Objective To evaluate the effects of combined induction therapy of interferon(IFN) and chemotherapy on survival of the patients with small cell lung cancer(SCLC)by meta-analysis.Methods Search all of clinical trials for addition of IFN to initial chemotherapy and single chemotherapy for induction therapy in SCLC patients in MEDLINE、EMBASE and COCHRANE Library.The references of related studies and education books of ASCO and ESMO meeting were handsearched.The quality of included trials was evaluated.Data were extracted by two reviewers independently with a designed extraction form.Revman 4.2.7 software was used for data analysis.Results The addition of IFN increased 1-year survival and response rate,but both of the results had no significant statistical difference.Conclusion IFN-chemotherapy induction treatment might not influence survival and response rate of patients with NSCLC.To resolve the problem,a series of controlled,prospective,randomized,double-blind,well-designed,multi-center trials should be performed.

Objective To analyze the correlation between 18F-FDG SUV and immunohistochemical index including GLUT1, Ki-67, MVD, survivin and cyclinA in non-snall-cell lung cancer. Methods Thirty-three patients with NSCLC underwent preoperative PET/CT examination and surgical operation. All patients were divided into two groups according to the size of tumor (cutoff=3 cm), metastasis of mediastinal or hilar lymph nodes or not, and histological types of the cancer, respectively. The expression of GLUT1, Ki-67, MVD, survivin and cyclinA were estimated with SP immunohistochemical technique, and were analyzed statistically to reveal the correlation to FDG SUV. Results The rate of positive expression of GLUT1, Ki-67 and CD34 were 66.67%, 72.73% and 100%, respectively. The mean value of CD34 in all 33 patients was 12.6±2.9 (12-56). The rate of positive expression of survivin was 84.85%, and the corresponding data of cyclinA was 27.27%. Conclusion There is linear correlation between FDG PET SUV and GLUT1, but not between FDG PET SUV and Ki-67, MVD, survivin and cyclinA. The expressions of GLUT1, Ki-67, MVD, survivin and cyclinA are not related with the size of tumor, nor metastasis of lymph nodes. The expression of GLUT1 and Ki-67 is related with histological types of the cancer, but not with MVD, survivin and cyclinA.

Objective To observe the effect of capsaicin on lipid deposition in liver cells and the expression of autophagy,to provide new ideas and targets for the study of fatty liver disease.Methods The model of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was established by inducing LGF cell line of liver primary cells with oleic acid (40 μg/mL).The experiment was divided into blank control group,oleic acid group,capsaicin group[oleic acid--capsaicin(100 μmol/L)].The level of intracellular lipid was detected by oil red O staining and triglyceride (TG) kit.Western bolt was used to detect the expression level of autophagy marker molecule p62 and LC3,and to calculate the ratio of LC3 Ⅱ/LC3-Ⅰ.Results After treated with 40 μg/mL oleic acid for 24 h,the oil red O staining showed that orange-red lipid droplets were found in the oleic acid group,but there was no obvious orange-red lipid droplet formation in the blank group,which suggesting that the NAFLD cell model was established successfully by using 40 μg/mL oleic acid in vitro.Oil red O staining was observed,the cells in the capsaicin group were significantly less than the oleic acid group,and the content of triglyceride in the liver cells was significantly lower than that in the oleic acid group(P＜0.05).Western bolt test results showed that capsaicin group p62 protein levels were significantly lower compared with the oleic acid group(P＜0.05),while the LC3-Ⅱ/LC3-Ⅰ ratio was higher than that of oleic acid group(P＜0.05).Conclusion NAFLD model was established by inactivating LO2 cell line with oleic acid in vitro.Capsaicin stimulated NAFLD cells,upregulated the autophagy level of NAFLD cells and reduced intracellular lipid deposition,but the specific mechanism need further study.

