2.Progress in studying of damage of venous valves in deep vein thrombosis
International Journal of Surgery 2013;40(9):625-628
Venous valve plays an important role in regulating the venous flow,especially in preventing the blood backflow.It has heen observed that when deep vein thrombosis and dissolved,the valves in the lesions had been destroied or dysfunction.The mechanism of damage of vein valve has not been fully clarified,but as we know,it's common that the inflammatory reaction,due to many unfavorable factors,can cause thrombosis.On the other hand,deep vein thrombosis could bring out the inflammatory reaction as well.So the author will review the development of researching of the destruction of venous valves in recent years.
3.Diagnostic significance of urine microalbumin test for early diabetic retinopathy
International Eye Science 2016;16(8):1480-1482
? Diabetic retinopathy is one of those significant complications of diabetes.With the increasing number of diabetic patients, blind caused by diabetic retinopathy is a serious threat to human health which cannot be neglected, but there is no highly effective treatment for it. Consequently, early detection and preventive treatment for it are important.Currently, studies have found that urine microalbumin had a close relation with diabetic retinopathy and that urine microalbumin might play an important role in early predicting of diabetic retinopathy. The review is about the diagnostic significance of urine microalbumin test for early diabetic retinopathy.
4.Chemopreventive effects of NSAIDs on colorectal cancer
Qiao MEI ; Jieping YU ;
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(05):-
Many epidemiological data and study of experiment show that adminstration of NSAIDs in long term can prevent the carcinogenesis of colorectal cancer, its mecanism can be associated with the inhibition of PG which is produced by Cox 2 way, in addition, promoting apoptosis and anti oxidation were also one of the mecanisms of NSAIDs, the new selective Cox 2 inhibitor without gastrointestinal side effect would become the chemopreventive drugs of colorectal tumor.

The cancer stem cell hypothesis posits that cancer stem cells,which are rare among the tumor cell population and share many common properties with normal stem cells,and have been positively identified and successfully isolated from some cancers,are responsible for tumorigenesis and implicated in multistage cancer progression,particularly with respect to metastasis.A better understanding may provide insights into the development of cancer stem cell-targeting therapeutic strategies.The examines what is known regarding cancer stem cells' concept,comparison with normal stem cell,potential origins,assays for isolation and their roles in metastasis.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2016;32(18):1379-1382
Objective To formulate countermeasures of improving nurses′knowledge of malignant hyperthermia by investigating theatre nurses. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate 120 theatre nurses for awareness, demand and access about malignant hyperthermia. Results Average correct response rate on the awareness of theatre nurses about malignant hyperthermia was (17.14±9.68)%.There are differences in different education, title and seniority(F=8.002,6.509,2.643,P<0.05).100.0%(120/120)theatre nurses are interested in studying knowledge related to malignant hyperthermia, 94.2%(113/120) theatre nurses are willing to learn knowledge related to malignant hyperthermia. Conclusions The awareness of theatre nurses about malignant hyperthermia is low. It is necessary to strengthen the training of theatre nurses about the knowledge of malignant hyperthermia. A variety of forms can be adopted.

Objective To compare the current therapeutic effects between endovenous radiofrequency treatment and conventional surgery for lower limb chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) ,and summarize operative skills and clinical value of endovenous radiofreq uency treatment on CVI .Methods Data of 45 limbs of 41 patients treated by endovenous radiofrequency treatment (endovenous ra-diofrequencytreatmentgroup)and20limbsof20patientsbytraditionalsurgery(traditionalsurgerygroup)wereanalyzedandcom-pared in terms of operation time ,postoperative pain ,postoperative hospitalized duration ,complications ,and one-year recurrence rate .Results Endovenous radiofrequency treatment group had less postoperative pain and shorter postoperarive hospitalized dura-tion than traditional surgery group(P<0 .05) .The operation time had no significant differences between two groups (P>0 .05) . The two groups had few complications and had no recurrence in one year .Conclusion As a minimally invasive treatment for vari-cose veins ,endovenous radiofrequency treatment has less trauma ,rapid recovery ,safe and effective ,and it is worthy to be recommen-ded .

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
Objective To report immune-reconstruction in two patients with acute radiation sickness due to 60Co radiation accident after stem cell transplantation.Methods Patient “A” and “B” were diagnosed as intestinal form of acute radiation sickness(ARS)and extremely severe degree bone marrow form of ARS,respectively.Peripheral blood stem cell transplantation was successfully performed in these two patients.During their whole disease course,absolute lymphcyte count,neutrophil leukocyte count,T-lymphocyte subsets,natural killer(NK),and immunoglobulin were sequentially determined.Results Immunoglobulin was decreased after irradiation without any recovery tendency after the transplantation.After irradiation,absolute lymphcyte count decreased rapidly,but recovered partially after the transplantation(maintained at 0.5?109/L).Neutrophilic leukocyte count rose rapidly to normal after the transplantation.NK was lowered obviously after irradiation,and it rapidly recovered to normal level after the transplantation,and maintained at a level higher than normal.After irradiation,the proportion of CD4/CD8 showed a transient rise,followed by an abrupt lowering.After the transplantation,it showed a tendency of elevation,but it did not recover to normal.Conclusions The tendency of lowering of immunoglobulin,lymphocyte count,NK cell count,and CD4/CD8 ratio indicate that there is a rapid deterioration of both cellular and humoral immunity after irradiation.Following the homogeneic peripheral blood transplantation,neutrophil count and NK cell count showed a rapid recovery,lymphocyte count and CD4/CD8 ratio also showed a tendency of slow elevation,but there is no sign of recovery of immunoglobulin.The results indicate that there is a faster recovery of cellular immunity.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of allogeneic peripheral stem cell transplantation in the treatment of acute radiation sickness.Methods Two victims were accidentally irradiated by a 60Co source in a nuclear accident in Jining,Shandong province,China in 2004.They were exposed to more than 20-25 Gy(patient A)and 9-15Gy(patient B)of 60Co-ray,and were diagnosed as having developed intestinal form of acute radiation sickness(ARS)and extremely severe bone marrow form of ARS,respectively.After the treatment with the preparative regimens based on low-doses of fludarabine,antilymphocyte globulin and cyclophosphamide,the two patients successfully received HLA-haploidentical(patient A)and HLA-identical(patient B)peripheral blood stem cell transplantation(PBSCT),respectively,7 days after the exposure.Cyclosporin A combined with mycophenolate mofetil was used for the prevention of graft-versus-host disease(GVHD).In addition,bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells from a donor were administered into patient A by intra-bone marrow injection.Results Both peripheral blood and bone marrow examinations showed the recovery of hemopoiesis after PBSCT,and neither patients displayed obvious clinical signs of GVHD.However,patient A died of septicemia and multi-organ failure on day 33 after the exposure,while patient B died of heart failure dominant multi-organ failure on day 75 after the exposure.Conclusions Allogeneic PBSCT is a feasible and effective treatment for ARS,while infection and multi-organ failure are major causes of death of the patients.
