Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2021;37(10):738-743
Objective:To explore the impact of continuous nursing education on the quality of life, psychological state and satisfaction of patients with inflammatory bowel disease based on micro-video.Methods:In chronological order, 83 patients with inflammatory bowel disease (hospitalized from January to June, 2019 in Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology) were divided into two groups, the control group with 42 cases (discharged from the hospital from January to March, 2019) carried out regular telephone continuing nursing education and the intervention group with 41 cases (discharged from hospital from April to June, 2019) were provided the continuous nursing education in the form of telephone plus micro-video. Before intervention and after 3 months of intervention, quality of life, levels of anxiety and depression and nursing satisfaction were evaluated by inflammatory bowel disease questionnaire (IBDQ), Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS), digital table method and compared between the two groups. Results:There was no significant difference in quality of life, levels of anxiety and depression before intervention between the two groups( P>0.05). After 3 months of intervention, the scores of IBDQ, SAS, SDS were 155.1±23.7, 58.7±15.1, 59.5±11.1 in the intervention group and 115.7±21.7, 71.5±16.7, 72.8±12.0 in the control group, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant ( t values were 7.910, 3.642, 5.223, P<0.01). The nursing satisfaction score was 89.32±6.34 in the intervention group and 81.45±7.21 in the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( t value was -5.284, P<0.01). Conclusions:Continuous nursing education in the form of micro-videos can increase the quality of life of the inflammatory bowel disease patients, improve mental state and their nursing satisfaction in further.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 2018;39(3):137-140
Objective To study the effect of continuous nursing on the growth and development of extremely low birth weight preterm infants. Me thods 80 cases of extremely low birth weight preterm infants treated in the Dept. of Pediatrics, The Third People's Hospital of Yunnan Province from October 2015 to October 2016, were selected and divided into 2 groups: experimental group and control group, 40 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional nursing, the experimental group was given continuous nursing. Then the growth and development of infants in the two groups were compared. Re s ults The weight, body length, head circumference in the experimental group were significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The readmission rate in 6 months of infants in the experimental group was lower and the parents satisfaction was significantly higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclus ion Conventional nursing has significant effect for extremely low birth weight preterm infants, it can improve the growth and development of infants, reduce the hospital readmission rate, and improve parents' satisfaction.

OBJECTIVETo systematically evaluate the environmental exposure information of coke oven workers, we investigated the concentration and size distribution characteristics of the particle matter (PM) in the top working area of coke oven.
METHODSThe aerodynamic particle sizer spectrometer was employed to collect the concentration and size distribution information of PM at a top working area. The PM was divided into PM ≤ 1.0 µm, 1.0 µm < PM ≤ 2.5 µm, 2.5 µm < PM ≤ 5.0 µm, 5.0 µm < PM ≤ 10.0 µm and PM>10.0 µm based on their aerodynamic diameters. The number concentration, surface area concentration, and mass concentration were analyzed between different groups. We also conducted the correlation analysis on these parameters among groups.
RESULTSWe found the number and surface area concentration of top area particulate was negatively correlated with particle size, but mass concentration curve showed bimodal type with higher point at PM = 1.0 µm and PM = 5.0 µm. The average number concentration of total particulate matter in the top working area was 661.27 number/cm³, surface area concentration was 523.92 µm²/cm³, and mass concentration was 0.12 mg/m³. The most number of particulate matter is not more than 1 µm (PM(1.0)), and its number concentration and surface area concentration accounted for 96.85% and 67.01% of the total particles respectively. In the correlation analysis, different particle size correlated with the total particulate matter differently. And the characteristic parameters of PM2.5 cannot fully reflect the total information of particles.
CONCLUSIONThe main particulate matter pollutants in the top working area of coke oven is PM1.0, and it with PM(5.0) can account for a large proportion in the mass concentration of PM. It suggest that PM1.0 and PM(5.0) should be considered for occupational health surveillance on the particulate matter in the top area of coke oven.

Objective:
To evaluate the feeding effect of not monitoring gastric residual volume in ICU patients receiving continuous enteral feeding, including complications and calorie intake.
Methods:
We searched for relevant studies in China national knowledge internet(CNKI), Wanfang Data, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane library. We included all Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and pre-post studies related to the feeding effect of not monitoring gastric residual volume in ICU patients receiving continuous enteral feeding. Two researchers independently screened, appraised and extracted data, and meta-analysis was conducted via RevMan 5.3 software.
Results:
3 RCTs and 2 pre-post studies with 1 000 patients were included. Not monitoring gastric residual volume increase the rate of vomiting [

Journal of Southern Medical University 2018;38(2):198-204
OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of SMU.2055 gene on acid resistance of Streptococcus mutans.
METHODSA SMU.2055-dificient mutant strain of S. mutans was constructed using homologous recombination technique. The growth of the wild-type and mutant strains was monitored in both normal and acidic conditions. The lethal pH level, glycolysis, proton permeability, cell permeability and biofilm formation of the two strains were compared.
RESULTSPCR and sequence analyses verified the successful construction of the SMU.2055-dificient mutant strain. The growth and biofilm formation capacity of the mutant strain were obviously lowered in both normal and acidic conditions. The mutant strain also showed increased lethal pH level, proton permeability, and cell permeability with impaired H-ATPase activity in acidic conditions, but its minimum glycolytic pH remained unaffected.
CONCLUSIONThe SMU.2055-deficient S. mutans mutant exhibits a lowered acid resistance, which affects the growth, lethal pH, proton permeability, H-ATPase activity, cell permeability and biofilm formation but not the minimum glycolytic pH of the mutant strain.
