2.Evidence based therapy for primary liver cancer

Progress in multi-disciplinary therapy for primary liver cancer (PLC) increases the 5-year survival rate from 2.6% to 20.6%.However,the overall survival rate failed to increase significantly in the past twenty years because of lack of standardization in treatment of PLC.It is important to establish clinical guidelines which are based on randomized controlled trials,meta analysis,or systematic reviews.This review summarizes the pertinent clinical trials on PLC therapies published before October 2010.The articles were selected by a comprehensive literature search using the terms ‘liver neoplasms',‘ hepatectomy',‘ liver transplantation',‘ transarterial chemoembolization',‘ radiofrequency ablation',‘ percutaneous ethanol injection',‘ radiotherapy',‘ biological therapy',‘ chemotherapy',or ‘ Chinese herbs’.
3.Effect of astragalus injection on serum oxygen free radical, TGF-β1 and vascular endothelial function in diabetes mellitus

Objective To investigate the effect of astragalus injection on serum oxygen free radical, TGF-β1 and vascular endothelial function in diabetes mellitus.Methods 120 cases of type 2 diabetic patients were selected from December 2010 to December 2014 as the object of study, 2 groups of patients underwent diabetic education and diet, exercise therapy, the control group were treated with metformin hydrochloride tablets, and the observation group were combined with astragalus injection, the contents of SOD, MDA and GSH-PX were compared between the 2 groups.The serum levels of TGF-β1, VEGF, ANG-1 and AOPP were compared between 2 groups.Results After treatment, comared with control group, the serum MDA and AOPP were higher, the GSH-PX and SOD were higher; the TGF-β1 were lower; the VEGF and ANG-1 were higher in observation group ( P <0.05).Conclusion Astragalus injection could improve the function of vascular endothelium in patients with diabetes, reduce the transforming growth factor β1, improving the free radical aggregation state.
4.Application of classification and decision trees in the analysis of the examination paper of introduc-tion of nursing

Objective To analyze the correlation between students' scores and master degree of knowledge points in the close examination of the unit introduction of nursing. Methods A classification decision tree model was used to analyze the relationship between students' achievement and knowledge points in 321 grade 2014 nursing students. Results There were 20 knowledge points in the paper, 7 of which had significant influence on scores; there were 27 nodes,16 of which were leaf nodes; the overall predicted percentage was 86.0%. Conclusions The total score is related to knowledge score; the total score of gifted students is higher;and for total score of medium students is medium;and for total score of poor is lower. Measures to reform teaching methods and evaluation scheme should be taken.
5.Progress in animal models for predicting the results of clinical trials of cancer drugs

Due to practical and ethical concerns associated with human experiments, animal models have been essential in cancer research.Vast resources are expended during the development of new cancer therapeutics, and selection of optimal in vivo models should improve this process.Genetically engineered mouse models ( GEMM) of cancer have progressively improved in technical sophistication and, accurately recapitulating the human cognate condition, have provided opportunities to accelerate the development of cancer drugs.In this article we consider the different types of animal models used for predicting the results of clinical trials of cancer drugs, and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each in this regard.In addition, the methods of predicting in vivo models and clinical translation are discussed.
6.Review on Experience of CUI Shu-sheng's Practice in Treating Insomnia

Insomnia is the important factor affecting people's lives. The long-term lacking of sleep can not only affects people's daily life, but also can lead to a variety of mental illness. With the development of society, the life and working styles of people have changed a lot, and the number of patients with insomnia is increasing. However, the main therapy of insomnia is the Western medicine with calming and sedative efficacy. This kind of medicine has side effects, and long-term application can cause resistance and addiction. This article introduced the fourth batch of 100 old TCM doctors Professor CUI Shu-sheng's profound understanding of insomnia etiology and pathogenesis. Combined with the function features of Tuina, he summarized the Ten Methods of head massage. The Ten Methods of head massage has the characteristics which are light but not float, heavy but not hurt, and gentle and strong. The main operation places are head and face; thus, it can relieve the scalp and dredge qi and blood of head and face. Because the doctor can guide patients to calm down and focus on their public region and soothe their body, it has the effects of harmonizing yin and yang, calming, and soothing.
7.THE STUDY OF PATHOGENIC BACTERIA AND WHOLE CELL VACCINE ON SPARUS LATUS VIBRIO DISEASE

