Objective To investigate the changes and its clinical significance of serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) level and plasma tissue plasminogen activator( t-PA ) level in patients with amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI). Methods 99 aMCI patients (aMCI group) and 99 matched normal controls (NC group) were recruited for the present study. Multi-dimension neuropsychologic tests were used to extensively assess cognitive function of subjects. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was applied to measure serum BDNF level and plasma t-PA level. The correlation analysis between serum BDNF level and plasma t-PA level tested by ELISA and cognitive function were also made. Objective:To investigate the clinical value of the changes of serum complement,immunoglobulin and inflammatory cytokines in children with mycoplasma pneumonia (MP).Methods:60 cases of children with MP infection were collected as MPP group,60 cases of healthy children as control group.The serum levels of complement (C3,C4) and immunoglobulin (IgA,IgG,IgM) were detected by INA,the serum levels of inflammatory cytokines (IL-8,IL-10,IL-13,TNF-α) were detected by ELISA.Results:①The serum levels of IgM,C3,C4,IL-8,TNF-et and IL-13 in MPP group in acute stage were significantly higher than those in the recovery stage and control group (P＜0.05),the levels of IL-8,TNF-et,IL-13 in the recovery stage were significantly higher than those in control group (P＜0.05);the serum levels of IgA,IL-10 in MPP group in acute stage were significantly lower than those in the recovery stage and control group,and these were still significantly lower than the control group (P＜0.05);the IgG in MPP group in acute stage was not significant difference with control group (P＞0.05),but it in recovery stage was significantly higher than the acute stage and the control group (P＜0.05).②The serum levels of IgM,IgG,C3,C4,IL-8,TNF-et and IL-I 3 in MPP group in severe were significantly higher than those in the mild stage and control group (P＜0.05),and the levels of IgM,IL-8,TNF-αt,IL-13 in the severe stage were significantly higher than those in control group (P＜0.05);the serum levels of IgA,IL-10 in MPP group in severe stage were significantly lower than those in the mild stage and control group,and these in mild stage were still significantly lower than the control group (P＜ 0.05).Conclusion:Children with MP infection have a significant cellular and humoral immune dysfunction,the detection of the changes of serum complement,immunoglobulin and inflammatory cytokines is valuable to assessing the disease staging and degree.

Objective To compare the effects of rib internal fixation and thoracic external fixation in treatment of traumatic flail chest. Methods Eighty six cases of traumatic flail chest with multiple injuries,admitted to hospital from January 2006 to June 2009 ,were recruited into the study and divided into rib internal fixation and thoracic external fixation groups randomly. The clinical data were analyzed retrospectively. Rib internal fixations with Ti-Ni shape memory alloy embracing connector were performed in internal-fixation group(n = 45) and thoracic external fixations were performed in external-fixation group(n = 41). The outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results No patient in internal-fixation group developed chest wall deformity,while 19 patients in external-fixation group had chest wall deformity left. The mean times of hospital stay([ 15. 1 ± 1.8]d vs [22. 9 ±2. 8]d,t = - 15. 724,P ＜0. 01) ,ICU stay([5.7 ± 1.5]d vs [ 14. 4 ±2. 9]d,t =- 17.711, P ＜ 0. 01), and mechanical ventilation([ 3.9 ± 1.5 ] d vs [ 1 1.6 ± 2. 3 ] d, t = - 17. 256, P ＜ 0. 01),in internal-fixation group were significantly shorter than those in external-fixation group. The occurrence rate of respiratory complications (including pulmonary inflammation and (or) atelectasis and (or) respiratory failure)in internal-fixation group was significantly lower than those in external-fixation group(35.6% vs. 70. 7% ,x2 =10.641,P ＜ 0.01). Conclusion Rib internal fixation for traumatic flail chest can quickly correct chest wall deformity, stabilize thoracis and eliminate paradoxical chest wall movement. Patients accepted this treatment have a shorter therapy process during the intensive care unit and hospital stay, less pulmonary complications. They also show less long-term restrictive pulmonary functions impairment, when compared to the patients in the thoracic external fixation group. Rib internal fixation with Ti-Ni shape memory alloy embracing connector is a simple and effective therapy.

