Korean Journal of Dermatology 1977;15(2):211-215
Acrokeratosis verruciformis is a familial disease characterized by indolent papules resembIing flat warts on the backs of the hands and feet with lesser involvement of volar surfaces, wrists, and ankles. A cas of 42 years old female with acrokeratosis verruciformis is reported. The skin lesions of this patient showed numerous rice to pea sized, flat-topped, round or polygonal, warty papules on the dorsal aspects of the hands and feet and also, pitted keratolysis on both volar surface of the hands. The hitologic findings were those of features of acrokeratosis verruciformis, i.e. the epidermis shows marked hyperkeratosis with slight acanthosis and papillomatosis and circumscribed elevations of the epidermis resembling church spires characteristically.

Journal of the Korean Pediatric Society 1993;36(5):733-736
Congenital tricuspid stenosis is an uncommon congenital heart anomaly. Tricuspid stenosis is usually associated with other anomalies, most commonly severe pulmonary stenosis or atresia with secondary hypoplasia of the right ventricle. Clinically it may be difficult to distinguish from tricuspid atresia. A case of congenital tricuspid stenosis in a 32 day-old-girl is presented. The patient had cyanosis and dyspnea. Echocardiographic study revealed tricuspid stenosis with right ventricular hypoplasia, atrial septal defect and pulmonary stenosis.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1976;14(4):389-393
Muchz-Habermann disease is cutaneous disease of unknown etilogy and characterized by a, polymorphous eruption consisting of papulosquamous, bemorrhagic, ulceronecrotic lesion eventually into varioliform scars. It is also classified into parapsoriasis group according to Broq with parapsoriasis en guttata (pityriasis lichenoides chronica), parapsoriasis en plaques, parapsoriasis en lichenoides. The 61-year-old male patient visited to Dermatologic Department of Severance Hospital due to sudden onset of generalized eruption. He presented pea to fingr tip sized erythematous, silvery maculo-papulo-squamous eruptions on trunk, extre- mities and buttock, but didnt complain of any subjective symptoms except markel fatigue. Skin biopsy was done on right forearm and was confirrr.ed to pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta by histopathologic finding. The lesion was completely controlled by oral tetracycline 2. Ogm per daily for first 4 wecks and reduced dosage l. Ogin per day for second 2 weeks.

Annals of Dermatology 1997;9(4):281-285
We described a case of diffuse biphasic cutaneous amyloidosis, a unique form of localized cutaneous amyloidosis. A 41-year-old man has gradually developed a lichenoid papular and a grouped spotted pigmented macular eruption on the trunk and upper extremities over the past 15 years. Histopathologic examination revealed that amyloid deposits were present in the papillary dermis. It was confirmed by Congo red staining, immunohistochemistry and electron microscopy. There was no evidence of systemic amyloidosis.

Korean Journal of Anesthesiology 1997;33(4):788-791
We experienced a case of unilateral vocal cord paralysis following tracheal extubation. The patient was a 60-year-old man undergoing subtotal gastrectomy. He had no laryngeal symptoms prior to operation and the trachea was intubated with a cuffed endotracheal tube. The surgical procedure lasted 6 hours and was uneventful. Three days later after operation, he began to complain of hoarseness and mild aspiration symptom. On endoscopic examination, left vocal cord paralysis was found. Fifteen weeks later the voice and left vocal cord function return to normal without specific management. In this case, we suggested that possible causes of unilateral vocal cord paralysis are compression of recurrent laryngeal nerve by overexpanded endotracheal cuff, laryngeal trauma during difficult intubation, stretching of the nerve as a result of traction on distant organ, decreased elasticity of trachea and surrounding tissues in the older age group and long operating time.

7.A Case of Delayed Tracheo-esophageal Fistula Complicating Acute Intoxication of Hydrogen Peroxide.

Journal of the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine 2017;28(2):218-222
Hydrogen peroxide is a commonly used oxidizing agent. If injected, it may result in morbidity via direct caustic injury, oxygen gas formation, and lipid peroxidation. We report a 40-year-old male patient who accidentally swallowed undiluted hydrogen peroxide (35%). The initial chest computed tomography scan showed no active lesions. He was admitted to the intensive care unit for conservative treatment. Fourteen days after treatment, uncontrolled fever and foul oder sputum occurred, which was not alleviated despite empirical antibiotics therapy. Findings on a chest computed tomography showed tracheo-esophageal fistula at the lower trachea and left main bronchus. He underwent surgical replacement surgery and was discharged without complication after 52 days of admission.
