Objective:To investigate the influence of type A behavior in the occurrence and development of chromic periodontitis and compare the differences among people with different behavior types in the occurrence and development of chronic periodontitis, and to explore the influence of psychological factors in the process of periodontitis.Methods:According the same standard,132 patients with periodontitis were selected as periodontitis group,and 126 patients without periodontitis were used as control group.OralSurveys Basic Methods proposed by WHO in 1987 and ReferenceStandard of Diagnosis and Treatment of Periodontitis made by AAP in 2000 were used to dignose the periodontitis.All subjects finished type A behavior and SCL-90 questionnaire (ZHANG Boyuan 1983,revision in 1985 ), their scores were recorded and the results were analyzed by t test. Results:The proportion of type A behavior in periodontits group (68.94%)was higher than that in control group (27.78%) (P<0.05)compared with type M and type B behavior.The scores of hostility (1.54±0.38),anxiety (1.47± 0.39),depression (1.41 ± 0.37),interpersonal sensitivity (1.23 ± 0.39),compulsive (1.72 ± 0.46),and somatizition (1.47 ± 0.38)were significantly higher than those in control group (1.32 ± 0.30, 1.29 ± 0.24, 1.25±0.23,1.04± 0.17,1.41 ± 0.35,1.25 ± 0.24).The calculus index (CI)of the people with type A behavior was higher than those of the people with other types of behavior (P<0.05).Conclusion:The people with tyep A behawior is easier to get periodontitis than other people.

The paper analyzes and discusses the necessity of integrating computational thinking into basic computer teaching by combining characteristics of medical undergraduates and the current situation and tendency of basic computer teaching,and states the thought and method of solving problems with the computational thinking by taking mind mapping and program design thought as the teaching cases,in order to cultivate the consciousness and ability of students in constructing problem solutions by taking advantage of the computational thinking.

Objective: Clone, express and purify human recombinant calreticulin (CRT). Methods: Human CRT cDNA was amplified from total RNA of human lung cancer cell line A549 cells by RT-PCR. Then, PCR product was subcloned into prokaryotic expression vector pET-15b. After sequencing, this recombinant plasmid was transformed into E.coli. Rossetta. Recombinant CRT was expressed in host cells by IPTG induction. Resulted protein was purified by Ni-NTA resin under denature condition and dialyzed to recover its native structure. SDS-PAGE and Western blot method were used to identify the expression and purification of reconbinant CRT. Results: Human CRT cDNA was cloned from total RNA of A549 cells. CRT prokaryotic expression vector pET-15b-crt was constructed. Reconbinant CRT was induced to express in E.coli and purified by Ni-NTA affinity chromatograph. Conclusion: A method for prokaryotic expression and purification of human recombinant CRT was successfully established. This method laid a foundation for the subsequent CRT research.

Objective To compare the effects of medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) and compound norethisterone enanthate (CNE) on the susceptibility of BABL/c mice to lower reproductive tract infection with chlamydia trachomatis (Ct). Methods A total of 60 BALB/c mice were randomly and equally divided into 6 groups:MPA-pretreated control group and CNE-pretreated control group inoculated with MyCoy cell suspensions in the vagina on the 5th day after single treatment with MPA and CNE respectively, blank control group receiving no treatment, MPA-pretreated infected group and CNE-pretreated infected group inoculated with 1 × 107 inclusion-forming units(IFU)of Ct serovar E in the vagina on the 5th day after single treatment with MPA and CNE respectively, control infected group inoculated with the same quantity of IFU of Ct serovar E in the vagina but receiving no pretreatment. On day 4, 7 and 14 after inoculation, vaginal irrigation fluid was obtained from all the mice for cell culture of Ct. Three mice were randomly selected from each of these groups at the above three time points and sacrificed, and vaginal and uterine tissue specimens were obtained for hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining and microscopic examination. Chi-square test and Fisher's exact test were conducted to compare infection rate among different groups. Results No growth of Ct was observed in the three control groups at the above time points. The culture-positive rate of Ct was 1/10 on day 4 but 0 on day 7 and 14 in both the CNE-pretreated infected group and control infected group, 7/10 on day 4, 2/7 on day 7 but 0 on day 14 in the MPA-pretreated infected group. Fisher's exact test revealed that the culture-positive rate of Ct was significantly higher in the MPA-pretreated infected group than in the control infected group and CNE-pretreated infected group on day 4 (both P =0.03), but similar among the three infected groups on day 7 (P = 0.23). Both the MPA-pretreated control group and infected group showed an increase in endovaginal mucus, thinning of vaginal stratified squamous epithelium, mucification of vaginal epithelium, presence of secretions in vaginal lumen and submucosal infiltration of a few inflammatory cells on day 4, 7 and 14, as well as appearance of pathological changes (including the presence of large quantities of purulent secretions in lumen, mild tissue edema and submucosal infiltration of a few inflammatory cells) in the vagina on day 4. Vaginal tissues were normal in both the CNE-pretreated infected group and control group at the above three time points, but mild tissue edema, lumen expansion, secretion retention and infiltration of scattered inflammatory cells were observed in the uterus on day 4 after inoculation. Conclusions MPA can arrest the estrous cycle of mice at diestrus with the mucification of vaginal epithelium, which may increase the susceptibility to Ct vaginal infection in mice. In contrast, CNE has no obvious effect on the estrous cycle and susceptibility to Ct vaginal infection despite of the appearance of pathological changes in the uterus.

