1.The effects of FuYuan capsule on interleukin beta 1 and transforming growth factor beta 2 in articular cartilage of experimental osteoarthritis model
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(08):-
Objective:To study the effects of FuYuan capsule on articular cartilage degradation and expression of interleukin beta 1 and transforming growth factor beta 2 in osteoarthritis(OA).Methods:Fifty-four healthy New Zealand rabbits received unilateral anterior cruciate ligament transaction(ACTL)to establish model of OA.One week after operation they were randomly divided into 4 groups, named as model control group and FuYuan capsule low, moderate and high dose groups with 12 rabbits in each group. The other 6 rabbits divided into normal control and model control group were given physiological saline.Treatment groups were perfused with FuYuan capsule(727mg/kg、1453mg/kg、4795mg/kg)once a day for 4,8 and 12 weeks.Samples of joint were collected at the 4th,8th,and 12th week after managements for general, light microscopic and electron microcope observation, and the distribution of IL-1?and TGF?2 of cartilage was documented by immunohistochemistry.Cartilage of medial femoral condyles and tibial plateau at the margin of lesion nearby were obtained and mRNA expression of TGF?2 was detected using reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).Results:Cartilage degeneration in FuYuan capsule group was significantly slighter than that in model control group. The levels of IL-1? in treatment groups were lower significantly than those in model control group(P
2.Effects of Pine Pollen on Expression of p16 and p21 in Human Embryonic Lung Diploid Fibroblasts
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2007;0(01):-
[Objective] To observe the effects of pine pollen on the changes of p16INK4a and p21WAF1 in 2BS cells.[Method]The 2BS cells were cultured from 28 population doubling(PD)and divided equally into the young control group, old control group,middle-dose pine pollen group(120mg/dl)and high-dose pine pollen group(240mg/dl)randomly.Regulate the phases of cell cycle by flow cytometry, and then the expression of p16INK4a,p21WAF1 mRNA were determined by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.[Result]The amount of cells in G1 phase was depressed in middle-dose pine pollen group(72.73%?1.76%)and high-dose pine pollen group(64.15%?0.87%)than in old control group(81.33%?3.43%)noticeablely(P
3.New glaucoma surgeries in and around Schlemm's canal
Ophthalmology in China 1993;0(03):-
Filtration surgeries, especially trabeculectomy, are the most common surgeries for glaucoma.Although trabeculectomy has excellent efficacy for reducing intraocular pressure(IOP),glaucoma filtering blebs have been frequently associated with various postoperative complications including filtering bleb failure and ocular surface dysfunctions.Surgical treatments of the natural aqueous outflow system,in and around Schlemm's canal,to restore normal function without penetration of the intraocular space has been considerable interest in recent years as glaucoma surgeons continue their quest for a procedure that reduces IOP without the risk related with filtering bleb.As a result, more blebless glaucoma surgeries have developed gradually in the past years.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(12):-
With the development of the medical imaging and computer aided technology, the trend of the medical imag es visualization from2D to3D is focused. This paper introduces the methods and ke y technology of3D medical images visualization, and discusses its applications to medical diagnoses and clinic therapy. There is a promising direction in the fiel ds of virtual endoscope, computer assisted operation and long-distance operation.
5.Therapeutic Progression of Recurrent Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2009;30(7):37-40
The status and progression of therapy for recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma are expounded, including radio-therapy, surgery, chemotherapy and targeted therapy, etc. Radiotherapy is the most important mode that three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy and intensity modulation radiation therapy are strongly recommended in order to reduce the impairment of normal tissue. Surgical therapy is reasonable for the early stage patients who relapse less than a year from the initial treatment with surgical indication. Conventional radiotherapy with or without brachytherapy is recommended for those who relapse more than one year without surgical indication. Radiotherapy combining with chemotherapy, targeted therapy and sensitizer is proposed for the patients with local advanced stage by re-staging.
6.The feasibility of using International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health core set for Chinesebreast cancer patients
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2010;32(1):44-46
Objective To determine the reliability, validity and feasibility of using International Classifica-tion of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) core set for breast cancer in Chinese patients. Methods Quality of life (QOL) of 110 patients with breast cancer were investigated using ICF breast cancer core set and SF-36 scale. Statistical analysis tested their reliability, validity and feasibility. Results It was shown that the ICF core set for breast cancer had good reliability, validity and feasibility. Conclusions The ICF core set for breast cancer is a re-liable and valid instrument for Chinese breast cancer patients.

10. Anti-Hepatoma activity of wogonin on HepG2 cell in vitro
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2013;48(12):968-971
OBJECTIVE: To study the growth inhibitory and apoptosis-inducing effect of wogonin on hepatocarcinoma cell line HepG2. METHODS: HepG2 cell line was treated with various concentrations of wogonin. Proliferation was determined by MTT test and morphology observation. Flow cytometry was applied to detect the wogonin-induced apoptosis and to analyse the cell cycle. Western blot was used to detect HDAC1 and HDAC2 expression. RESULTS: Wogonin had a growth inhibitory and apoptosis-inducing effect on HepG2 cell. The cell showed G2/M arrest by cell cycle analysis. A characteristic apoptosis change including nuclear disintergration and chromatin agglomerate was displayed. Western blot results show increase of cleave PARP, but not change in HDAC1, HDAC2 expression. CONCLUSION: Wogonin has a growth inhibitory and apoptosis-inducing effect on hepatocarcinoma cell line HepG2.
