The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of job stress and social support on the organizational effectiveness of hospital employees and to examine the role of social support in the experience of job stress among the employees. Previous studies have yielded mixed results regarding the role of social support. Some studies provide supporting evidence for the buffering effect of social support, while others do not. Still others report findings about reverse buffering effects. These inconsistent findings are, in part, accounted for by methodological problems such as poor measurement, small sample size, and the existence of high multicollinearity. To examine more rigorously the role of social support in relation to the negative effects of job stress, this study was carefully designed to overcome methodolgical shortcomings found in the past research. In addition, unlike the previous studies, which were concerned mostly with health-related variables as consequences of job stress, in this study, three work-related variables (job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intent to stay) which had close relationships with organizational effectiveness were examined as output variables. The sample used in this study consisted of 353 employees from a university hospital in the suburbs of seoul. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using canonical analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that; (l) job stress has negative main effects on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intent to stay; (2) social support has positive main effects on the same three output variables, (3) social support does not moderate the harmful effects of job stress on the three outcome variables, and (4) the three-way interaction effects of (social support * job stress * gender) and of (social support * job stress * education) are not supported The implications of these findings for the management of human resources are discussed.

5.Investigation of Hansen's disease patient's registration system.
Korean Leprosy Bulletin 2006;39(1):9-36
Recently it is becoming socially controversy about Hansen's disease patient's registration system that was considered as the reasonable and best system in the past. Medically, it is naturally to make the patient's medical record(medial registration), including patient's detail profile, patient's family history, or other informations acquired form medical examination process for the clinical judgement and the best result of treatment. And that is necessary to government authorities that made the budget to provide the free medical and social service to Hansen's disease patients, but that is worry about the drain of personal information and the use of basic data to control. Therefore, we have to need to do enough examination between patient with leprologist, sociologist, government authorities and patients about this and advance this by reasonable system to everybody.

6.National Computerized Leprosy Information System.
Korean Leprosy Bulletin 2000;33(2):1-29
For the integrated leprosy control, including the elimination of leprosy and the leprosy related activity, the collection and analysis of the accurate data is essential. In Korea, we have applied the computerized information system of the leprosy control. This system was designed for data collection as well as data analysis. The major functions of this system include data entry, data transfer, from local level to central level, data sum-up, and production of information, including epidemiologial and clinical information and information for decision-making. Firstly we used this system for treatment workload only. Because the basic concept of our system's data structure is more flexible than other's, we try that we can use it more widely, for the leprosy related activity now. We think that this system has been supported effectively our integrated leprosy control work in Korea. We therefore present the computerized leprosy information system of Korea.

7.The Role of Social Support in the Relationship between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction/Organizational Commitment.
Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing 2003;33(2):265-274
PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of social support in the experience of job stress among hospital nurses. METHOD: This study was carefully designed to overcome methodological shortcomings found in past research, and examined two organizational effectiveness variables(job satisfaction and organizational commitment) as outcome variables. The sample used in this study consisted of 602 nurses from 5 general hospitals. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using hierarchical regression and LISREL technique. RESULT: It was found that: (a) three job stress variables(workload, role conflict and conflict with other medical staff) have negative effects on job satisfaction and organizational commitment; (b) social support have positive main effects on the two output variables; (c) the negative effects of job stress variables on job satisfaction and organizational commitment are not buffered by social support, and (d) social support mediates the effects of job stress on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and the size of the mediating effects is small. CONCLUSION: Further research needs to be done to further refine this study.

Lichen nitidus(LN) is an unaommon chronic eruption of numerou tiny, discrete, usually flesh colored, shiny papules most cornmonly located on the penis, arms, for arms, and abdomen. It was described by Pinkus, first in 1901. The distribution of LN is most often locaized, but in some cases it may become generalized. A 10-year-old healthy boy was seen by our department because of many flesh colored, discrete, shiny papules on the whole body. The papules are skin colored, pinhcad sized, round, and flat-topped. The lesions appeared first at the age of 9 on the forehead and then neased in the number and extended downward to the neck, trunk, abdornen and both extremities. This case was successfully treated with topical corticosteroid.

9.Leprosy Control and Information System.
Korean Leprosy Bulletin 2001;34(1):79-96
Many futurists state that the rate of change that has happened around the world over the past 10 years is greater than at all other period's of time. The leading factor, irrelevant of an individuals knowledge, is the popularization of the Internet. People now can get large amounts of information at a very low cost. Popularization of information technology has changed the economic competitiveness from existing physical production capacity to information collecting and information processing power. . In other words, advanced products that have high added value, generated by collecting and processing technical information, are superior to products that are made physically. With respect to Hansen's disease, after MDT was introduced in 1980's, and WHO started to eliminate leprosy in 1991, Hansen's disease situation has changed in most of the world. However, using only the traditional information systems that were used in the past, it is difficult to cope with this situation. To improve and keep the competitiveness, it is necessary to keep pace with available changes in technology, and it is essential to establish flexible information system about the disease. To do this, we have to create new services. To create a new paradigm for dealing properly with changes in the management of Hansen's disease in the information society, I would like to introduce an information system. As part of the development of this system, I would like to introduce new material resources including an information system, human resources, databases, and network.

10.A Study on the Information Monitoring System for Leprosy related Service.
Korean Leprosy Bulletin 2004;37(1):81-103
To improve and keep the competitiveness, it is necessary to keep pace with available changes in technology, and it is essential to establish the flexible and accurate information system about the disease. And for the accurate decision-making, target setting and prediction of movement, the estimating of the short- and long-term effects of the strategies of disease related service are required. But the limited informations, including all of knowledge of leprosy, make it difficult to estimate them properly. To achieve the more effective leprosy related service, we have to make the effort to crate the more accurate system. To proffer the idea for the development of information monitoring, we present the reviews of some articles about the information theories that used the leprosy related service.
