In order to investigate whether Laribacter hongkongensis could be detected in stool samples of Rattus norvegicus in the wild,Rattus norvegicus were trapped alive in an urban community of Guangzhou,China over a period of one year from June 2015 to May 2016,and their stool samples were examined for the presence of L.hongkongensis strains.Isolates were identified based on phenotypic characteristics and 16S rRNA sequence analysis,and were examined for their susceptibility to 19 antimicrobial agents.Further typing of the isolates was performed using multi-loci sequence typing (MLST) analysis.A total of 191 R.norvegicus were trapped alive.L.hongkongensis was identified and successfully isolated from two samples,representing a prevalence of 1.05 ％.Although the two isolates possessed similar phenotypic characteristics and have no base difference of 16S rRNA gene,they constituted two new distinct sequence types (STs),ST-163 and ST-164.This is the first report that L.hongkongensis can be detected in the intestinal tract of R.norvegicus.Results suggest that R.norvegicus could serve as carriers of L.hongkongensis and therefore could be another potential source of infection.

Objective: To analyze the status of follow-up cell testing of HIV/AIDS cases among young students aged 15-24 in Guangdong Province from 2008 to 2019. Methods: Using the historical database downloaded from the AIDS Comprehensive Prevention and Control Information System from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019, eligible newly discovered cases were screened by year and were linked with follow-up database. Joinpoint regression model and trend test were used to explore the annual changes in the follow-up and CD4 testing status, and Logistic regression was used to analyze relevant influencing factors. Results: The number of infected students showed a rapid upward trend before 2015(APC=41.7，β=0.3，P<0.01), and the growth rate slowed down(APC=3.6，β=-0.3，P<0.01). The proportion of follow-up and CD4 testing completed within one year increased from 58.3% in 2008 to 93.6% in 2019, and the timely detection rate increased from 33.3% in 2008 to 86.2% in 2019. The Cochran Armitage trend test was statistically significant. Pairwise comparison test showed time trends of the idnex differed in regions and education groups (Z=4.7，8.7，9.8，P<0.01). The Pearl River Delta region, cases from other cities in the province, with precise transmission routes, from voluntary counseling and testing, and cases flowing within the province, the proportion of follow up and testing completed within one year is relatively high (P<0.05). Conclusion The growth rate of HIV/AIDS cases among young students aged 15-24 in Guangdong Province has slowed down in recent years. The route of infection, source and flow of cases affect follow-up and testing compliance. And to do a good job of referrals for off-site mobility, and explore and promote student-friendly VCT service models.

Objective To investigate the nonsentinel lymph nodal (NSLN) status in 1-2 sentinel lymph node positive early breast cancer and to compare with that in Z0011 ALND group.Methods A total of 234 T1,T2 invasive breast cancer with 1-2 positive sentinel lymph nodes were collected in Henan Tumorr Hospital from Jul 2010 to Aug 2014.The data was compared with that of Z0011 ALND group.Results 234 female patients were enrolled.76 cases had non sentinel lymph node metastases.The proportion of 1 and 2 sentinel lymph node metastases was 75.2％ and 24.8％,respectively.The number of positive sentinel lymph nodes and that of negative ones were independent predictors of the non sentinel lymph node status (all P ＜ 0.05).Menstrual status,hormone receptor,Ki67 level and HER2 were not associated with nonsentinel lymph node metastasis (all P ＞ 0.05).They had nonsentinel lymph node positive rate (P ＞ 0.05) similar to that of Z0011 ALND group.Conclusious The number of sentinel lymph nodes and negative sentinel lymph nodes were associated with nonsentinel lymph node metastasis in the 1-2 sentinel lymph positive early stage breast cancer.Those patients had similar positive nonsentinel lymph node rate to that of Z0011 ALND group.

Purpose: Patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)–low advanced breast cancer can benefit from trastuzumab deruxtecan. Given the unclear prognostic characteristics of HER2-low breast cancer, we investigated the prognostic characteristics of HER2-low expression from primary tumor to residual disease after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT). Materials and Methods: The data of HER2-negative patients receiving NACT at our center were collected. Pathological complete response (pCR) rate were compared between HER2-0 and HER2-low patients. The evolution of HER2 expression from primary tumor to residual disease and its impact on disease-free survival (DFS) were examined. Results: Of the 690 patients, 494 patients had HER2-low status, of which 72.3% were hormone receptor (HR)–positive (p < 0.001). The pCR rates of HER2-low and HER2-0 patients (14.2% vs. 23.0%) showed no difference in multivariate analysis regardless of HR status. No association was observed between DFS and HER2 status. Of the 564 non-pCR patients, 57 (10.1%) changed to HER2-positive, and 64 of the 150 patients (42.7%) with HER2-0 tumors changed to HER2-low. HER2-low (p=0.004) and HR-positive (p=0.010) tumors before NACT were prone to HER2 gain. HER2 gain patients had a better DFS compared with HER2-negative maintained patients (87.9% vs. 79.5%, p=0.048), and the DFS of targeted therapy group was better than that of no targeted therapy group (92.4% vs. 66.7%, p=0.016). Conclusion Although HER2-low did not affect the pCR rate and DFS, significant evolution of HER2-low expression after NACT creates opportunities for targeted therapy including trastuzumab.