Objective To explore the influence of middle cerebral artery blood flow on mechanical ventilation in very low birth weight premature after using Budesonide(BUD) mixed with pulmonary surfactant(PS),and to explore the protection mechanism of cerebral injury.Methods Forty premature infants (gestational age ＜ 34 weeks,birth weight ＜ 1 500 g) with respiratory distress syndrome(RDS) were randomly assigned into study group and control group in Nanjing Maternal and Child Health Hospital from Aug.2010 to Mar.2012.PS and BUD mixture was used in study group (Per 70 mg PS adding BUD 0.25 mg),PS dose of 70 mg/kg,BUD dose of 0.25 mg/kg.Control group was only administered with PS,dose 70 mg/kg.It was administered intratracheally after 30 to 60 minutes of birth in both groups.The index of blood flow rate and blood vessel elasticity of arteria cerebri media [including systolic velocity (Vs),diastolic velocity (Vd),mean velocity (Vm),resistant index (RI) and elasticity index (PI)] were monitored by using transcranial Doppler.Results The Vs increased steadily in study group,but instability in control group,and there were of statistical differences on the 4 d,5 d,6 d and 7 d (t =3.21,2.95,3.12,3.43,all P ＜ 0.05).The Vd increased steadily in study group,but unsteadily in control group,and there were statistical differences on the 4 d,5 d,6 d and 7 d (t =4.21,3.10,3.98,4.56,all P ＜0.05).The Vm of study group was higher than that in the PS group,and there were statistical differences on the 4 d,5 d,6 d and 7 d (t =2.68,2.98,3.98,3.57,all P ＜ 0.05).The RI of study group was higher than that in the control group,and there were statistical differences in the 5 d,6 d and 7 d(t =3.10,3.98,4.06,all P ＜ 0.05).PI steadily in study group,but instability in control group,and there were statistical differences in the 5 d,6 d and 7 d (t =4.18,3.23,3.02,all P ＜ 0.05).The overall incidence of periventricular/intraventricular hemorrhage showed no significant difference,but severe periventricular/intraventricular hemorrhage (grade Ⅲ,Ⅳ) of study group was less than that in the control group (x2 =4.80,P ＜ 0.05).The incidence of periventricular leukomalacia was reduced in the study group compared with that in the control group (x2 =3.31,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The very low birth weight infants treated with mechanical ventilation show steady cerebral blood flow and lower incidence of brain injury after using BUD mixed with pulmonary surfactant.

To solve separating problem of natural soda, fifty-seven strains screened from soil, floul water and activated mud were of flocculating activity. Two strains of bacteria, which were screened from above mentioned strains have higher activity and better steady than the whole culture liquid of bacteria was observed that its flocculating use to natural soda was strong and the mean flocculating rate of two strains were 79.80% and 87.% respectively.

Objective To explore the clinical features of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) in aged patients in China. Methods The 711 patients with HCM in our hospital from Sep 2002 to Sep 2008 were retrospectively reviewed. Clinical data were compared between patients older and younger than 65 years. Results The 103 patients(14.5%) were older than 65 years. Compared with those patients younger than 65 years, the aged patients had a higher prevalence in female (52. 5 vs 29. 0%, P<0. 01), in comorbidity (64. 1% vs 25.0%, P<0, 01)and in atrial fibrillation (21.4% vs 14.0%, P<0. 05). Cardiac insufficiency was the most common symptom in aged patients with HCM. The age(r=0. 213, P<0. 05), size of left atrium (r=0. 308, P<0. 01) and atrial fibrillation (r= 0. 362, P<0. 01) had significant correlation with heart function. The 24 % of patients had one or more major risks for HCM-related sudden cardiac death (SCD), among which syncope was most common. Conclusions A higher prevalence of comorbidity, a higher incidence of atrial fibrillation and worse heart function existed in aged patients with HCM. The major risks for HCM-related SCD should not be neglected in evaluation for aged patients.
