ObjectiveThe psychologic health level of college and secondaryschool students and the relevant fac- tors were investigated to scientific basis and guidance for school mental health work. MethodsStandard 1251 cases were drawn from 1% of students in colleges and middle schools of Shaanxi province. Taking 14 psychic health level indexes in SCL-90 as dependent variable and 109 indexes of psychic health back ground as in-dependent variable, multi-factor analyses have been made. Results22.6 % of students had relatively serious psychological problems. The score of SCL-90 in females was a little bit higher than that in males. The scores of students at both universities and se- nior middle schools were higher than that in junior middle schools students. The score of SCL-90 of students who came from the countryside was higher than that of city students. The score of the whole students was higher than that of the normal. The students with psychic problems showed obsession, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, paranoia and hostility. Factor-analysis showed that influencing factors included history of positive individual risking behavior, physical conditions, grade, address, family influences, menses and sexual prombles, bad relation with others, poor self-assessment. ConclusionThe psychologic health level of the students investigated is lower than that of the whole society. The factors, which hamper psychic health of students, are biological ,psychological and social in nature.

Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of three column osteotomy (3-CO) procedures through previous spinal fusion site for the revision surgical treatment in severe spinal deformity patients. Methods From Oct.2010 to May 2014 in our hospital,a total of 12 severe spinal deformity patients underwent 3-CO for the revision surgical treatment. There were 7 males and 5 females with the average age of (21.8±3.8) years, ranging from 18 to 30 years. The mean time from the initial operation to the revision surgery was (10.2±4.8) years (ranging from 3 to 17 years). The reasons for revision were:curve progression in 7 patients, neurologic deficit in 2 cases, implant failure in 1 patient and pseudarthrosis in 2 patients. The coronal parameters including major Cobb angle and distance between C7 plumb line and center sacral vertical line (C7PL-CSVL),and the sagittal parameters including global kyphosis curve and sagittal vertical axis (SVA) were measured pre-operatively,post-operatively and at last followup, respectively. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss and complications were recorded. The paired t test was used to evaluate the difference among pre-revision,post-revision and last follow-up.Results The average operation time was (451.7±83.1) min (range,320-600 min) and the average blood loss was (4 016.7± 1 080.0) ml (range,2 700-6 000 ml).The average follow-up time after revision operation was (35.4±9.8) months (range,24-49 months). The coronal Cobb angles of pre-revision and post-revision were 83.8°±23.3°and 34.6°± 13.7°.The average correction rate was 60.1% ±8.8%.At last follow-up,the average coronal Cobb angle was 34.9°±13.8°,there was no significant loss of correction. The pre-revision and post-revision values of global kyphosis were 99.1°±13.3°and 38.7°±7.8° with a mean correction rate of 60.8% ±6.7%.At the last follow-up,the average global kyphosis was 39.3°±7.5°and no loss of correction was found. For the C7PL-CSVL and SVA,pre-revision (30.3± 17.1) mm and (40.1±31.1) mm were corrected to (14.3 ±7.6) mm and (19.1± 12.3) mm immediately after revision operation, respectively. At final follow-up,the average C7PL-CSVL and SVA were(14.1 ± 7.6) mm and (19.6± 12.1) mm,the correction was well maintained.Obviously, two patient's neurological status improved from Frankel C before revision surgery to Frankel E.Complications were encountered in five patients (41.7%),including SEP signal changed in 1 patient (8.3%),transient neurologic deficit after revision surgery in 1 patient (8.3%),cerebrospinal fluid leak in 1 patient (8.3%),and pleural effusion in 2 patients (16.7%).During the follow-up time, there was no patient experienced pseudarthrosis, implant failure, infection or significant loss of correction. Conclusion Based on results of this study,it was concluded that 3-CO procedures through previous spinal fusion sites could obtain satisfactory and safety results in severe spinal deformity revision surgery. However,it is a technique-demanding procedure with more blood loss, longer operative time and higher risk of perioperative complications.

Objective To compare the clinical effect of ifosfamide in combination with liposomal doxorubicin and dexamethasone (CDD) in the treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (MM) with or without extramedullary plasmacytoma (EMP). Methods The clinical data of 71 relapsed/refractory MM patients treated with CDD regimen from January 2011 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed, including 48 patients with EMP(group A)and 23 patients without EMP (group B).One cycle of the CDD treatment was 21 d or 28 d and efficacy analysis was performed after every two cycles. Results The overall response rate in group A was 43.8%(21/48)and the complete remission and near complete remission rate was 8.3%(4/48);the overall response rate in group B was 65.2%(15/23)and the complete remission and near complete remission rate was 13.0% (3/23). There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups(χ2=1.203,0.659,P>0.05).The progression-free survival (PFS)time in group A was(8.6 ± 3.3)months, while the PFS time in group B was(7.9 ± 2.5)months and there was no significant difference between the two groups(t=1.009,P>0.05).There was no significant difference about incidence rate of adverse effects between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions CDD regimen can be used for the treatment of relapsed/refractory MM with or without EMP, the PFS and drug related adverse effects are similar, especially in patients with EMP.

Objective:To explore the role of comprehensive first aid skills training in improving medical students' comprehensive first aid ability.Methods:Eighty-seven medical students were enrolled in this study, and received the training of comprehensive first aid skills developed by the emergency medicine teaching and research section of our hospital. The scores of individual first aid ability, emergency handling ability, team cooperation ability, organization and coordination ability and communication ability before and after the training were analyzed. At the same time, a questionnaire survey was conducted among students to understand their evaluation and recognition of the training. SPSS 10.0 was used for t test. Results:After the training, the total score of comprehensive first aid ability was increased significantly [(73.55±3.89) vs. (63.53±3.06)], and the scores of emergency handling ability [(10.11±1.43) vs. (8.01±1.16)], team cooperation ability [(11.38±1.21) vs. (8.15±0.99)], organization and coordination ability [(10.68±1.17) vs. (8.15±0.99)] and communication ability [(9.64±1.31) vs. (7.55±1.08)] were also significantly increased ( P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the scores of individual first aid ability mastery before and after training. In all, 80.46%-96.55% of the students think that the training of comprehensive first aid skills is conducive to the improvement of their comprehensive first aid ability, and all of the students are willing to use this training in the future. Conclusion:Comprehensive first aid skill training is beneficial to improve medical students' comprehensive first aid ability.

In order to realize tumor disease information sharing and unified management, we utilized grid technology to make the data and software resources which distributed in various medical institutions for effective integration so that we could make the heterogeneous resources consistent and interoperable in both semantics and syntax aspects. This article describes the tumor grid framework, the type of the service being packaged in Web Service Description Language (WSDL) and extensible markup language schemas definition (XSD), the client use the serialized document to operate the distributed resources. The service objects could be built by Unified Modeling Language (UML) as middle ware to create application programming interface. All of the grid resources are registered in the index and released in the form of Web Services based on Web Services Resource Framework (WSRF). Using the system we can build a multi-center, large sample and networking tumor disease resource sharing framework to improve the level of development in medical scientific research institutions and the patient's quality of life.
