of laboratory examinations supported the diagnosis of 46, XY DSD, high gonadal hormone dysplasia. DNA sequencing of the whole genome exon group showed a heterozygous mutation of c.937C>T, p.Arg313Cys inNR5A1 gene. No abnormality was detected in her father, while her mother was a heterozygous mutation carrier. Conclusions 46, XY DSD can be diagnosed by the whole genome exon gene sequencing.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of depression and its risk factors in type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) was used to evaluate depression in 2 966 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients [ male 1 463,female 1 503,age ( 56.4 ± 11.2 ) years,diabetes duration ( 6.3 ± 5.7 ) years ].Depression criteria:≤4 points,no depression group; 5-13 points,mild depression group; 14-20 points,moderate depression group; 21 points or higher,severe depression group.Meanwhile,the demographic and metabolic data and diabetes-related health behaviors were also investigated.The risk factors associated with depression were screened by logistic regression.Results 51％ patients had depression,including 38％ with mild,8％ with moderate,and 5％ with severe depression.Compared with no depression group,depression was correlated with female sex,low-annual income,diabetes education,diabetes treatment,with insulin and peripheral neuropathy( P＜0.01 ).More smoking and younger age were found in severe depression( P＜0.05 ).Partial correlation analysis showed that depression in type 2 diabetes mellitus was positively correlated with female sex,diabetes education,and peripheral neuropathy ; and negatively correlated with age (P＜0.05).Conditional logistic regression equation showed that gender( OR =1.37 ),age ( 20-40 years,OR =1.52 ),diabetes education ( OR =1.51 ),and peripheral neuropathy ( OR =1.87 ) were risk factors for depression.Conclusion Depression is common in type 2 diabetes mellitus.More attention should be paid to screening depression in clinical practice.

Objective To investigate the clinical value , the motive regularity, the temporal and spatial correlation between myocardium and adjacent pericardium of left ventricular short -axis in normal adsults by using dual pulse wave Doppler echocardiography .Methods Tissue dual pulse spectral Doppler images about segmental myocardium and adjacent pericardial of three complete cardiac cycles in 99 normal adults were collected synchronously by using dual pulse wave Doppler techenology ,6 segments were enrolled in this study, including the anterior and posterior wall at mitral valve , papillary muscles, and apex level of left ventricular short-axis view.The motive regularity of myocardium and adjacent pericardium at different levels and segments were observed .Peak speed, onset time and peak time between myocardium and adjacent pericardium in anterior and posterior wall of three valves were measured online in systolic , early diastolic, and late diastolic, and the correlation between segmental myocardium and adjacent pericardium in speed and time were analyzed.Results Dual pulse wave Doppler echocardiography showed that in left ventricular short-axis view, motion between myocardium and adjacent pericardium in the same segment had consistent direction, motions between myocardium and adjacent pericardium in anterior and posterior wall at the same level had opposite directions .Comparison of peak velocity, in anterior wall, the peak velocities of myocardium in systolic and late diastolic at mitral valve level , and the peak velocity of myocardium in systolic at papillary muscle level were lower than that of adjacent pericardium .In posterior wall, the peak velocities of myocardium in early diastolic and late diastolic at mitral valve level , the peak velocities of myocardium in systolic and early diastolic at papillary muscle level , and the peak velocity of myocardium in early diastolic at apex level were higher than that of adjacent pericardium , with statistical significance (t=-4.207, -2.078, 4.575, -2.277, -2.440, -2.292, 5.980, 2.604, all P<0.05).Comparison of onset time, the onset time of myocardium in systolic at papillary muscle level in anterior wall , and the onset time of myocardium in early diastolic at mitral valve level in posterior wall were lower than that of adjacent pericardium, with statistical significance (t =-2.447, -2.020, both P<0.05).Comparison of peak time, except the peak time of myocardium in systolic and early diastolic at mitral valve level in posterior wall was lower than that of adjacent pericardium , the remaining differences were statistically significant ( t =-3.530, -2.411, both P<0.05).Peak velocity, onset times and peak times of each segment measured between myocardium and adjacent pericardium were well correlated (r =0.407 -0.933, all P <0.01). Conclusions Dual pulse wave Doppler echocardiography can provide relativity and accordance between motive velocity and direction of left ventricular myocardium and adjacent pericardium in normal adults .It is a promising new method for the clinical diagnosis of constrictive pericarditis and differentiation with restrictive cardiomyopathy.