Objective: To understand the prevalence of HIV testing and related factors among young students who had sex in Guangdong Province, in order to provide evidence for relevant education programs and HIV testing promotion in young students. Methods: From September to December 2022, a convenient sampling method was used to select 48 749 young students from 16 universities and mechanic colleges in 6 cities including Guangzhou, Shantou, Maoming, Huizhou, Dongguan, and Zhongshan in Guangdong Province for online questionnaire survey. A total of 2 971 students who ever had sexual experiences were screened out, and the HIV testing situation and related factors were investigated by using the questionnaire designed by AIDS Prevention and Education Project for College Students of China STD and AIDS Prevention Association.The influencing factors of HIV testing were analyzed using Chi square test and multiple Logistic regression model. Results: Among students who had sexual experiences, 11.92% (354/2 971) were tested for HIV. The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that among young sexual students, using psychoactive substances during sexual activity in the last 1 year ( OR =7.70), having first sex with the same sex ( OR =3.87), having commercial sex ( OR =2.37), having heard of PEP ( OR =2.20), having a high level of self assessed understanding of HIV testing ( OR =1.73), inconsistent use of condoms ( OR =1.56), being aware of HIV infection ( OR =1.53), being aware of HIV knowledge ( OR =1.51) were more likely to test for HIV, and females ( OR =0.39) were less likely to test for HIV ( P < 0.05). Conclusions The proportion of HIV testing is low among sexually active young students in Guangdong Province. Targeted interventions should be tailored to promote HIV testing coverage.

Objective:To investigate the correlation between ipsilateral metastatic supraclavicular lymph nodes(ISLN) pathologically complete response (spCR) and the prognosis in breast cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC) and lymphadenectomy.Methods:Clinical data of 234 breast cancer patients with ISLN at the time of diagnosis and receiving supraclavicular lymph node dissection following NAC were retrospectively analyzed.Results:All patients were female, with a median age of 52 years. The spCR rate was 52.6%. Multivariate analysis showed that the expression level of Ki67, the pathological status of breast and axillary nodes and the dissection number of supraclavicular lymph node were independent relate factors for spCR (all P<0.05). After a median follow-up of 16.6 months, the risk of recurrence and metastasis in the spCR group was 51%. It was lower than that in the non-spCR group ( HR=0.49, 95% CI 0.27-0.89, P=0.020). It was mainly manifested in hormone receptor negative patients. Supraclavicular spCR was an independent prognostic factor for DFS. Conclusions:The expression level of Ki67, pathological state of breast and axillary node and the dissection number of supraclavicular lymph node were independent related factors of spCR, which was also an independent predictor of DFS.

Objective: To investigate the influence of lumpectomy on axillary lymph node status of breast cancer patients. Methods: The clinical data of 738 invasive breast cancer patients with non-palpable axillary lymph node and sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy from November 2011 to August 2013 in Henan Provincial Cancer Hospital were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 136 patients underwent preoperative lumpectomy (lumpectomy group) and 602 patients underwent puncture biopsy only (biopsy group). The difference of axillary lymph node status and positive ratio of SLN detected by color Doppler ultrasound were compared between these two groups. Results: Among the 738 breast cancer patients, the axillary lymph nodes of 444 (60.2%) cases could be detected by ultrasound. Among them, 92 cases belonged to lumpectomy group, significantly less than 352 cases of biopsy group (P=0.048). Among the patients with ultrasound-visible lymph nodes, the proportion of the biggest diameter of axillary lymph node >1 cm of lumpectomy group or biopsy group was 58.7% (54/92) or 52.8% (186/352), respectively, without significant difference (P=0.316). The proportion of patients with the ratio of long diameter to short diameter <2 of lumpectomy group or biopsy group was 37.0% (34/92) or 38.6% (136/352), respectively, with marginal difference (P=0.768). The positive rate of SLN of lumpectomy group or biopsy group was 23.5% (32/136) or 26.9% (162/602), respectively, without significant difference (P=0.419). The incidence rate of the ultrasound visible axillary lymph nodes of patients whose postoperative time ≤ 7 days or > 7days was 71.1% (64/90) or 60.9% (8/46), respectively, without significant difference (P=0.227). However, the positive rate of SLN of these two groups was 28.9% (26/90) and 13.0% (6/46), respectively, with significant difference (P=0.039). The number of ultrasound visible axillary lymph nodes, the biggest diameter of axillary lymph nodes and the ratio of the long diameter to short diameter <2 were substantially correlated with the positive rate of SLN (P<0.05). Conclusions The incidence rate of ultrasound visible axillary lymph node in the patients with lumpectomy is higher than that of patients with puncture biopsy only. The positive rate of SLN of the patients with a long postoperative time is lower than that of patients with a short postoperative time, even though the axillary lymph nodes are ultrasound visible.