Physiological and biochemical characteristics,drug sensitivity of pathogenic bacteria isolated from the diseased Sparus latus in Zhanjiang,Guangdong,and inactivated whole cell vaccine were studied.The results show that the isolated strain is Vibrio alginolyticus and is highly sensitive to tetracycline,gentamycin,chloramphenicol,and so on.But it is not sensitive to erythromycin and penicillin K.It also shows that the pathogen is inactivated more easily at pH6.0 than at pH8.4 when formalin is used.The whole cell vaccine can strengthen Sparus latus's immuno function and lessen their death rate when fish are infected by the Vibrio alginolyticus.
8.Relationship between TGF-β1 509T/C Gene Polymorphism and Liver Cirrhosis: a Meta-Analysis

Objective To evaluate the relationship between genetic polymorphism of transforming growth factor(TGF) β1 and susceptibility of liver cirrhosis.Methods CBM,VIP,CNKI,Wanfang technological periodical full-text databases and Pubmed from set up to March,2017 were electronically searched to identify case-control studies on the relationship between genetic polymorphism of TGF-β1 promoter 509 site,and liver cirrhosis.The data were quantitatively analyzed by Stata 12.0 software after assessing the quality of included studies.Results Ten case-control studies were selected for Meta-analysis based on our inclusion and exclusion standards.The results of Meta-analysis showed that the pooled OR value for liver cirrhosis with T allele of TGF-β1 gene at promoter 509 was 1.07 (95% CI:0.81-1.41),the pooled OR values of dominant gene model analysis (TT + CT vs CC) were 1.08 (95% CI:0.73-1.61).No significant publication bias was found.Conlcusion The genetic polymorphism of TGF-β1 at promoter 509 showed no association with susceptibility of liver cirrhosis.
9.Clinical Predicting Factors of Adefovir Dipivoxil Therapy in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis B.

Objective To analyze the efficacy and the predictive factors of adefovir dipivoxil (ADV) therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).Methods Fifty two CHB patients were recruited in this study.All patients were treated for 52 weeks.Liver function,blood cell amounts and HBV DNA levels were detected at time course.Results At time point of 4 weeks,the serum HBV DNA level in good response group were significantly less than poor response group (2.48 ± 0.45 log10 vs 4.72 ± 0.28 log10,P < 0.05).The decreased log value of HBV DNA in good response group was significantly higher than poor response group (3.31 ± 0.36 vs 1.54 ± 0.44,P <0.05).At time point of 12 weeks,the decreased log value of HBV DNA and neutrophil percent in good response group were significantly higher than poor response group [3.31 ± 0.36 vs 1.54 ± 0.44,(58.38 ± 2.08) × 109/L vs (46.90 ± 3.01) × 109/L,P < 0.05],the serum HBV DNA level and red blood cell level in good response group were significantly less than poor response group[0.80 ± 0.27 log10vs4.63 ±0.43 log10,(4.50±0.08) ×1012/L vs (6.01 ±0.13) × 1012/L,P <0.05].Conclusion The decreased log value of HBV DNA and red blood cell level of 12weeks are the independently predictive factors for adefovir dipivoxil (ADV) therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B.

CMTM家族作为一个新的基因家族,在免疫、生殖等系统以及多种肿瘤的发病机制中起到重要作用。CMTM家族中, CMTM1可影响细胞增殖,导致肿瘤发生;与非小细胞肺癌(NSCLC)患者的化疗耐药和预后有关。CMTM2通过AP-1、CREB通 路一定程度上影响HIV-1转录,同时在男性生殖系统中起重要作用。CMTM3等位基因失活或甲基化使其丧失对细胞增殖的负 性调控能力,是胃癌独立的预后指标。CMTM4调控细胞周期影响肿瘤细胞增殖,通过对PD-L1的协同保护参与免疫逃逸。 CMTM5在许多肿瘤中沉默表达,参与肿瘤发生发展相关的信号通路。CMTM6协同PD-L1参与免疫逃逸,是潜在的免疫治疗靶 点。CMTM7在NSCLC中通过Rab5控制EGFR-AKT信号影响肿瘤发展,且与胃癌发展相关。CMTM8通过MARVEL区域影响 EGFR和相关信号通路,调控细胞增殖、分化和凋亡等。上述重要发现,为研究肿瘤的发生发展及肿瘤基因治疗提供了新思路。