Objective To study the value and clinical significance of diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)in differentiating high-grade astrocytomas and solitary metastatic tumors of brain.Methods 16 patients with intracranial solitary metastasis and 25 patients with high-grade astrocytoma confirmed pathologically were examined with MR DTI.Mean diffusivity(MD)and fractional anisotropy(FA)were measured in the regions of interest(ROI)of peritumor and cerebral parenchyma of the normal side on DTL Fiber tractography was reconstructed and the encountered patterns of tumor-related alteration to cerebral white matter were observed.Results The peritumor were all depicted as hyperintense or isointense signals on DTI.The FA values were 0.227±0.05 and 0.169±0.07 in the peritumor of high-grade astrocytoma and metastasis respectively,which was of significant difference(P＜0.05).Furthermore,fiber tractography could display the course of white matter tracts in three-dimensional space.Conclusion DTI may be help to differential diagnosis of solitary metastasis and high-grade astrocytoma in clinical practice.

Objective:To explore the way to separate and culture eutopic and ectopic endometrial glandular cells and their stromal cells,providing an in vitro cell model of endometriosis for study of its mechanism. Methods:Digestion,filtration and sedimentation were used to isolate and culture the eutopic and ectopic endometrial glandular cells and their stromal cells. The estrogen level was imatated to study the way of promoting cell growth. Morphological characters of eutopic and ectopic endometrial cells were examined using optical microscope. Results:The success rate of separation and culture of normal control endometrial glandular cells and its stromal cells was 91.7%(11/12);of eutopic endometrial glandular cells and its stromal cells of endometriosis was 93.8%(15/16);of etopic endometrial glandular cells and its stromal cells of endometriosis was 75.0%(12/16) . Conclusion:The cultured eutopic and ectopic endometrial cells is more like human body feature than the endometriosis model of animals. So the isolation and culture of eutopic and ectopic endometrial glandular cells and their stromal cells may serve as an in vitro experimental model.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of compound ocimum oil oral suspension in the treatment of children with acute diarrhea(Piweixure Syndrome).Methods 382 children with acute diarrhea(Piweixure Syndrome) were selected for the multi center and open clinical trial.All patients was treated by compound ocimum oil oral suspension based on age and weight,6 months below 3mL thrice a day,6-＜ 12months 5mL thrice a day,12-＜24 months 10mL thrice a day,24 months upper 20-40 mL thrice a day.The course was three days.The efficacy and safety was observed.Results The total efficiency was 93.98％,there were 274 cases with marked effect and 85 case with effective in analysis on clinical efficacy.There were significant differences between before and after therapy on symptoms and signs as defecation frequency,defecation characters and defecation disesthesia (x2 =467.43,524.51,263.03,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Compound ocimum oil oral ouspension in the treatment of children with acute diarrhea(Piweixure Syndrome) has definite effect and safety.It would be applied to clinical wildly with advantages as shorten the course,decreased diarrhea times and improved clinical symptoms.

Objective To explore the inhibitory effects of lobaplatin and cisplatin and their regulation of apoptosis-related genes in ovarian cancer cells in nude mice.Methods SKOV3 cells were implanted into nude mice.In monotherapy treatment study,the nude mice bearing human SKOV3 cells were randomly divided into control,lobaplatin,and cisplatin groups,with 7 mice in each group.The mice in each group were received corresponding treatment.The volume of tumor and the weight of nude mice were measured three times per week,respectively.Tumor inhibitory rate was calculated.The protein expressions of bax and bcl-2 were detected by flow cytometry.Results The growth inhibitory rate was 47.2％ in lobaplatin group and 42.8％ in cisplatin group,without significant difference between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).The expression of bcl-2 was decreased but the bax was increased in lobaplatin and ciaplatin groups compared to the control group.Conclusions Lobaplatin can significantly inhibit the growth of ovarian cancer cells,induce apoptosis by down-regulation of bcl-2 and up-regulation of bax.