Objective:To explore the relationship between the lipid accumulation product index (LAP) and the risk of carotid atherosclerosis in different gender groups.Methods:The data of 2 740 employees of Dalian municipal government and institutions, including 1 583 males and 1 157 females, who had underwent physical examination in Dalian Municipal Central Hospital Affiliated of Dalian Medical University from January to June 2018 were analyzed retrospectively. The general data, laboratory indexes and carotid ultrasound data of the population were collected, and the body mass index (BMI) and LAP value were calculated. According to carotid intima-media thickness (IMT), the subjects were divided into carotid atherosclerosis group (IMT ≥ 1.0 mm) and carotid normal group (IMT<1.0 mm). The clinical indicators between the two groups were compared. Independent risk factors for carotid atherosclerosis were analyzed by binary Logistic regression, and the cutoff point for predicting carotid atherosclerosis by LAP was calculated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve.Results:The age, waist circumference (WC), hip circumference (HC), LAP, BMI, total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), fasting plasma glucose (FPG), systemic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and the prevalence of hypertension and diabetes in the male and female population carotid atherosclerosis groups were significantly higher than those in the normal group ( P<0.05). The results of binary Logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting age, BMI, HC, WC, smoking, drinking, hypertension, diabetes, TC and LDL-C, the risk of carotid arteriosclerosis still increased 1.316 times with each quartile interval of LAP in women ( OR= 1.316, 95% CI 1.063 to 1.629, P = 0.012). In men, after adjusting for these factors, the independent effect of LAP on the risk of carotid atherosclerosis disappeared. In women, the area under curve (AUC) of LAP in predicting carotid atherosclerosis was 0.713, significantly higher than that of BMI (AUC 0.614) and WC (AUC 0.654), and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). But there was no significant difference among the three indexes in the male population in predicting carotid atherosclerosis. According to ROC curve, the best cut-off value of LAP for predicting carotid atherosclerosis was 32.13 cm·mmol/L in men and 33.70 cm·mmol/L in women. Conclusions:LAP is an independent risk factor for carotid atherosclerosis in female population, and its predictive ability for carotid atherosclerosis is higher than that of body mass index and waist circumference. LAP ≥ 33.70 cm·mmol/L can be used as the best cut-off value for screening carotid atherosclerosis in female population.

A series of experiments were conducted to study the mutation of Kloechera apiculata by many kinds of treatments such as UV and UV+LiCl.The optimal dosage disposal was determined:15 W 30 cm under Ultraviolet irradiation for 20 s,UV+LiCl under Ultraviolet irradiation for 20 s and added LiCl 0.3% (w/v).One strain(UV20-13)which had obvious physiological characteristic was obtained.the incidence of blue and green mold of citrus was reduced by 25.56%and 10.00%in vivo experiment after 7 days respectively. The strain UV20-13 was tested by the experiments of subculture and dynamic growth,and the results showed that the strain UV20-13 was better than K.apiculata in the growth characteristics,and it did not appear retrogression,reversion mutation ect after subculturing 10 generations.Therefore the strain UV20-13 had genetic stability.

Hypoxic-ischemic brain damage (HIBD) is referred to a common type of cerebral damage, which is caused by injury, leading to shallow bleeding in the cortex with intact cerebral pia mater. In recent years, studies show that a various kinds of immune cells and immune cellular factors are involved in the occurrence of HIBD. CC chemokine receptor 2 (CCR2) is a representative of CC chemokine receptor, and is widely distributed in cerebral neuron, astrocyte, and microglial cells, and is the main chemo-tactic factor receptor in brain tissue. CC chemokine ligand 2 (CCL2) is a kind of basophilic protein and the ligand of CCR2, and plays an important role in inflammation. In order to provide evidence for correlational studies in HIBD, this review will introduce the biological characteristics of CCR2 and CCL2, and illustrate the relationship between the immunoreactivity and HIBD.

Objective To investigate the ultrastructure and function changes of the thyroid parafollicular cell in ANP rats and to study the possible mechanism of hypocalcemia during ANP.Methods Thirty-two male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:sham operation group ( SO group) and ANP 3,6,12 h groups.ANP model was induced by retrograde injection of 5％ sodium taurocholate into the biliopancreatic duct. The serum levels of amylase,lipoidase,calcitonin and Ca2+ were measured.The pathological changes in pancreatic tissue were observed.The ultrastructure changes of thyroid parafollicular cell were observed.ResultsThe serum levels of amylase,lipoidase,calcitonin and Ca2+ were (4025 ±579)U/L,(8272 ± 794) U/L,(383.6 ± 64.5) pg/ml,(2.41 ± 0.12) mmol/L at 6h in ANP group,which were significantly higher than those in SO group [ ( 1063 ± 129 ) U/L,( 55 ± 18 ) U/L,( 143.1 ± 42.2 ) pg/ml,(2.97 ±0.12 ) mmol/L ( P ＜0.05 ) ].Under the electron-microscopy,the nucleus of thyroid parafollicular cells shrinked and mitochondrial proliferation and endoplasmic reticulum fusion appeared.After 6 h,all the organelle reduced and disappeared,and only small amount of secretory granules remained.Conclusions Changes in the structure and function of the thyroid parafollicular cells occur in rats of ANP,and they induce the development of hypocalcemia.

