Objectives: To inveatigate Helicobacter pylo r i (Hp) in dental plaque and its relevance to gastric disease. Methods: 40 physical examination subjects were recruited. Subgingival plaque and gastric biopsy samples were respectively collected for detection of Hpby in vitroculture. Results: Hpwas identified in gastric biopsy from ten of thirty-seven (27.03%) subjects with proven chronic gastric disease. From five of the ten, Hpwas isolated in their dental plaque. None of three subjects without chronic gastric disease had Hpin their gastric bi opsy. However, Hpwas found in dental plaque from one of the three.C onclusion: The results suggest that dental plaque is an ecological niche of Hp. Oral Hpmay be related to chronic gastric disease.

Objective To establish a pseudovirus-based neutralization assay. Methods The functional gp160 genes were amplified from plasmids containing HIV-1 gene. The products were ligased into pcDNA3.1 plasmid and positive clones were screened by digestion with restriction enzymes. The pseudoviruses were harvested by co-transfection of the positive clone and pSG3△env plasmid. The neutralizing activities of monoclonal antibodies and HIV-1 antibody positive plasma were measured by these pseudoviruses. Results The four strains of psedoviruses (CHB01, CHB02, CHBC03 and CHAE04) had been successfully obtained. Monoclonal antibody 4E10 could neutralize all of 4 pseudoviruses while 2G12 could not neutralize any pesudoviruses. Monoclonal antibody 2F5 could neutralize pseudovirus CHB01, CHB02 and CHAE04 but not CHBC03, while IgG1b12 could neutralize pseudovirus CHB01, CHB02 and CHBC03 but not CHAE04. The neutralizing activities of 43 of HIV-1 antibody positive plasma against different subtypes of pseudovirus were significant differences and the cross-neutralization effects for some samples exist. Conclusion The harvested pseudoviruses could be used in the neutralization assay. However, the neutralizing characteristics of different pseudoviruses may be different.

Objective:
Based on the nature, location and size of parotid tumor, different incisions were chosen and method of selecting the best cosmetic incision for parotid gland tumor operation would be discussed.
Methods:
33 cases of parotid benign tumor patients that received by Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery of First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University during 2015-2017 were included in this study. According to the size of the tumor location, different incisions, mainly pretragal vertical, pretragal crutch and rhytidectomy incision were selected. The facial nerve and the great auricular nerve were protected during the operation. In 1-month and 3-month follow-up, clinical examination of temporary facial paralysis, salivary fistula, especially the cosmetic outcome after the surgery were evaluated.
Results:
The satisfaction rate of parotid cosmetic incision was significantly higher than that of the traditional group, the incidence of transient facial paralysis, salivary fistula was not statistically significant compared with the traditional incision.
Conclusions
According to the location of parotid tumor, we should choose the proper cosmetic incision approach, which is better than the traditional surgical incision.
