Objective To explore the correlation between serum myocardial enzymes and children with viral hepatitis according to clinical observation and analysis,in order to guide clinical treatment.Methods 66 children with viral encephalitis admitted in Women and Children's Hospital of Ninbo City from September 2010 to December 2011 were used as observation group,the aspartate a minotransferase(AST)level,lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)level,creatine kinase levels(CK)level,MB isoenzyme of creatine kinase(CK-MB)level in serum were detected by Olym pus AU-1000 automatic biochemical analyzer.The level ofα-hydroxybutyric acid dehydrogenase(α-HBDH)was detected,too.At the same time,another 48 normal children in our hospital were used as control group,and the same indexes were detected and recorded.After obtain those datas in two groups,the differences of myocardial enzymes between observation group and control group,acute and convalescent,light and heavy encephalitis encephalitis, gammaglobulin gammaglobulin treatment and non-treatment group were compared and analyzed.Results showed that the degrees of myocardial damage were varied in children with viral inordinately,the more serious illness in children,the higher myocardial enzyme levels.Correspondingly,while the children with encephalitis were in recovery ,their cardiac enzyme levels were found significantly reduced.Adding gamma globulin may help cardiac enzymes decreasing at a faster rate,favoring patients' recovery.Conclusion Cardiac enzyme activity can be used as an important indicator of clinical observation in children with viral and their prognosis,proper treatment should be carried out when the relationship between serum myocardial enzymes and viral encephalitis are clear.

Objective To study the expression of CD147 and collagen Ⅳ protein in gastric carcinoma.Methods Immunohistochemical assay was used to detect the expression of CD147 and collagen Ⅳ protein in 119 cases of gastric carcinoma, 20 cases of normal gastric tissues, and the clinical data was analyzed.Results In 119 cases of gastric carcinoma, the positive expression of CD147 protein was 83.2 %(99/119), the positive expression of collagen Ⅳ protein was 31.9 %(38/119). The expression of CD147 and collagen Ⅳprotein had relationship with metastasis of lymph nodes,depth of invasion and clinical phases (P ＜0.05). There was negative significant correlation between the expression of CD147 and collagen Ⅳ protein in gastric carcinoma (P＜0.01). Conclusion The expressions of CD147 and collagen Ⅳ protein may be used as one of the marks to study gastric carcinoma.

Objective To evaluate quantitative examination of urinary sediment bacteria as a basic feasibility of screening indicators for urinary tract infection .Methods 191 outpatients and inpatient specimens were gathered firstly to implement a urine culture ,and then the rest of the urine were used for sediment bacteria quantitative testing .Meanwhile ,bacterial culture was conducted as the standard .According to the results of bacterial culture ,receiver operating characteristic(ROC) was drawn ,the threshold values of leukocyte and bacteria counts for diagnosis of urinary tract infection were found out and its sensitivity ,specificity ,positive / negative predictive value ,false positive/false negative rate and accuracy were calculated .Results The positive rate of urine culture was 39 .7% ,and the most common pathogen was Escherichia coli .The threshold value of bacteria and leukocyte counts for diagnosis of urinary tract infection was 1 024 .5/μL and 135 .8/μL respectively .When combined leukocyte and bacteria counts for urinary tract infection ,the optimum sensitivity was 62 .5% ,specificity was 98 .1% ,positive predictive value was 95 .7% ,negative predictive value was 79 .6% ,false positive rate was 1 .9% ,false negative rate was 37 .5% ,and accuracy was 83 .8% .Conclusion With UF‐1000i urinary sediment analyzer ,the combined determination of leukocyte and bacteria counts can remove the great mass of negative results ,Especially the results of bacterial culture positive predictability is higher ,but still can not replace of quantitative bacterial culture .