Objective To investigate the effects and mechanisms of poly adenosine diphosphate (ADP)-ribose polymerase inhibitor 3-aminobenzamide (3-AB) on kidney injury in rates with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).Methods Fifty-six male Wistar rats were divided into the sham operation (SO) group,SAP (3,6,12 hours) groups,and 3-AB + SAP (3,6,12 hours) groups,and there were 8 rats in each group.SAP model was established by retrograde injection of 5％ sodium taurocholate into the biliopancreatic duct.Rats in the 3-AB + SAP group were infused with 3-AB (20 μg/g) via femoral vein 30 minutes before SAP model establishment.The serum amylase,kidney function and renal myeloperoxidase (MPO) were determined,and pathological scores of pancreatic and renal tissues were evaluated under light microscope.Renal poly ADP-ribose formation,intercellular adhesion molecules-1 (ICAM-1) and P-selectin expression were detected by the Western blot.All data were analyzed using the analysis of variance or t test.Renal injury grading was analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis nonparametric test.Results The levels of serum amylase of SAP 3,6,12 groups were (3806 ± 229)U/L,(4898 ± 295) U/L and (5726 ± 372) U/L,which were significantly higher than (2785 ± 160) U/L,(3241 ± 198) U/L and (3953 ± 249) U/L of the 3-AB + SAP groups (t =3.652,4.672,4.407,P ＜ 0.05).The levels of blood urea nitrogen were (11.6 ± 0.8) mmol/L,(19.3 ± 1.3) mmol/L and (29.6 ± 2.1) mmol/L,which were higher than (7.5 ± 0.5) mmol/L,(10.5 ± 0.7) mmol/L and (21.6 ± 1.5) mmol/L of the 3-AB + SAP groups.There were significant differences in the levels of blood urea nitrogen between the SAP group and the 3-AB + SAP group at the 6 and 12 hours (t =3.836,6.849,P ＜0.05).The levels of creatinine of the SAP 3,6,12 hours groups were (48.7 ±3.1) μmol/L,(58.3 ±3.7) μmol/L and (75.9 ±5.4) μmol/L,which were higher than (40.7 ±2.6)μmol/L,(43.2 ± 2.6) μmol/L and (53.4 ± 3.2) μmol/L of the 3-AB + SAP groups.There were significant differences in the levels of creatinine between the SAP group and the 3-AB + SAP group at the 6 and 12 hours (t =3.279,3.073,P ＜ 0.05).The renal MPO activity of the SAP 3,6,12 hours groups were (0.69 ± 0.06) U/g,(1.07 ± 0.09)U/g and (1.42 ±0.13)U/g,which were higher than (0.57 ±0.05)U/g,(0.75 ±0.06)U/g and (0.89 ± 0.07) U/g of the 3-AB + SAP groups.There were significant differences in the renal MPO activity between the SAP group and the 3-AB + SAP group at the 6 and 12 hours (t =3.066,4.012,P ＜ 0.05).The pancreatic pathological scores of the SAP 3,6 and 12 hours group were 6.50 ± 0.53,9.06 ± 0.66 and 11.75 ± 0.89,which were significantly higher than 4.25 ± 0.31,6.06 ± 0.51 and 7.57 ± 0.59 of the 3-AB + SAP group (t =3.631,3.598,5.147,P ＜ 0.05).The structure of the kidney was normal in the SO group.Congestive changes were observed in glomerulus of kidney,the renal tubular epithelial cell was necrosed,and luminal narrowing or occlusion,hemorrhage in the intercellular substance and inflammatory cell infiltration were observed in the SAP 12 hours group.The pathological changes of the 3-AB + SAP 12 hours group were significantly slighter (P ＜ 0.05).The relative expressions of poly ADP-ribose,ICAM-1 and P-selectin of the SO group were 1.00 ±0.21,1.00 ±0.18,1.00 ± 0.16,which were significantly lower than 3.83 ± 0.63,5.42 ± 0.83,3.71 ± 0.48 of the SAP 12 hours group (t =6.955,23.107,10.352,P ＜ 0.05).The relative expressions of poly-ADP-ribose,ICAM-1 and P-selectin of the 3-AB + SAP 12 hours group were 1.94 ± 0.36,2.35 ± 0.35,2.11 ± 0.29,which were significantly lower than SAP 12 hours group (t =3.977,12.115,5.012,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Poly ADP-ribose polymerase inhibitor 3-AB protects kidney from injury in the experimental SAP rats.Poly ADP-ribose polymerase inhibitor 3-AB functions by suppressing the ICAM-1 and P-selectin expression and reducing neutrophil infiltration.