Objective: To explore the expression and significance of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in gastric carcinoma.Methods: S-P immunohistochemical method was used to examine the expression of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 in 47 specimens of gastric carcinoma.Results: MMP-9 and TIMP-1 were expressed predominantaly in the peritumor stromal cells than tumor cells themselves.The expression level of MMP-9 and TIMP-1 correlated with lymph node metastasis (P0 05).Conclusion: The results suggests that MMP-9 and TIMP-1 might be important biological makers for determining the malignant behave of gastric carcinoma.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of CT in the spondylolysis of lumbar spine and improve the technique of CT scan.Methods The CT appearances of the spondylolysis of lumbar spine were analyzed in 20 cases.Results CT could demonstrate the spondylolysis and its abnormal features that led to compress nerve root.Conclusion CT scan plays an important role in the diagnosis of the spondylolysis of lumbar spine and in selecting treat methods.Technique of CT scan improved can depict the specific feature of spondylolysis truely.

Objective To describe the characteristic MR findings in the brain in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and to assess the diagnostic value of conventional MR imaging and fractional anisotropy (FA) of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). Methods Conventional MR imaging was performed in 14 clinically proved ALS patients and 12 age-matched normal controls. Contrast enhanced MR images were acquired in 2 patients. Axial and coronal DTI scans were performed in 10 patients and 12 normal controls with SE-EPI sequence. The b value was 1 000 s/mm 2, the number of diffusion sensitive gradient direction was 25. For quantitative assessment of the corticospinal tract (CST), FA value of bilateral CST was measured at the level of posterior limb (PL) of the internal capsule (IC) and the cerebral peduncle of the midbrain, respectively, and statistical analysis was performed. Results Focal slight low signal intensity on T 1WI and high signal intensity (hyperintense to gray matter) on T 2WI was demonstrated in 6 ALS cases (42.9%) in bilateral PL of the IC, and the high signal was longitudinally continuous from the PL to the cerebral peduncle on T 2WI coronal plane, corresponding to the course of CST. In another 8 ALS cases (57.1%), the focal slight low signal intensity on T 1WI and slight high signal intensity (isointense to gray matter) on T 2WI was revealed in bilateral PL of the IC. No abnormal contrast enhancement was detected in the 2 cases. In control group, the focal slight low signal intensity on T 1WI and slight high signal intensity (isointense to gray matter) on T 2WI was demonstrated in all 12 subjects in bilateral PL of the IC. Objective To investigate the MR manifestations and diagnostic value in patients with choroidal fissure cyst of the brain. Methods Characteristic MR findings in 16 patients with choroidal fissure cyst were retrospectively analyzed, and the correlation between MR imaging and clinical manifestations was reviewed. Results The cysts were situated within the choroidal fissure in all cases, representing as cystic lesion with clear border, no detectable soft tissue mass in the cyst wall or adjacent area, homogenous signal intensity identical to CSF on all sequences, with the average size of 0.9 cm?1.3 cm?1.5 cm, and no associated edema. Gd-DTPA was performed in 6 cases and revealed no evidence of enhancement. Conclusion The choroidal fissure cyst of the brain is a benign and congenital developmental abnormality, and has minor clinical significance. Because of its specific anatomic location, the choroidal fissure cysts simulate intraparenchymal cystic lesions on axial images. Coronal and sagittal MR imaging can be used to delineate its extraaxial location and make the correct diagnosis, and, thus, differentiate with other cystic lesions.

Objective To investigate the biological function of IFN-λ in 7 human esophageal carcinoma cells. MethodsThe gene expression of IL-28α, IL-10β and antiviral molecule was examined with PCR. The MHC molecules expression and the profiles of cell cycle were analyzed with flow cytometer. Cell proliferation was evaluated with MTT assay. ResultsAll of esophageal carcinoma cells express the gene of II-28α and IL-10β. IFN-λ induced or augmented the gene expression of antiviral molecules, 2′5′-OAS and MxA. IFN-λ enhanced the MHC class Ⅰ molecule expression. IFN-λ inhibited the growth of esophageal carcinoma cells through the regulation of cell cycle distribution. ConclusionEsophageal carcinoma cells express the IFN-λ receptor complex. IFN-λ has the antiviral, anti-proliferative and immunoregulation activity.
